If all other Submit features work correctly but only the deathproof surrender option is not working then most likely you're using another mod that alters the event management of the death/bleedout state. I don't know if the mod is compatible with "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life" but since it's not mentioned on the front page then I assume they are incompatible. It would most likely also be incompatible with other similar mods like "No Death mod", "SM Essential Player" and "Dragon Souls - Death is Overrated" so if you're using any of those mods that is the likely cause of your problem.

If other Sexlab mods work correctly but Submit doesn't on a cleaned game or a new game, then something is conflicting. Figuring out what that is could be quite... time consuming and it may not even be an obvious mod. So it would be up to you to figure it out if you wanted to go to the trouble

Thank you Destynova. I also have issues with Submit, and I think that maybe they (Submit, Defeat) both conflict with SM essential player, which I used before, when no Death was not guaranteed by neither (Submit, Defeat).

By the way do these two mods still work well together? (S,D)

Edit: The stay down problem comes from Defeat.. Something must be conflicting with Submit cause it's hardly working in my setup.

 I've run into a bit of a problem with the latest version of Submit. The "Death proof" thingy doesn't seem to work properly for me. When the health bar goes to 0 I enter infinite knocked down state.  I don't die and don't get raped.  I can't move, but i can enter inventory and all that, equip armor, spells and all the rest of it. Other than that nothing happens. I tried to test it by falling from somewhere - same thing, which is rather surprising since as i am given to understand Submit should not even work in such cases. I removed Submit along with other Sexlab mods and the framework itself - to no avail. When i create a new game - everything works fine - i get killed same as always, so the reasonable assumption is that i have loose scripts in the save game. I tried deleting every single one related to Sexlab i could find but nothing seems to work. Any Ideas? What's the exact script i am looking for?

Uninstall instructions for removing Submit is to uncheck the deathproof surrender option first. Deactivating the mod from the MCM menu probably wouldn't hurt either. THEN you can uncheck it or uninstall it, otherwise it leaves the "no death, only bleedout state" option on with no way to remove it and no way to handle it once entered.

 I've long since known that the best solution is always the most obvious one, but damn. That actually worked. I guess i was being a moron on this one.

Thank you for the helpful advice.

i am not sure where it comes from but sometimes my character stays on the ground forever, waiting for another turn which never happens.. To unstuck I teleport to a random city (coc whiterun)

Both Submit and Defeat will conflict with "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life", "No Death Mod", "SM Essential Player, and "Dragon Souls - Death is Overrated" because they all try to modify what happens after the "Player's health is reduced to 0" event. Death Alternative is a framework that Sanguine Debauchery and Xax's Prison Overhaul hooked in to but I believe this was only possible because they added new events to the "upon blackout" event since Death Alternative is a framework mod. I assume that Submit could possibly me made to hook in to Death Alternative, letting the Death Alternative framework handle the "NPC does not accept your surrender, your wounds are mortal" event but that's conjecture on my part.

I'm reasonably sure that you can use Submit with one of the "death alternative" type mods above if you turn off the "auto surrender" and "death proof surrender" options in Submit so that you're only using Submit for it's other features (if you still want the PC to be raped on defeat you would just manually submit when your health gets very low but not in bleedout). But leaving those options on would cause Submit and whichever of those mods you have to fight for control of handling the "player defeated" event... which is why the PC will get locked up when they enter bleedout.

I've read that Submit and Defeat can be used together... you may have to turn certain options off in one or both of them to make them play together more smoothly. I can't personally comment on this because I have never used Defeat but I'm sure there are other replies in both this thread and Defeats on the best way to get them to play together.

I have been running Sexlab Submit and Death Alternative together for a while now, and I've always had the Auto Submit and Death Proof Surrender functions of Submit disabled.  So far, the two mods work together just fine like that.

If those two options are not unchecked, things get weird and neither mod works quite right (basically DA breaks).

not sure if this has been requested before, but perhaps we could have some more follower commands for npcs that have submit? Just basic things like wait here, follow me etc. Maybe add some sort of slavery aspect, add more dimensions to npc submission.

Still a great mod, just that the last few updates have been focused towards pc submission, was hoping for more work on npc submission.

EDIT: nvm I just found the "stay here" command lol.

So I have the 'auto-submit' and 'death-proof' disabled but my character still keeps auto surrending when the HP reaches 0.

I don't want auto surrender. Any advice?

That should have done it... hmm... maybe try unchecking the "Mod Active" option, exit the menus and wait a minute then turn it back on? It might be enough to force the game to acknowledge the new settings. If that doesn't work, try doing a clean save without the mod checked in your mod manager then re-enable it to see if that fixes it. Make sure you use a savegame cleaner on your save before reactivating Submit.

ReInstalled the whole game and mods and yet my character keeps auto surrending, even though it is a whole new game not a save.

Edit. I guess I got it working now.

Do you have any trouble having sex scenes from any other mod, or by using the seduction options from Submit? Do you have Rape Content Active toggled on under Submit?

Does anyone else have an issue with Serana or Jarls like Elisif?  The option used to appear but stopped appearing for me some versions ago.  I don't see a flag that would do that.

Don't know about Serana, but to get the seduction dialog with jarls, you have to be a thane AND have a relationship rank of at least 2,  So if you've done something to lower the relationship rank with the jarl, then the seduction dialog would go away.  You can use the console to check your relationship rank with the jarls.

Pretty sure I didn't do anything to lower the rank unless some mod messed up but I suppose I'll go check.

Also, make sure that your Submit sexuality is properly set.  If this is changed, this could make the dialog go away - if female PC and jarl is female and Submit sexuality is set to hetero, then the dialog will go away.

I've also had an issue when strating a new game where the dialogs were appearing for everyone even though I had set hetero when I started up (Male PC, hetero setting, Male NPCs were getting the dialog).  In that case, I just turned Submit off then back on in the MCM (there is a disable/enable type option, top left of the list - didn't have to do a save, just click off, then immediately click back on).  You might try this to reset it and see if that works.

When you talk to someone they'll have a dialogue option "Hold up a moment, There is something I want to discuss with you". That leads into the seduction activity.

You didn't install the Sexlab Framework (see Requirements)

Or you didn't install FNIS (see Requirements for the Sexlab Framework)

Or you didn't run the the FNIS User Generator program after installing the Sexlab Framework

Or you used Nexus Mod Manager to install the Sexlab Framework and didn't turn off the default option it has to exclude readme files

Or you didn't resolve error messages that came up when you ran the FNIS User Genrator program

One or more of those should be the fix(es) that get you some in game sex action going. If not we'll try again.

Sexlab framework,FNIS installed

FNIS generator was run after installation,  "933 animations for 6 mods successfully included (character)
 307 animations for 1 mods and 17 creatures successfully included.
 1 Warning(s)."

Does the warning count as error or is that ok?

i go to settings and uncheck 'dont extract readme files' and re installed sexlab and submit and defeat

nothing change. what am i doing wrong?

Does the FNIS Generator display Sexlab Framework as a mod it found animations for? If it doesn't there is a problem with its install.

Apparently the relationship rank was lowered for some reason. O_o Weird but that was the issue.  Going to check on Serana for that, too, just in case something got messed up there, too.

Make sure you're running FNIS for Users with administrator privileges. Also, try installing Matchmaker and using the "Irresistible attraction" spells to start a sex scene. If you can have sex using the Matchmaker spells but not Submit through the seduction dialogues then that would narrow it down to your Submit install. You might just have to deactivate the mod then reactivate it.

By the way, any time you add, remove, update, etc any mod that FNIS lists when it runs (or would list when it runs), you need to run FNIS again. If you still can't get it to work, enable papyrus logging if you haven't already, load up the game, try to initiate a sex scene with Submit. Wait about 30 seconds or so, giving it enough time that whatever is failing will show up, then exit the game and post your papyrus log. Also post your load order under a spoiler tag.

If your papyrus logging isn't enabled then go into your skyrim.ini file and add the following down at the bottom:

[Papyrus]

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

Then the next time you run Skyrim your papyrus log will be in \My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script. Upload the one called Papyrus.0.log it'll be the one generated most recently.
