fifteenspades Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I wouldn't say it's 100% crash if you have that many npc's. i mean it depends on your pc DL Randomly Generate Generic Townsfolk, SIM skyrim npc immersion, and SkyrimLive09 then walk into whiterun, see if you crash Should be around 70-80 people just walking around whiterun, 20ish in the inn and huntsman, 30 or so in dragonsreach. Using Sharpshooters enb, and immersive settlements myself with about 20 fps even in combat with all of them. So if you can handle that, you could probably handle 20+ in a brothel. with only a dual core 2.8ghz and AMD HD Radeon 7800 and only 4gb of ram (i hate my ram t_t ) If you do add the stripping pole feature, maybe you could make it so like when a bard plays the npc's around it, start to clap and drink etc. maybe make it like that?

I wont have 20 NPC there at the same time, I will have 11 girl in the main hall and even they will work in shifts. There will be only 6-7 girls plus the madam and some ( 3-4 ) customer. The other girls go to the sleeping quarters. Im not sure I can add animations ( I know it is possible, but thats a lot harder than creating a building and the NPC's, and I still haevnt looked in to it ) azmodan22 I hope this also helps http://skyrim.nexusm...com/mods/2658/? Read one post above yours...
Inferno0214 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Update! Look at OP to see news! Progress will slow down now that I started to work on the girls, this is a new area for me and I want to take my time to make them as beautiful as I can! Hopefully I will have some kind of release in a week or so.

Whiterun Is not one cell, If you have 20npcs in one cell in a player house, when skyrim will try to load them, their armors and all the stuff you have in the houses (cells) conteiners, it will most likely crush even if you play skyrim on a CRAY Update! aravis7 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 You should try to include some custom furnitures in it, to make it appear less generic (there are plenty of good and lore friendly statue/banners/paintings and other things on the nexus) ; )
azmodan22 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Well if you want statues, you gan get a couple of nice looking NPCs, put a texture on them like marbel, increase their scale, and make them stand in a sex pose. Although having the statue being an NPC might cause a bug like the walking manequins.

Also Im missing lot of clutter, as you can see I only have furniture
aravis7 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 examples : http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/1417-antique-statue/ or http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18215/?, you could even use a custom building : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36386//? Many people are a bit bored with vanilla assets over and over again, use what the community has created and it will make your mod much more unique . Edit: hadn't seen your response, good luck with it anyway ; ) .

For the record I am using a 3.3Ghz 4core AMD cpu, 8Gig of ram and a 5970 Black edition with 2gig ram. Skyrim cannot "overload" that regardless how much it can try. It is Skyrim itself that cannot handle the load and crashes. Skyrim seems to have a memory cap of 3.1Gb, if it exceeds that it freezes/crashes.

aravis7 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 In fact there are plenty of great furnitures in the mod "eden AO retreat" (here in loverslab or on the nexus), but they are from different authors so it might be complicated to get all the permissions. Another one, probably useful: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31526//?

Another one, probably useful: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31526//? Permissions is my biggest problem atm... the best resources I find only allow me to use them but not include them in my mod, which adds dependencies... as I stated at the start in my OP, I dont want those... I try to make it as much standalone as possible. Sure some mods will work realy well with my mod, but they wont be needed for this to work.
anominous Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 well this might be what I need to finally get me to buy Dragonborn
Guest Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Hey this sounds like an awesome mod with lots of potential. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses, however... can I make some requests? The only reason I install adult mods is cause I get off on them (doesnt everyone??) so some things that would help me :> - my character is a girl and I don't get off on girl on girl, but I get off on guy on girl sex, so can there be regular male npcs fking the whores? plx - I also get off on rape, can male npcs rape/hurt the prostitutes (but then have to pay the madam) - can you buy a follower prostitute who you can whore out and who occasionally gets raped as she follows you? and you can make out with her/fuck her etc or make her dance or be a slut or whatever please use the sexlab sex framework. it's the best I've encountered so far. Also most people have body/face improving mods installed. I have better females by bella and calientes cbbe curvy for example. Also the dancing from sanguines debauchery is really nice - the standing hip swaying one is v. hot and exotic
Guest Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 oh! and being able to take a quest where you're captured and have to pay your way by being a whore at the brothel would be cool... but I know this is getting a bit complex :>

Alos I am thinking about doing some relations between the costumers so lovers comfort and such mods can kick in. I wont be adding any animation as of yet, you will have to rely on SexLab for that. ( later I will try to add some dance animations ) If you read the OP the basement will feature BDSM. You will be able to ask them to follow after the quests are done ( since you are the boss by then ) but you wont be able to whore them out unless you use another mod. The girls will use different body and face mods and will be standalone. But if you would have taken a bit of your time and reed the OP you would know this allready Atm I am collecting permissions for body, face, hair and such so I will get back to the girls as soon as I have enough "parts" that I can use
kurisu7885 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I would say it could be fancie,r but hey, this is Skyrim, not Cyrodil.
MadSummoner Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 It would be nice if the main character itself could work in Brothel. Possibly under duress) Sorry for the english
GreyDeath Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 are you guys seriously playinf this game on dual core cpu's and dx9.0c compliant pc's? seriously though if you have an old pc and your running into issues with 20 or so npcs in a rooom then i sugguest you step upto a real pc and build the mod right.. Look i'm not digging on anyone here, i am merely stating if you look at the japanese mods and the russian mods they are very well put together , many hours go into them and they arent released to the public untill they are polished and thougholy tested ...not to mention most of them are more or less more of a burden on dual core cpus then what i have seen here ...the animations alone are smooth. Its been awhile since i have seen a Grand gotta have mods made here latelyi have seen alot of works in progress wind up in the can because people loose intrest and alot of mods that are talked to death with no fuitition. dont get me wrong there is alot of tallent here. but no one seems to be doing anything with it. long before i was runnning my current build i had an amd 955 quad core with 4gb of gskill 1600mhz ram running windows 7 home and i could still run 30+ npcs in on cell with nary a hiccup even with my raptor dell hdd's 74gb's each drive
Trykz Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 This looks like a great WIP project. Except....... using custom races for the NPCs is a very bad idea. I don't use the Temptress, Ashen, or Succubus races. And I'm not about to install them for the sake of a single mod. IMHO, you should just stick with vanilla races, and customize your NPCs by appearance only. Using custom races will make your mod dependent on them to work. And you've chosen to use three for this single mod (in just the part I read up till I got to them). Essentially, you're limiting the potential user base to only those who use what you use. Which I'm pretty sure will be a relatively small base of users. Requirements such as Apachii Hair, or SGHair are one thing. Their user bases are pretty tremendous, and rarely hold users back from using a mod that requires them. Custom races are a different story. The base of users that do not use custom races, is likely pretty equal to the base that does. Three (or more?) will shrink that number exponentially. I would drop the custom race requirements completely. It will expand the potential user base immensely. It's just a suggestion, and you can of course do whatever you like. It's your mod Trykz
alpalia Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 dat dwemer room .... with a rock bed......dude ! thats good for some SM fan or something like..lol  @Trykz the custom race for the npc shouldnt be a problem as long its possible to make each npc standalone, so they use they own body,texture,haircut,armor,clothes,etc.. from other game and we didnt install the mod separatly, its all inclued in the download. (its just an suggestion)

(its just an suggestion) If the races aren't used as they are, then the NPCs really won't be custom races. They'll simply be vanilla races using custom race assets. Most modders don't typically deny a request to use their assets (at least not in my experience), but most do require that the original mod be a required file for the derivative mod to function. Sticking with vanilla races, and using assets for the NPCs that permissions can be acquired for without issue, really would be the best course here. It insures the widest user base potential, and doesn't require anything additional on the user's part. But again, that's just my opinion and the mod's author can certainly use whatever he/she prefers. Trykz

Possibly under duress) Sorry for the english If in the Brotherl there is an inkeeper, maybe the mod Sexlab Radiant prostitution can be made compatible with him too and thus allow the player to work. That would be very nice. are you guys seriously playinf this game on dual core cpu's and dx9.0c compliant pc's? seriously though if you have an old pc and your running into issues with 20 or so npcs in a rooom then i sugguest you step upto a real pc and build the mod right.. A lot of poeple use such builds and do not have any issues. However, if Skyrim faces issues in my PC, witch has the resources to run Skyrim 4 times simultaneously, then it is Obviously not the computers problem. It takes very little research to find that Skyrim has the two folowing issues. 1. Memomy cap at 3.1gb. (the minute your game requires more it will propably crash/freeze) 2. High number of mods. (even if aaaaaaalll your mods are absolutely stable, the more you have installed the more "unstable" Skyrim becomes. It will not stuck constantly, just more often. That is why I suggested to avoid high numbers of npcs in one room. If you put 20 vanila NPC in a room in a Vanilla game, nothing happens. If you put 20 unique NPCs, with hight textured hair, high textured skin, high textured custome armor, in a room hith HD textures, the game will often, Often, not always, crash. And that often depends on the state of Skyrim in everyone's pc. It could be 1 times out of 10, it could be 7 times out of ten, it could be never. Today, there are no computers in the market that are unable to play Skyrim. Now to get back to the mod, I wanted to ask, will the player be required to buy the extra rooms or their furniture when thay are unlocked? If he/she is, then I was thinking that considering the fact that most player have ended up to be milionaires, maybe you can provide with a version that the cost for every new wing would be like 250.000 or something. And to avoid any missunderstanding (again) I am talking a bout a second version if the feature to spend money for the brothel exists already. Such amount are imposible to raise anytime soon with a new char, so this version would work for those who want to play their old char. If it exists you can just change the amounts. If it doesn't, well you are not going to implement it just for a secondary version.
