Thelargir Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I've asked for this 3 times in the non-adult request section, but havent gotten a single response, so I'll try here: I'm looking for a mod that makes most of the armor and clothes you find on enemies unlootable, like in Fallout. Unlootable bandits, stormcloaks and imperials at least, but maybe necromancers and vampires too. Magical stuff should be lootable though I think it should be a bit more challenging to get a new armor, and it also adds somewhat more of a consequence to being raped and robbed. If nothing like this exists, consider it a request

Very good idea! It should only require the *.nif files to apply sliders to them bones, right? I'm going to try that tomorrow. I expect the results to be hilarious and/or disappointing, but I'm going to try it. Excellent idea! Cool, just do me a favor and tell me what happened. Absolutely nothing will happen. The body meshes available for males are just not made for bodyslide.

I saw another post couple pages back asking the same thing but didn't see a reply post if there was a way to do it. I'd rather have no clothes for the creation part, as with alternate start once a choice is made the character loads with some starting gear. Thanks for any help guys.

Let's try to get this straight: you want to start the game in the nude in order to see your character's proportions, right? There are several ways to go about this, and maybe I'm arrogant or something but that's very very basic knowledge right there and I'd expect everyone to know about this BEFORE you start downloading mods and changing your game. Because ... well, those are the basics, and I can't possibly imagine the troubles you'll run into if you don't even know how to fix basic stuff. Anyway, there are multiple solutions. 1. edit the prisoner clothes, either replace the mesh or make it transparent. You have to be aware that "prisoner clothes" are NOT similar to nude bodies unless you replace the mesh. 2. use the CK to do the above, replacing the prisoner outfit with the nude outfit Again, I apologize if I appear arrogant or snotty (okay, not really) but those are very very basic issues anyone modding Skyrim should be aware of.

Or even typing on the console player.removeallitems or player.unequipall After starting a new game. I mean... for what I understood in the topic, this would be an solution.

Sorry but I honestly have no idea how to do pretty much anything beyond installing/uninstalling mods and CK is completely out of my league

You could always go through the motions as usual and then use the showracemenu command after undressing yourself once you're finished with the intro sequence.

It doesn't sound particularly difficult, but this is coming from someone with no experience in the creation kit whatsoever. If anyone makes any progress on this or knows of a mod that is already around that does this, i hope you would be willing to share. Cheers, and thanks for any help you can offer!

Unequip all your gear so you're naked, then use the Change Race spell.

I tried doing it myself, but I made a horrible mess of it due to my inexperience with Blender and just ended up completely confused and slightly frustrated. The armour concerned is XiNAVRO's Schwetleite Set: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19665//? It's already mostly designed for CBBE, and the author has said people are free to alter it for other body types.

Unequip all your gear so you're naked, then use the Change Race spell. ^ This. I wanted to type the same as I somehow forgot to mention that last night when it's clearly the easiest thing to do! ;-)

I again. if you really want to start naked, but is easy! write femalebody_0.nif and _1.nif in prisonerclothes_f_0.nif and _f_1.nif around and copy them into meshes \ clothes \ prisoner and you're naked files start at the beginning! german \ deutsch ! nochmal ich . wenn du unbedingt nackt starten willst , ist doch ganz einfach ! schreibe femalebody_0.nif und _1.nif in prisonerclothes_f_0.nif und _f_1.nif um und kopiere diese dateien in meshes\clothes\prisoner und schon bist du bei startbeginn nackt !

I just leave the vanilla character, give it a temporary name and edit out of the original menu as quickly as possible. Then I remove the clothes, open the console and enter the showracemenu command and build the character I want and when I'm done I save over the autosave it generated with the vanilla one. Naked is necessary for those of us who like to place tattoos on the body using the Race Menu http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29624/? I just wish we had a mirror or some way to rotate the character.

So many people just keep posting all of the ways to do this manually, or to make the clothes just appear as a naked body... Is it really that hard for a modder to whip up a quick esm or esb, whichever it'd be for this, that would just either unequip the clothes or fully remove them from your inventory when you create the character? I have a small handful of mods that add items each time you make a character, and even one that equips an item that it adds when you create the character. Since up to this point I've done it manually and it's just quite frankly kinda getting old is all P.S. Sorry if I've irritated anyone with my insessiveness about this
