Commonwealth Slavers

hey,

I recently ran into a problem:
slaves do not have slave tattoos (I remember that they used to be), now every slave has whip overlays and that's it, do you have any ideas how to fix it?

I would also like to know how overlays on NPCs are generally applied (I want to slightly alter the appearance of slaves for myself, give them more uniqueness xd), I understand that this cannot be done with the creation kit, sooo... scripts?
please tell me what I need to study to do this)

The easiest method for me is to grab the ID of an NPC (open te console and click on the NPC). Open Looksmenu with that ID (SLM *ID*) and start putting the tattoos you prefer on this NPC.

 

When you're done, save it as a preset. You apply that preset manually with Looksmenu, which has an option for that. (Again, SLM *ID*). 

 

As you will see, it sounds (and is) a slow process. I preferred to make an identical set for all the slaves and that's it, instead of making a different set for each one, ufff.  

 

Funny enough, to script it, I followed this same process. I put the tattoos ingame. Then I used the file generated from the preset to get the IDs of the tattoos and apply them, now, via script. 

 

I note your report of the slaves without tattoos, I will see it when I can. Thanks.

I was using NR plugins. Had to start a new game with old save plugins to get it to work (black screen loop initially), so don't feel bad.  

 

Animation name is Slavers_Standingdoggy 4 Staged

yeah, i was an idiot :tounge_wink: i had NAF installed, don't know why i installed it but yeah oops

Thanks for the answer, it brought some clarity.
Can you tell me the name of the script file that is responsible for tattoos? I want to watch it, because I want to work on my mod (your scripts make it very easy to study this topic, thanks for them :))

I like your work, but I have to inform you about another problem: in the quest that takes you to Diamond city, the slaves (immediately after talking to Gristle) stand still (it seems to me that they should follow, but they just stand). I tried out "resurrect 1", and then one slave went, BUT... when I using this command on other slaves - I got a CTD.

Hey guys I'm having some issues the scene where murphy tells me to get on the ground doesn't play I'm just kind of free to roam around the room.

That should trigger a AAF scene so i suppose the first question is, does AAF actually work on your install? i.e. when triggered by another mod or manually with the HOME key and setting up a scene

Hello all,

i  am just at the last stage from the quest "The Truce" i need to return to  the "Whorehouse". The questmarker is there but if i stand in front of it - the  quest will not be finished - Murphy always says - "move ahead"...

 

Any ide what i can do?

OK,

i   found a hint - with "coc 00brothel"  i portet inside the "Whore House" and could end the quest.

Yes, you have to enter the W. House through the door to report to Lindstrom. I'm pretty sure the marker should point to Lindstrom, inside the W. House.  

 

What I presume is that the marker was by the door, which means you should enter. Have you played Fallout before? Just a question of curiosity and no offense, obviously.

That's because you are missing the masters my mod needs, which are listed on the main page. Double check that. ("Hard Requierements")

I need more context. Where does it happen ? 

 

If it is the startup, that is a sign that the mod could not load the scripts and you need to make sure you have all the hard requierements.

it happened when i already left vault 111, i didnt have an issue with nuka ride and i have all of the requirements. i had problems of the survivor installed, removed it and nothing changed so i added it back

Try it without Nuka Ride installed, and without Problem of Survivor installed and make sure you have Sex Attributes installed. Although it is not mandatory, have the Amputator installed as well, just to be safe.

 

Edit: That save is now bugged, you need to start a new game. Use Nexus' "SKK Fast Start" to quickly start a new game and exit Vault 111. 👌

i can still play on the save right? but not do the commonwealth slavers quest? do i have to remove nuka ride and problems of the survivor on the new save? also the young vault girl path for nuka ride was bugged for me, i was stuck in the chair after the guys killed duke

 

edit: i cant use amputator cause i am on NG

amputator still gets rid of arms and legs on NG it just gives the warning that supf4se isnt installed. do i keep it or not?

Nah, if it's NG then don't use the amputator. It was just in case.

 

I wouldn't use that save where C. Slavers got bugged. Who knows what other problems it may bring.

 

When you are going to start a new game, start it with Slavers and the mods it needs. Do not overload it with other quests mod like Nuka Ride or Problem of Survivor. Neither Raider Pet nor any other mod that my main page asks you not to use to avoid conflicts.

Even if you install it (even though my main page tells you not to install it), you won't be able to use them. C. Slavers is a very restrictive quest mod that won't let you do anything else.

 

Install it as I tell you (as my main page tells you), without mods that will overload the start.

 

If you like this mod and finish it all the way, when you get your freedom, you'll be free to install Nuka Ride and Problems., if you want.
