It was related to the content of various mods hosted here. Content we allow in the name of not fetish shaming, but Patreon itself does not. I don't want to point fingers at specific mods for killing our Patreon account. So not much to say beyond that. But I will say I gladly defend those mods right to exist over making a bit more money on Patreon. So I don't consider it a big loss in the long run. LoversLab is built on the idea of not kink shaming, I'm not going to throw that away just for Patreon. 22
dt126 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Can anyone elaborate a bit more on the various membership tiers under Subscribestar? If there is another post that describes this in detail, please let me know. I realize that the $3 a month is just a tip jar, but is there any difference between the $5 and $10 per month tiers? I made the change from 5 to 10 but I don't see any difference in my profile and I don't understand if there is supposed to be any added benefit? It seems to indicate a forum badge and some added tech support, but how would I even go about accessing this? I've sent two DM's about this over the past few weeks but haven't received any response. Thanks if anyone can let me know.

While i don't have one of those google tells me Maestro is a brand of Mastercard so unless you do literally zero online shopping (hard to imagine in todays world) whatever card you use for that should allow you to sign up to subscribestar

It seems to indicate a forum badge and some added tech support, but how would I even go about accessing this At the moment there is no difference between the $5 and $10 besides access to a tech support channel on the Discord. I was originally planning to add a forum category for it as well but don't think it'll be active enough to be worth it. The forum badge hasn't been added yet, as I suck at graphic design and haven't been able to make anything worth using for it, so I need to find somebody to make one for me when I get a chance, but it hasn't been a priority unfortunately.
Tlam99 Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Suggestion for badge Same as internet icon (this heart) but different colors. silver, gold or filled with cognac instead water.

I'd continue paying an additional $5 a month to get a badge filled with cognac. I'd prefer real cognac, but I guess a digital badge will do.

Maestro is slowly being replaced by a more universal solution, but my card is still maestro. We have a digital banking system that is directly supported by almost all large payment providers and sites like patreon, amazon and ebay. In the rare cases where it's not directly supported I can generally still use it via paypal. I generally have no use for a credit card and I essentially never need to make online purchases by directly filling in my card details. I'm more than willing to support the site, but I really don't want to have to jump through payment hoops to do it when 99.5% of the rest of the internet manages to support my means of payment without issue. I'll take a look at boosty, suggested below, but this is really something that subscribestar needs to solve. 1
xKnallAnder Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 I suppose I can answer that question myself but currently, is there any way of supporting LL without owning a credit card?

Subscribestar accepts only credit cards. Do not worry too much, we appreciate your willing also if you cannot actually send some money to support the site.
yukitokuroya Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 There is also Skrill. You don't need to link your card directly to SubscribeStar.

They will be removed without doing anything else. If you are in a particular hurry you can try PMing Ashal but it is usually easier (and faster) to contact her by going on the LL Discord server and contacting her there. She is know there as eevee.

I apologize for my impatience. I've been a user/peruser/supporter of LoversLab for several years, and know Ashal and the rest of the Staff are very busy people creating/supporting/maintaining this work of art.
