There are certain conditions though that are an exception to that. I wish your OCs wouldn't remind me of Darona and her husband from 'Gift of Mara'.

Submissive or not, the only safeguard would be to avoid Skaadi and Skaal entirely. Skaadi isn't exactly friendly with vampires outside her clan and Skaal will defend her with large scale destruction magic or worse things if needed. Although Skaadi dislikes to be defended. Now i wish to know more about this Darona.

Oh, and I wish that Darona and her husband wouldn't be brutally murdered and then due to a ritual their ghosts trapped into their dead corpses so that they are forces to live as Wiedergänger, while her husband searches for centuries for Darona who still is a thrall to the necromancers.
