There's a lot of typing ahead. Each heart means a FOMOD which requires instructions...

 

I'm aim to get HDT-SMP, PBR and 'fuzzy' pelts to all armors that exist in the vanilla game. So if you decide not to use a replacer you'll still get the best possible visuals for an armor (and some mods point directly to a vanilla armor and use them).

The drawback is more mods to download, the advantage is an improved look and the option to scale the required textures to the capabilities of the system (aka use less VRAM). They all have options for 4K, 2K and some can get even lower.

First testfile (for female armors) is done. If it works out and I have to upload it then the real fun starts. Even with the best compression I have it size is  ~370MB. And with a limit of 500MB here it will become interesting to post.

 

But if I'm successful the furry parrts of all armors should look close to this mod.

Is there a patch for Skyshard and Nature of the Wild I missed somewhere?  The one by the stable outside Whiterun is in the middle of a Nature of the Wild bush and you cant target it.

 

Love this list, though I dont use every mod its a great way to learn Dyndolod and stuff and I have been modding my games for 15+ years still learend some new tricks.  The first time I tried Dyndold a while back I got frustrated and confused, the video was a GREAT help.

These days I seem to find things. But for a change, this time it isn't something in the list. Instead I found a new and very interesting looking mod:

That would make archery gameplay more fun and interesting.

Just checked and Arrow Nocks seems to be compatible with that since vanilla uv maps and textures get used there and that's the requirement for the vanilla + dlc asset pack needs.

Looks like either someone is extremely slow and/or lazy. They also might have forgotten that they started to work on that, or it was intentional, but Immersive World Encounters in NPC still isn't back again. I was about to make a Zootopia sloth joke, but so far the mod author is 'far inferior' than the the Tel Jerdein one from the post above...

Looks to me as if Nexus managed to piss off the next group of modders (and it is not the first time).

 

All will be fixed (as far as I can) with the next update. Atm I'm chasing down bugs and inconsistancies, but the update should be ready in a few days...

Any ideas on why I would get white blobs for the torch light on ones like outside of the Thieves Guild?

Thats a mesh issue.

 

Check in lighting if you got 'Better wall sconce' (or something like that). It got removed in a previous uupdate as it caused this bug.

Yeah not seeing anything like that name, I'll double check my lighting group vs yours.  I did notice that the console said last modified by unknown :(

Those idiots never learned the difference between pixel worlds and reality. Same as the ones who think Counterstrike, or something similar, is training for weaponhandling... 🙄

It wasn't named the same as your but you removed Embers XD - Higher Poly Vanilla Torch Sconce due to the issue.  I just missed it :(

My report after 20 hours of gameplay on the mod list from 3 weeks ago. Sorry for the wall of text.

 

BUG


- The Contextual Crosshair can bug and disappear after a while for seemingly no reason. I used this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/141748 to fix it.


- QuickLootEE stopped working after a while because it conflicts with the hotkey mod. It’s better to use the new version https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/120075 with the Nordic style https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/140908


You need to edit QuickLootIE.json in QuickLoot IE - A QuickLoot EE Fork\SKSE\Plugins from...

Still getting black face on Arniel Gane in the College of Winterhold. Can't find the right load order for him.

 

- Better Vampire: I got a warning in the MCM menu that RS Children conflicts with it. Couldn't find if the message was displayed, even if RS Children is installed correctly.

But I couldn't find a fix for the eye color resetting every time.

 

BUG I think it's my fault.

 

Custom map marker distance does not display correctly on the compass (e.g., custom marker at 100m on the map shows at 1500m on the compass).


Dwarven Colossus: I got some bugged textures on his corpse.


In Whiterun: A floating tree between the temple and the crypt, just behind the gate, and one of the trees covers half the face of the Statue of Talos.

 

BALANCE:


Elmlock Armor and Blade SPID spawn too much at too low a level. One in four low-level bandits wear it, and it’s 1000 gold worth of gear for each bandit, breaking the balance very early. In the first mine close to Riverwood, I found 4 of them, worth 4000 gold.


JS Ioun Stones SE: 600 gold for each stone, and every mage starting at level 1 drops at least one.

Since the old patch between Odin and the additional Dremora Faces is gone, I made one between these two things as well as Zim's Dremora Improvements. I can't test it yet since I'm in the middle of the new update, but it should work. The only question is how good the feeling of fighting against the dremora lords and the potent dremora lord would be. Are they right from the strength? Too weak? Too strong? Depending on that, the values might have to be tweaked. Oh right. We'd also have to see how the summoning scripts of zim and odin will work together...

Some time has passed, am now downloading the pbr stuff, but I already have a few things I noticed:

 

The Steel Armor was supposed to be the third option for the Legion Armor, right? It is a bit confusing when it isn't in that spot yet, but also not marked as optional.

 

Then I have a bunch of things for the Northern Road patches. First would be the suggestion of making a list instead of a picture, so you can have additional notes to mark patches from optional files. Also, the Patch Compendium has been updated, and the Fortified Mortal patch has been affected there, giving the file another name (Northern Roads - Fortified Morthal.esp). They also added a patch for the HAG Occult Ophan Rock, making the other patch redundant. 

 

"Ryn's Valtheim ReCovered pat.esp" and "Northern Roads - Butterflies Land True patch.esp" are patches from mods you probably currently are testing. I think, they currently aren't in the list.

 

"Northern Roads - More to Say Shor's Stone patch.esp" is from More to Say. I'm surprised, that you didn't have that in your list, since it isn't optional and without an install description, I just installed everything in there.

 

Also the Mods "Khajit has Wares", "Docks of Riverwood" and "Nature of the Wild Lands" have native patches for Northern Roads. The Khajit one isn't needed, since the Patch Collection has its own patch for that and states to use that instead of the one from the original mod. So maybe a note on the original mod about that might be good. The other two don't have patches in the Collection or the Compendium, so they might be needed. And if they are, then we do need their load order as well. The one from Docks of Riverwood is just like its Nature of the Wild Lands patch not compatible with the Ivy Riverwood Overhaul, so would only work for the Riverwood has Walls option. Well if it works.

Now finished with downloading the pbr mods. It would be nice, if you could add a suggestion on which things to pick in the Vanaheim - Landscapes mod and the Northern Roads.
