I'm having this same problem. But not only with that quest, With the Reldith/Ennis quest as well. I really like to have quests be cleared, and removed from my quest list when I've finished them. Now I have two quests permanently stuck on my quest-list.... Is there anything I can do to complete/remove them? A Command or something?|

Also. Quests do not end in failure, or at all, if the target character is dead. Which is another way you can end up with quests forever stuck on your quest list.

Finally, I'm having an issue trying to turn in the creature quests. The quest marker for the npc to turn them into keep pointing to a person in Riften. Instead of the person you need to talk to in order to turn in the quests.

I'm surprised these kinds of bugs have been left in the mod, given how many updates it has. I have been enjoying it, having a lot of fun. But these are irritating problems for me. >.<;

The only way I am aware of to force-complete quests: find the quest name with the help of SSEEdit. Then use for example "completequest thenameofthequest".

I did find out that if I used the "ShowQuestTargets" command. I could find the id for the quest. Then use the "CompleteQuest" command to finish the quest. Though this only really works if you don't have a ton of quests. I had to do a lot of quests first before the first command could show me the ones I wanted.

How do I do the missives that require you to "service" a summoned unit. For instance, a horse at the stables. I start the Q and horse appears and all I can do is ride it (in the traditional sense) but there don't seem to be other interaction options. Now there's a horse permanently stuck in the house for my entire playthrough.

I looked in my papyrus log and upon every game-load there is about 70 of these repeating errors with DD Quests. They seem to stop after the inital flood, but is there a way to solve these and prevent them from occuring? it could likely speed up load for people with weaker machines.

I also noticed missive boards end up with 2 or more copies of every currently posted dirty deeds missive - is this intentional?

Having a weird issue where selecting the option with Farangar just freezes the game, does this happen to anyone else?

 

EDIT: Found the issue, this mod isn't the cause of it. Moved PapyrusUtil below Sexlab, and moved my physics mods down to the bottom (high priority) and it seemed to fix the issues.

Running into issues where selecting companions, shows the notification "move to a nice area while your client prepares" I don't know where it is trying to tell me to move. I found the same with animals. I try interacting with them again, but after I do this it just shows vanilla questions.

It doesn't matter, it basically says the message has been accepted. The activation time depends on what animation the NPC/Creature is trying to perform.

Figured some stuff out. Looks like I had sleeping with creatures disabled (different MO2 profile to select) but I also found that I had to be female to sleep with the companions. Being male resulted in them transforming and doing nothing. When I used another mod's command for creatures it said "the werewolf didn't know what to do" not sure if it is something known or if I have something messed up.

When you have many mods, configuring them all correctly is not easy. The important thing is to have identified the source of the problem. If you can (not all mods allow this), export the configurations, so that in case of a new game, you will already have them ready.

I didn't fully "identify" the source. it seems to be working for animals, but the companions seem to only be able to initiate a scene with a female dragonborn. I will keep playing with it.

Expansion 2: Followers

I've been asked to provide more features for players who prefer to play as straight males in-game. Previously, the mod expected you to play as a Female character.

So, a little over half or so of the quests in this mod work. I have been having the same issue as others with some quests and trying to debug the Farengar quest in xedit. I have found out that the quest itself doesn't start (the objective will appear in your main dd_q0 quest, but the dd_q2 quest itself doesnt begin), even if you attempt to start it manually in the console, which suggests there is something wrong with the way the quest is designed, but I cannot figure out what it is.

How hard would it be to convert this to be purely Missives-based? No overarching dragon souls quest, no instantly filling the missive board, just some extra radiant quest variants in the mix.

creature interactions aren't working... i successfully calm or charm a creature but the dialogue does not appear, would like some help here.

My mod needs DialogueFollower quest's Alias 0 to be set to the actor you want in the scene. It's possible, and likely, that if you have multiple followers with Nether's, that your primary follower isn't present, and therefore the scene starts with just the solo male, because Sexlab simply checks if they are in the cell before starting the scene, rather than teleporting them.

If there is a solo male animation playing, my suspicion is that the game doesn't have your Nether's Follower registered as the primary follower.

 

Leaving this message here so that people who have the same issue get a resolution.

 

If you are using Nethers Follower Framework, and Dirty Deeds, but your followers are not performing, do this:

 

To get followers to perform, Nethers Follower Framework must recognize that follower in the “Game Slot”

Open NFF in MCM, go to the “Slots and History” Tab. On the right, choose the follower you want, and click on “Send to Game Slot”. Close MCM. Reopen MCM and confirm that follower has been assigned to Game Slot, and if yes, you are good to go. Only the follower currently assigned the "Game Slot" will perform as part of Dirty Deeds. If you want another follower to perform, follow the same steps and move them to the Game Slot using NFF MCM.
