The main reason is "presets", animations made based on the look of the characters in anime rigs have less than a 50% chance of matching across different presets, with the male's head/hands/No matter what either not touching them or going straight through them in different presets.
I also don't think it's a prerequisite that animations must rely on mods like SAM for accurate playback, unless AAF has similar functionality itself.

Hi Folks.
Any help appreciated with a couple of issues. 
1) My chacracter was assigned to visit the pit. She goes outside, and REAL handcuffs: hinged, are applied, and some sort of gag.
Gag appears to be the metalgear: cleave from Khiitzd, but nothing shows, although mouth is spaced as if gag inserted.

Testing other head gags/ropes from that mod etc, seems to work and display on face properly. 
Eventually getting access to the pip boy shows that item in my inventory, although not equipped. If I dump it out, it shows as a gag on a little stand (I assume as intended).

I just want to confim that its nothing from this mod's side, so I can check with the fetish equipment mod last. 

I have got the latest version of Khiitzds so I can select it to stop the animation, which mostly works. Would there be anything from this mod repeatedly attempting to apply this gag?
2) As I initially thought it applied a DD gag, and I couldnt get it unequppied, I uninstalled DD. Now, occasionally, I hear the collar tick start ticking faster, until, my character then catches fire, which is either tremendously horrifying (at the end of a beating etc, ), or hilariously brilliant timing, depending on the scene. No collar is showing in my inventory. Can anyone confirm I fugged up by removing DD?

I tried using the SetStage _CS_Runaway 410 command twice but I get a Fatal Error in the same place every time.

I also wonder if this quest was even tested because the chances that the Minutemen who find me in Concord have a really slim chance to survive. Minutemen are two and Raiders five or six of them. If Minutemen die, the quest is in dead end and there's nothing you can do.

 

I've loaded the game a few times, the first Minuteman dies within a few seconds.. the second one, if he's lucky, will survive... but when I talk to him he just says Hmm. or There's nothing to worry about.

The third time I tried to talk to him, he died himself... he just fell lifeless to the ground.

 

and at the moment I am unable to do anything. The waiting option is not available, so the minuteman cannot respawn.

I think there should be 6 minutemen for the quest to end safely... and only 1 of them stays in the basement with our protaghonist. The rest go out into the field

Ah yes, there is that unsolvable problem of infinite number of boobs size. One ugly solution is to morph the breast in xml until they match the preset used in animation. But each user has to tailor it by himself.

I find it even offensive to read this. I mean the only reason why the quest doesn't work must be because I didn't test it (??????).  you didn't even have buffout installed which is a requirement for AAF. It hasn't occurred to you to look at your mod list and try to see which mod may be causing a conflict. Of course this mod  is not without its faults, I keep getting this feeling that some people think I'm a game developer. 

 

I guess everyone who posts here to comment that they finished the mod on one of their routes must be a paid actor. Anything but user error.

I didn't think an adult could get offended by such a trivial reason.

 

To be clear, I didn't mean that the mod isn't tested, but that this quest thread isn't able to successfully proceed to the next phase.

Additionally, the mod has several paths, so not everyone can follow the same path.

 

As for Buffot, as I wrote, my FO4 works without a problem, and I didn't use it because it caused more problems than it was worth.

But so as not to stress you out in the future, I won't be active on your mod's forum.

hmm yeah your game is (probably) snafued by removing DD midgame.

best solution is start new game, but if you do remember exactly where it was in load order (both left and right panes if using MO2) you can 

reinstall it and put it back in that spot and roll back to a save prior to its removal and will be ok. the key here is it needs to be in the exact right spot

(the spot it was in) so that all it's (and any other mod that follows it) ids will be correct.

 

as for removal of DD or KFT items during game there is a section in MCM - CS - Cheats - down near the very bottom with a remove DD and a remove KFT option.

i am currently playing CS now but am not yet at The Pit and have had to use that to remove a gag 1 time.  most times i can work through gag talk (which is provided

by another mod) to progress. but knowing that the option to just remove them if i am stuck is nice.

I was able to do it, only ever had issue (while running minimum amount of mods) was the 3rd rubble cleaning

 

Adding in more mods have issue with the post Gristle scene (once he's taken you back) but then when i tried it again to get screen shots to explain the issue it worked fine

 

So has every possible route been tested with every possible mod combination? no as that's a silly expectation as there are shed loads of mods available for FO4

 

Looking at previous posts your not in the cage when Gristle is talking to the minutemen left in the base, you should be

 

You mention minutemen getting killed by raiders yet the quest path (on my game) has them encountering no raiders to fight

in addition, during the installation of CS you have the choice that Raiders are better armed. In addition I have Raider Overhaul WIP That's why I asked if it was tested, because I don't know what could be the reason that in the place where Minutemen spawn there is a group of 5-6 Raiders, armed with grenades, molotovs, shotguns and other machine guns, where Minutemen run around in flannel shirts with pipe guns.

I started the whole story from the beginning when Minutemen spawned next to me and then a moment later they were attacked by Raiders I used the console command Kill on each of the Raiders to see if I'll have the same problems with Gristle and those two Minutemen survived. And the whole quest went good.... I didn't have to type SetStage _CS_Runaway 410

Gristle came to me when I was in the cage to take me back to Corvega to punish me there. When it started loading I had a Fatal Error again so I started the game from the point where I was returning with the dog from Jared to Whore House and decided not to run away.

I'm currently at the point where I can replay every mission I've ever had.

 

If I knew that there were no Raiders where they spawn in Concord, Munuteman there would be no drama, but how am I supposed to know such things.
Anyway, the milk has been spilled and there is drama

Hey, yeah I had it come up there and a few other times. I was able to get past it by hitting Esc, saving the game and then just loading that save. Afterwards I was able to select a dialogue option.

 

Edit: There was one other time it happened near the end of the mod when I was put into stocks and the option to save was unavailable :(. To get past that one I had to use setstage to skip that dialogue

@LenaLachrymosa There should be no drama, no one has the energy for that. I did take it hard because this mod has been tested by a bunch of people for months and if I've uploaded it to Loverslab it's because I feel confident that it will work at least on a not so intensive mod list. 

 

And before that group of people tested it here in the forum, I personally tested it so many times that I had to take breaks of months in the span of a year because the mod is too rough/violent even for me. 

 

So, yeah, if someone tells me “has this even been tested??” I've had to gnash my teeth. 

 

I couldn't think of any other solution for your freezing but to skipe that section with this: 


SetStage _CS_Runaway 430

 

Which basically skips Gristle's punishment and goes to the end of the quest. 

 

I tell you this because this quest is kind of unavoidable. If you decided not to run away now, you will have another chance. You can decide not to run away but... who wouldn't try to run away?

Save and reload, for all I know it may be a problem with XDI that occasionally jumps (I don't know if you have that mod).

This mod is great, still going through it for the first time. I saw there's a recent update to both the quest and the voices, what's the best way to go about updating to the latest version in Vortex? Do I just remove the previous installation of both/delete archives and install the latest version and that should be fine?

Exactly, install it without fear, nothing will break or anything like that. Remove everything from the previous version, including old voices.

Possibly the highest quality mod out there , unfortunatly im only 7 jobs in " Stack the bodies on the rail dont waste my time and move Stack the bodies on the rail dont waste my time and move Stack the bodies on the rail dont waste my time and move Stack the bodies on the rail dont waste my time and move Stack the bodies on the rail dont waste my time and move " please for the love of god what am i meant to do here (propably my fault but would still appreciate the help ). Honestly just a skip mission command would help me i have no problem skipping that one

Just grab the bodies (they are marked) and send them to the marker on the rails. Put them neatly stacked together. Once you have finished that, talk to Medium Sized.

Yes man i know how to grab. I dont have any markers. Did i mess up with the warning mentioning the engine or smth?

OMG nevermind dude i have made a severe and continuous lapse of my judgement. ffs ( the game decided not to highlight my current quest lol apparently misc quest are more important

Thanks man sorry for wasting time ( btw a list of commands might help people in the feuture like i dont know how all that set stage stuff works or console tricks and stuff )
