5anctuary Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Does sex in game add anything or is it just for the ride? Best thing about Lover's comfort mod was... well it added Lover's comfort effect.
Ambereros Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Does sex in game add anything or is it just for the ride? Best thing about Lover's comfort mod was... well it added Lover's comfort effect. Use sexlab util (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18950-sexlabutil1/) to tweak the effects of sex : it can for instance calm you agressor, or your victim, or buff/debuff etc ... ... and many many options (none activated by default though) so you can tune your own vision of a lovers comfort, rapers comfort, victims comfort, or whatever
dkatryl Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Does sex in game add anything or is it just for the ride? Best thing about Lover's comfort mod was... well it added Lover's comfort effect. Directly from my mod, consensual sex improves NPC's RelationshipRank with the player by +1 each time, to a max of 4. The benefits of that are whatever benefits Skyrim grants to such, like not being treated as trespassing, more cordial greetings, etc. Beyond that, my mod does nothing, it's all just for the lulz. Nonconsensual, well, their rank is automatically lowered to -2, so, again, you do it for the lulz!
anberlin09 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Im having issues with this mod. I downloaded it, upzipped it and placed it in my Data folder but when I try to open it in NMM it says "SexLab Submit can't be added". When Im in-game I can hear the sound effects by they just stand there facing each other. Any help? I've refreshed the FNIS with each attempt. Are there other mods it's not compatible with such as Animated Prostitution?

Submit is a Sexlab framework mod, it needs the framework to operate and it doesn't really add animations or sounds or anything. If you're seeing the submit topics in dialogue, something in your sexlab installation is messed up, although cannot be added probably means you haven't installed Sexlab at all, and Submit can't get the file dependencies (because the files aren't there).

I'm pretty sure I installed SexLab correctly... I think. Other mods work just fine such as Animated Prostitution. SexLab Sumbit comes up ingame in the MCM and the dialogue is there they just stand infront of each other making noises.
dkatryl Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 It should be as simple and straightforward as manually extracting the contents of the .7z file into your data folder and running Skyrim with SKSE. If you have a shit ton mods, especially if you are over the magic 128 mod count, I would recommend putting it high in your load order due to the amount of scripts Submit has. But that isn't as important if you only have a few dozen mods like I have. I don't use NMM or any mod managers, so I have no idea how it reacts to those, but they really aren't necessary, because installation is really just as simple as extracting 3 files from a .7z to your /Data folder. Updating is as simple as doing the same and allowing it to overwrite the previous. There are no known Sexlab mods that Submit conflicts with directly, and only indirectly with Defeat and/or SD if you use the auto surrender function and set the limit too close to the other(s) and you potentially have multiple scripts trying to control the PC. What you are describing, actors standing there, no animations, sounds suspiciously like the FNIS user tool was not run, or it just wasn't ran successfully and maybe had an error in the output log.

Completely separate mod. SL has some of AP's animations included (and modified to work with SL), and both require FNIS. However, AP and SL are completely separate mods.

Hmm well. I have FNIS running and it says the usual SexLab... stuff. I'm obviously just terrible with anything computer related it seems. So i download the two files. Extract them using using 7-zip and place them in the Data folder. Run FNIS and launch Skyrim through SKSE. I deleted SexLab Framework and re installed it yet still nothing. Something I'm missing?
dkatryl Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 At this point, I would recommend making sure your Sexlab Framework install is good, because it sounds like you are having issues there. Download SL Matchmaker, which is basically just a debug/proof of concept mod for the Framework, and run it. If you can run that and animations play properly, then Submit should work correctly.

AtTheNunnery Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I can't ever seem to surrender to someone I've hit. Here's what happens: My character gets the three punches in the face. He ragdolls. He stands up, and then kneels down, restrained. Then, just a few seconds later, he stands up again, and the words 'You have loosened out of your restraints!' or something like that pops up. My enemy then does whatever he was doing before I hit him. Did I install something wrong? What's going on?

AtTheNunnery Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 1. Do you also have Defeat or some slave mod installed? 2. Does Matchmaker work normally? I removed the WIP Skyrim Slavery System mod, and nothing changed. Matchmaker works properly. I don't have Defeat installed, and I don't think anything I have conflicts with Submit.
AtTheNunnery Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Wait - A save with a different character works fine. Thing is, that character's from an older save. ...I'm confused. EDIT: Apparently, I can be raped by normal enemies, but I don't get raped by NPC's I attack and then surrender to. Is this normal? If it is, is there any way to change it?

Civilians (being normal people living in towns and villages) as well as guards do not rape your character. Only enemy mobs like bandits and the like do that. I'm afraid it's not a bug, it's a feature xP

Civilians (being normal people living in towns and villages) as well as guards do not rape your character. Only enemy mobs like bandits and the like do that. I'm afraid it's not a bug, it's a feature xP Pretty much. I find the idea of the mild manner, law abiding civilians to turn around and rape the PC in the middle of the street about as silly as the player being able to do the same thing with no consequences. However, that being said, http://www.creationkit.com/IsInInterior_-_ObjectReference allows you to check to see if the player is inside. So, I'll change it so that so long as you are *INSIDE* a building or some sort, we'll assume you are away from the prying eyes of guards, and then, sure, that civilian can show their naughty side. Edit: Tested and seemed to work. Civilian on the street just smacks you, civilian inside a house smacked then raped.
dkatryl Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 Also, broke up the Victim dialogs a bit to address the Follower option that was getting truncated. After the initial NPC submit process, when you get the "Now what should I do with you?" option, there will be a follow up that will have 2 options: "I'm done with you" vs "I'm not done with you" The former will have the Bounty, Kill, and Release options. The latter will have the Rape, Rob, Follower options. This keeps each group small enough to not get options truncated. Tested and seems complete. I'll have this plus the change in the previous post up later today.
dkatryl Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 02NOV13, ~1555CST: Revised player surrendering to civilians. If done indoors, the civilian NPC will fully rape/rob the player just like they were a bandit. If done outside, they will just smack the player a few times as it currently works. Broke up the dialog to NPC victims into a "I'm done with you" and a "I'm not done with you" group to help with the options that were being truncated. I wasted a full fucking hour trying to update the changelog on the main page because it kept fucking the formatting up, and despite it looking correct in the editor window, it was all fucked up after I finished. So, I removed the entire changelog from the main post because I am tired of fighting with the site's formatting hiccups.
Teruke Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 after someone submits, let's say you go with robbing the npc first, then if you talk to him again there'll be the "have another go" option, which isn't correct since there was no couchi couchi involved yet... just saying

At any rate, it's been like that for months, because I don't really care enough to worry about something that trivial. Just saying.
Teruke Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 thus he said and the ground at their feet began to quake, the sky darkned, but only for a bit... and then they went and ordered pizza
