As PapyrusUtil and JC don't have ESPs all you need to do is move them in the Left Pane so that they are at the bottom of your Mods list (i.e. have the highest priority numbers)

You shouldn't see a red - in the conflicts column for them (a green + is fine)

ok thanks for the help ill let you know if this helps

PapyrusUtils is part of Sexlab.  Normally, Sexlab has the latest version, unless stated otherwise, especially with AE.  Maybe your PapyrusUtils standalone is breaking PapyrusUtils included with sexlab.   As a troubleshooting step, Disable Papyrusutils and move sexlab to the end and any patch like Sexlab Plus if you use it.  Do not forget new requirement for AE version, Address Library for SKSE Plugins.

ok i've done what you told me to do but still no change theres still nothing in the json files but i did notice something i noticed that FNIS could access its json files i don't know why that one can and follower slavery cant which should mean that PapyrusUtils is working right and that something else is stopping follower slavery from working properly anyway im still hoping one of you guys or girls can help me solve this problem thanks

Ok - then the next thing to do is post a script log of you using the FSM mcm to audit the owners - this should show any errors being generated by attempting to read the owners json

Ok ill do that but im sorry for asking if this is like obvious or somthing but how would i go about doing that like i said previously ive only just started playing with mods on pc recently so im not knowledgeable on how to do things like this yet so how would go about doing this. Does it have somthing do to do with running script in the owners and outfit sections because i have done that before but i had no idea how to bring the reports up to have a look at them

As said a few posts above, one of my favourite mods! Just one little thing I'm wondering about. Yesterdays my follower was enslaved by a hunter (for some reason she got into a fight with him after we had been attacked by some bandits - maybe she hit him accidently and upset him ) . Got her back via dialog and paying 500 coins. Some time later had several trouble with various other encounters, but instead of helping me she ran away cowardly. Normally she's a brave and good fighter (confidence = 3) and only flees from very strong enemies. After I wiped out the enemies alone, I checked her confidence and it was set to 0.

Some times ago had a similar problem. I didn't see a direct correlation with FSM at that time, but now as it happened again directly after my follower had been enslaved, I wonder wether FSM  changes the confidence value intentionally and "forgets" to restore it after the follower is set free again.

Actually that's pretty immersive. After the follower was enslaved and played with, it left mental scars and trauma, so now everytime the follower has to fight, the possibility of going through that ordeal again makes the follower flee from battle XD

FSM does change the confidence level and should reset it when the follower is freed. I’ll review the code to try and spot if there is any way the confidence restore could be being bypassed, would also be worth checking the log at the point of buyback to see if any errors are thrown.

This time I'm afraid I can't help. Started Skyrim several times since it happened and I assume, the related log is overwritten a long time ago.

However, just in case it happens again within a reasonable timespan - which log do you need?

Apart from beeing very happy about your great support, it's not a big thing to reassign the correct value with a simple console command, even it's not very immersive. And it was a very special follower, which has some oddities that no one can explain. Maybe it's the fault of the mod follower and not a fail of FSM.

Ok so I've found papyrus and I followed the guides instructions and changed the numbers to what they are now as you can see in photo 1 unfortunately for some reason the papyrus log is not showing up in the folder were it should be as you can see in photo 2 is there any more advice you can give me or some fix that can be done or have we ran into a brick wall

let me know if its correct

The file we are looking for will be called Papyrus.0.log

That said, the file you have sent is interesting as it appears to show that FSM's JSONs were loaded as expected. So lets check your FSM Json Audits.

Start your game - go to the FSM 'System Settings' MCM Menu and under 'Debug' and run the Owner and then Outfit Audits.

Then quit the game and right click FSM in the left Pane of MO2 and select 'Open in Explorer'

Navigate to \SKSE\Plugins\FSM and post the two log files you will find there: 'Audit_Masters.txt' and 'Audit_Outfits.txt'

If you have return gear enabled then FSM saves the current Outfit when enslavement starts and restores it when a slave is freed  (if your Outfit Manager was using an empty outfit as the base for modifying NPC's gear then that is what will be restored by FSM).

If you do not have return gear enabled or if you steal a slave they will be left with a naked Outfit (and will be wearing the gear they were wearing if stolen). Escaping slave who are naked should equip basic items to cover their modesty but their base Outfit will be naked.

A few questions for clarification:

  1. How long was Lydia enslaved for?
  2. How was she freed - did you buy her back?
  3. What were your Equipment settings on the Slavery MCM page?

1. Not too long, maybe a week
2. I think it was a bandit camp and i killed them all
3. Return gear  was the only setting for that in the MCM.

I'm not using the super latest version so maybe you changed the mcm

Yes, I made quite a lot of changes in slave handling behind the scenes so it's probably not worth pursuing this any further unless the same issue occurs with the latest version.
