It's like Fallout_Boy told you. And, if you lose the fight against the super mutant during "The Pit" there is a double surprise.

Thanks, boss man. I still appreciate your well-crafted mod and it has been a heck of a story so far, way better than vanilla at any rate. :)

could anyone help with why none of the scrips are happening please :') no animations or anything are triggering, i've gotten to the end of the laboratory part where you're meant to follow dwayne outside but hes just standing there and nothing is happening (the part before you wake up in the pillary)

From what I understand your character is trapped in the pillory. But the mod hasn't kicked the scene with Dwayne where he explains some things to you, right? 

 

 

My recommendation: Load an earlier save, before Dwayne starts running towards the farm. 

 

When your character is imprisoned, Dwayne has to be nearby. If he is far away, the scene will surely not kick. I'm going to add a script for the next maintenance update to secure that scene. 

 

In the meantime, it's best to load a previous save and make sure you and Dwayne are close at the time you are captured.

Would anyone be able to post a screenshot of their mod load order of the following, if anyone has it and is willing?
Only via MO2;
A CS only load order list including the hard requirements, specifically the order that the hards are in
A CS only load order list including hard+soft requirements, specifically the order that the hards and softs are in

I had this yesterday. This only happens if folks run far ahead of dwayne as soon as you locked in he stops moving and will be to far to talk to. The event does kick off tho. I just tfc'd and moved him to player and the dialogue kicks off.

I agree. The current options for abduction lack the.. style of something like this. But I am sure that would be a long undertaking for a modder to do. But it would be pretty cool if when you were abducted, and sent to a random camp, there was a selection of quests(not all of them, but just a few) that you would do to gain trust over your abduction to get close to the leader to kill 'em or seduce them, or maybe bargain with your body.. Who knows. 

 

I have said it before, but there is a lot of potential inherent of all these different mods, but sadly it seems rare for authors to really work together. If they did, they could probably make an all-in-one mod of sorts that included the good bits of each mod, while squashing issues and bugs and limiting the extraneous stuff. Personally, I want more dialog interludes like you find in Hardship in other mods' scenes, like Violate and abductions, etc. Like, you should be able to offer your mouth or ass or whatever for some food for AN76 or something like that, or just for some smokes. I feel like things like  FPE redux could be way less involved personally.

 

It is to dream, ya know. But oh well. I still appreciate all the hard work modders put into their work and I will enjoy them individually until they all unite into one big mod that does it all, heh.

Here are the solutions so far. 

 

  • Make sure Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Custom.Ini has use of preculled and precomined enabled ("1", not "0". 1 is the default value anyway.).
  • Do not use Scrap Everything. It is so far the only reported mod that changes your original Fallout4Custom.Ini values. 
  • Do not use bashed patches. Neither here nor in Nuka Ride.

Thank you for this great mod, JB. It's running perfect and I like the quests (the really many quests). It's a bit sad that the mod is finished since I was a bit longing for a visit from Father/Shaun like he did in Nuka Ride. But I like it also as it is now. Thanks heaps for the long and hard work ?

Check, check, and I have a patch for complex sorter but I don't think that would do anything.

 

If it wasn't clear in my screenshot, everything else in the whore house loads properly, it's just that the bed is placed outside the room bounds and I have to tcl to get to it.

First off let me say great work I was using the first version with no problem then uninstalled it to install the new version started a new game now when I leave the vault no one is waiting out side .

Remember that there are new hards requirements (and a handful of new softs requirements...). The mod will not start if you don't have at least the hards requirements installed. 

 

A quick and easy way to check this is to see if the Commonwealth Slavers MCM is active and functional. 

 

So check the requirements in the main post.

You're right, I thought it was the whole house but it looks like the WHouse is fine. I have no idea how the bed ended up there. 

 

Check the description of the modpos command.

 

Modify Object Position
  1. Open console with the ~ key.
  2. Type in: modpos {axis} {value}
More Details
AXIS
  • X - x axis - left / right
  • Y - y axis - forward / backward
  • Z - z axis - up / down
 
VALUE
  • +10 = adds 10 value
  • -10 = subtracts 10 value
 
COMBINATION
  • X +10 = goes left in 10 value
  • X -10 = goes right in 10 value
  • Y +10 = goes forward in 10 value
  • Y -10 = goes backward in 10 value
  • Z +10 = goes up in 10 value
  • Z -10 = goes down in 10 value

Hi, JB. I just wish to say that your writing is so magnificent, so nuanced and sensitive, so poetically human. I haven't reached the end of your new content in this mod yet (I had to pause for an emotional recovery, haha), but it's wonderful :)

Thank you, Karna. I appreciate it. It continues to amaze me how many like the plot and dialogue even though it is clearly broken in English.? ?

If you have nothing there then everything is correct.

 

Everything points to the fact that you have a mod that is modifying those values. Look for any ini file that you have installed in your Data folder that is modifying those values I told you about (like Commonwealth Slavers itself has its own ini, but for other stuffs).

 

So far Scrap Everything has been reported, but there could be more mods doing it.  

 

I think for the next update I will include the lines in my own ini. ?

Hello all,

i have the grafic glitch like in previous posts described as well.

 

I tested the settings for 

 

[Display]
bUsePreCulledObjects=0
[General]
bUseCombinedObjects=0

 

and

 

 [Display]
bUsePreCulledObjects=1
[General]
bUseCombinedObjects=1

 

Both settings to 0 - its my original Setting - i don't have any issues with it in my entire game - and i have more then 500 mods installed in the moment. Only in the Whore House....

 

If i change both settings to 1 - then i have in my entire game grafic glitches like in the Whore House. And additionaly - the glitchees in the Whore house are still there.

 

So changing the settings works - but did not help in the Whore house....

 

So in the moment i am confused....

 

I have 20 Playerhome mods - with all this mods i do not have any issues.....

 

So i don't have a clue what i can do in the moment.

 

But even with the glitches - the mod is well done ? Thanks for it - and i can still play it - only for screenshots - its impossible...

 

So if someone have an idea - let me know.

PS.: I had some issues with tables and seats in the whore house. I stucked between the wall and a table... but i opened the console and used modpos to move the table a little bit from the wall - that freed myself^^ - just in case someone has the same issue - use modpos^^

Well, I was born in Argentina before being moved to the U.S., so broken English is natural to me. This said, your English is not broken. It's better than most people who live in the U.S. :)

 

On a side note, FYI, dialogues with Gristle in the last few chapters are difficult in the Whore House because he's aggressive to all the slaves and keeps attacking them. As soon a dialogue pops up he breaks out of the dialogue to attack. I solve this by moving to a corner of the building where he doesn't see the slaves and then doing the "moveto player" to bring him to me followed by "stopcombat" commands. It's not a big deal, though it did cause my collar to run out of time and explode a few times *laughs* Fortunately the AAF Violate4's invulnerability has saved my life from that collar many, many times, haha. Another reason I die a lot is my character is a slow walker (sometimes very slow), and she often can't keep up with the people she's supposed to follow, especially when they run off to get into fights while we travel *laughs* But as I said, the AAF Violate keeps me more or less alive, haha.

 

As for the writing, though, your stories are poetical, and your characters are wonderful :) It's more than just plot (though the plots are fantastic). It's the sensitivity of human nature. Your characters are not black and white good and evil. They're real :)

That means you have a mod that requires them to be 0 and that will cause that. You will have to choose either use the mods that needs them to be at 0 or CS that needs them to be at 1. Drop your loadorder so we can have a look at mods you have installed. Might simply be a loadorder issue too
