I play with a controler. is there any way to set up the submit shouts/powers so that they can be triggered by the regular shouts/powers button? while my controler is plugged in my keyboard doesn't work with the game an it is extremely tedious to switch them back and fourth

Not sure what your setup is like but I can use Mod hotkeys (i.e set in MCM) on my keyboard while playing with a controller. You just need to unplug the controller when you select the hotkeys in the MCM menu and plug the controller back in when you're ready to play.

If the keyboard is not nearby when you play you will need to remap the controlmap.txt file in Skyrim\Data\Interface\Controls\PC directory.

I have uploaded the file I created for myself

Custom Controller.rar

The LS and D pad buttons are not mapped to anything so you can set one of those  as the submit button or any other mod hotkey you want.

I usually use the 4 dpad buttons for SkyUI hotkeys

LB or Sprint works like a shift key. It will still make your character sprint though. But you will have too stop sprinting to use the  X, Y, B keys for their normal functions otherwise you will open menus in mid flight.

Sneak = B

Inventory = LB + B (back button will switch to magic)

Magic = LB + X

Map = LB + Y

Favorites = back

Wait = LB + back

Tween Menu = LB + start (4 axis menu with Skills, Inventory Magic etc.)

Otherwise everything should work as before.

It's not perfect but it was the only way I was able to make a controller work with Submit

You can edit the controlmap.txt to your tastes if you like.

how is the gender sorting and script load of this mod? last time i use it gay animations played, and im comparing the script load to defeat.

Use the original version from the OP and it's far, far heavier script load. Find the patched version and it's reduced a lot but still higher.

Beyond that, the author has been gone for a long time and it probably hasn't changed since the last time you tried it.

Welcome to Lovers Lab.

Do you have the Sexlab Framework installed and have you gone into its MCM menu and enabled it?

Do you have any other mods that allow sex (via the Sexlab Framework) installed and if so do they work?

yes, I enabled submit mod ( actually it was already enabled when I installed it....but of course i checked it :D)

and also yes, i tried other mods and they worked well.....well, except the prison overhaul. could it be the problem?

The situation is, whenever i trigger the arrest, everything goes perfect until I get to the cell.

While staying in there, jailer often comes to my character and fuck as punishment.....and my character never get along with the jailer.

Jailer's movement and pose is good, but my character just stand still until the scene is finished.

Oh, and when npc whips me, there's no whip mark on my character's body. I tried many thing but nothing happened.....funny thing is,

this whip mark appears when I whip others.

When I use the FNIS program and update the behavior, it ends its progress and says there's 2 warnings.

This appeared when I first installed only two mods - sexlab framework and prison overhaul.

And adding other mods doesn't change the number.

hmm...maybe i have to delete the prison overhaul mod and try again.

Thank you for your reply. :D

I have a reproducible issue! (Yay!)

Some hours into a brand new save, I've been having trouble with submitting to various opponents - human and otherwise.

Now, neither automatic nor manual submit are working with both Drelas and a hagraven.

On surrender button press, they go non-hostile for a couple seconds, don't accept surrender, and go back to hostile.

How the heck do I troubleshoot this?

Update:

Issue appears confined to sexlab 1.62

Remember, submit hasn't been updated in quite a while, and some creatures are not supported.  Look in the MCM for Submit where you set the creature support and you'll see a list of creatures when you highlight/hover over the setting.  It's not a problem with 1.62, it's that creature support in Submit is limited.

Get Defeat, it's amazing.

Defeat is very good, but unfortunately I've run into 2 very bad issues with the current version that made me remove it from my load order.

1)  When trying to save a game in certain areas, I would CTD before the save even executed.  This is a full save, not a quick save or auto-save.  Now this issue may be related to a combination of mods - I use immersive patrols, the "populated" series that increases npcs, etc.  I noticed that in areas with increased NPCs, specifically imperial/stormcloak combats (probably from immersive patrols), the CTD would happen IF Defeat's NPCvsNPC option is on.  If I turned that option off, I never saw that particular CTD again.

2)  This one seems to be Defeat-specific.  Normally I NEVER see the "teleport to the middle of the map in mid-air" issue when initiating sex with SexLab that others have seen.  I started seeing this issue out of the blue - EVERY sex animation teleported.  I traced it back to a scene where PC is defeated.  When defeat kicked in (PC was defeated) the PC began stripping the NPC.  It should have been the other way around - PC should be stripped by the NPC (the victor).  Then instead of the rape happening, the PC regain the ability to continue the combat and the PC won.  From that exact point on, any sex animation triggered the teleport.  Replicated that multiple times and it happened every time.  If the PC wins the combat outright (Defeat never kicks in), any following sex scenes worked fine.

I love Defeat and had both mods in my load order for a long time (only used Submit for seduction, not for rape or combat rape).  I hope Goubo will soon fix the current issues with Defeat.

The teleporting doesn't bother me that much, it used to happen even when I didn't have Defeat. Imo defeat is an essential mod if you have sexlab installed. The issues you're having aren't that big, if the bug when you get defeated happens, just reload an earlier save, and even if playing with NPCvs NPC disabled there are still a lot of features that Defeat has that makes it worth having.

Let me clarify on the teleporting issue (because it is a big problem).  This is not the "teleport somewhere then teleport back before the sex starts and everything is OK".  Or the "drop through the floor then pop back to where you were" issue.  In this case:  just after the undressing animation starts, you teleport to the giant camp near Whiterun (center of the map), then levitate up WAY above the giant camp, have sex with your partner at that height, then drop like a stone (or a mammoth) after the sex scene and both the PC and the partner (or just the PC if masturbating) die.  Not really a minor issue, is it?

And both of these started with the newest version.  When Goubo puts out a new version, I'll pop it back in and use.  But these 2 issues ARE game-breaking in my opinion.

I'm not trying to convince you to use the mod, but you said that bug happened after some defeat scene went wrong. Reloading an earlier save when that happens again to avoid the teleportation bug seems like good compromise for the fun this mod brings. I hope Guobo finds and fixes the bug if it truly is caused by defeat as I haven't had this problem myself.

Though that bug happened to me once when I was doing a Bestial Essence quest, when I was supposed to fuck a horse, but I didn't have Defeat installed at the time.

Yes - most telling was I rolled back (badly) to 1.61 (e.g. I get the Unsupported Downgrade proceed at own risk warning) and it worked immediately.

You're not going to convince me to use or not use Defeat (or any other mod for that matter).  My own testing and playing is the only convincing I ever need.  Yes, it was just after "some defeat scene went wrong".  I went back to the save right before the battle (luckily I had a save right before the combat), and the results were the same every time (and I am talking about 15+ tries):  If Defeat got involved in the scene at all (in other words, my PC lost) the scene was immediately compromised and the teleport issue started.  If I won the battle, defeat was never involved and future sex scenes work perfectly.  Kind of "defeats" one of the purposes of having the mod, doesn't it?  (Sorry, bad pun...)

So "Reloading an earlier save when that happens again to avoid the teleportation bug seems like good compromise for the fun this mod brings" makes it kind of useless to have defeat if to "avoid the teleportation bug" I have to reload and WIN the battle every time.  I can do that without defeat.

I wasted my time talking to you, I guess it's my own fault, you say in your own signature "Your opinion means as much to me as a festering bowl of dog snot.".

It's funny, you play with mods that add tons of NPCs but because of that, mods that add interactions with the NPCs don't work cause there are too many NPCs and the game chokes. Nice philosophy for modding bro.

Oh, I value people's opinions.  However, MY opinion is what matters in the end, just as YOUR opinion should be the only thing that matters to you in the end.  The only reason, I don't care about your opinion is this case is because your opinion is basically "ignore the errors that cause Defeat to be useless (2 of the three main features I use - PC as Victim and NPC/NPC - both cause BAD issues when both features worked FLAWLESSLY in previous versions for those 2 features), just use it anyway!"  Uuhhmmm, no.  I'll try it again when Defeat is updated, but I'm not using something that causes frustration regardless of how much "fun this mod brings".

I see you have a "selective reading" problem.  I said very clearly, that I NEVER had either issue before the latest version of Defeat.  The previous versions worked perfectly fine in both cases with the same multi-NPC mods installed.   Let me restate this:   NEITHER issue ever occurred for me in previous versions of Defeat using the same set of multi-NPC mods.  I originally starting using defeat with the 5.3b3 (or whatever the beta version) and it always worked fine with Immersive Patrols, "Populated" series, etc.  In fact the main reason I started using Defeat was to use it's NPC on NPC settings to watch the imperial/thalmor vs stormcloak battles descend into a rape orgy - definitely made them decidedly less boring :P .  You should have seen the orgy that happen at the spot near the vampire cave (on the road to Karthwasten) - everywhere you looked - cocks and tits and ass - Oh My!!!  And I could save without any issue - UNTIL the latest version.

As for a "Nice philosophy for modding bro", I think my "philosophy" to stop using a mod that is obviously causing me a problem when the previous versions did not, IS "nice".  I won't comment on your "philosophy" of closing your eyes, sticking your fingers in your ears, going "la-la-la-la" and pretending a issue isn't problem by "Reloading an earlier save when that happens again to avoid the teleportation bug seems like good compromise for the fun this mod brings"...

Oops, guess I did...

Good day.

You should have stuck with the version that worked. It's childish giving up on a working mod because the latest version doesn't work, downgrade bro.

Anyways, you're pretty naive if you believe all the mods should work with no problems, all of them have one issue or another including sexlab having random crashing. That's the essence of modding, working around the problems.

When I get an NPC to submit all they do is fall down, get up, and become inhostile.. What am I missing? I have all the requirements listed for this mod, sexlab submit, and I'm running it on a new save that auto-installed sexlab during the carraige ride. I'm guessing that I'm forgetting to do something that isn't explicitly listed here but that I should know how to do anyways. Whatever it is that I'm missing, I don't know what it is ><

I am using a STEP extended mod setup - does that create a conflict here? (Edit: probably not a problem, read the below edit)

I am using SexLabFramework v162 and SexLab Submit 01SEP1 1133

Thanks

Edit: I made a new Mod Organizer profile and disabled almost everything except for sexlab framework, sexlab submit, xp32m, FNIS, male/female nude skins, SKSE, SkyUI, and hdt. I still have the same symptom ingame: when female NPCs submit to my male char they just fall down for a few seconds, get up, and then heal to full and carry on with their business. I did install sexlab through MCM. Hmm... what could I be missing?

New Edit: Looks like factions were getting in the way of submit. I tried it on some bandits and now I get the submit dialogue. Now my problem is that when the animation starts my char and the bandit just stand still, stiff as boards, with their arms stretched out to their sides. What does this mean is going wrong?

That indicates a failure to run the FNIS Generator program after installing animations OR a run of FNIS that was not successful.

If you just failed to run it then running it should fix the problem, if it doesn't fix the problem or you did already run it then please run it again and copy the TEXT from the output window in FNIS and post it here, we can help you figure out why it failed and get you going.

I had swapped to an older version of sexlab submit for that test where the animations weren't playing, I had changed to sexlab submit 21may15 1051. Changing back to 1133 has caused the animations to start playing successfully. It looks like everything is working now! I had already run FNIS while installing sexlab but I see how my symptoms made it strongly seem like FNIS was to blame.

Thank you for the reply!

You don't want to use that version, here's an updated version: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19709-sexlab-submit-01sep14-1133/?p=1091849

The reason you want to update is in that post.

Hello, I'm not sure if the mod author is still working on this mod or not but I saw some issues/bugs.

1st – Submit on Bandit Chief does not work properly

After I use my shout to get bandit chiefs to surrender, they initially say “I yield / I surrender” and then start walking around as if they are friendly NPCs. When I talk to them, they just do a generic response like “need something”. No dialog option becomes available. This happened to all bandit chiefs I encountered.

2nd- Wait function does not work properly most of the time

After I make an NPC (usually a bandit or a vampire) to surrender, I tell to wait for me because I need to clear out the current cave/dungeon first before I sell them to the guards. However, when I comeback, they become a friendly NPCs with no additional dialog options. I can’t interact with them other than outright killing them with my weapon/magic.

Those are the major problems I saw with the mod.

Otherwise I wish there is some kind of jail system instead of guards instantly killing the bandits on the street. I think it’s weird to have random guard to pay me and kill the bandit as soon as I hand over. Is there any way to make them to travel to the prison and maybe spend a day or two before getting executed? Really wish that is an option. (kind of like a lite version of paradise halls?)

I know this mod is really old and the game is even older, but I still primarily use this to role play an aggressive male hero. I think this is better than defeat in a way that it allows to actually converse with your foes instead of a menu system.  Still I am not sure if anyone is still working on this but please let me know if someone is still updating this mod.

Thanks

I know this is an old mod and unlikely to get a response, but I could use a hand...

I installed this mod and everything works fine, except that my opponent's never accept my surrender.  If I try to manually submit I get "Invalid Target, Target automatically resists."
Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?

That message is only displayed when trying to make the target submit. not when you are trying to submit to the target.
