I watched a fun horror yesterday called "X", it was pretty good. Its about a group of people in the late 70's that rent out a cabin so they can shoot a porn flick, they end up in a horror movie. Movie starts a little slow but the props/location/attire all looked good for me, The acting was solid and the cast was great.  The death scenes could of been better, not bad, but their are some really creepy scenes in movie, dont want to spoil it.

I've seen City of God again, the other day.  Coming from a unique perspective, f you like crime and gangster-type movies, give this a try.  Based on a true story, as well.

Anyone interested in watching City of God should be aware that it has a follow-up, City of Men.

wow... IIRC it was "Pirates of the Caribbean" on BluRay like 1,5 years ago?!

something like that, maybe... can't really remember :D

I lost the interest of watching movies years ago.

In my 20s I went to the cinema like twice a week or so to watch every blockbuster movie and buy the DVD/BluRay afterwards (still have a huge collection at home xD )

but yeah... I enjoy youtube and twitch more than any (movie) streaming platform

I saw a LOT of hype around this movie and as a big horror fan, I went in expecting something great.  Like you said, it was 'okay' but nothing special.

I watched "Dual" last night which is a sci-fi, horror, thriller and it was very interesting.  I hadn't heard anything about it and went in cold but enjoyed it as the plot was engaging and moved along, the performances were solid and overall concept was neat.  It reminded me a bit of "the Lobster" and "the Killing of a Sacred Deer" where the characters talk in a monotonous way and explain their emotions rather than express them otherwise.  It's a bit intentionally robotic and has absurdist undertones.  The tone also reminded me of "Under the Skin."

Worth a watch if you're into similar films.

not all at once of course but through several days James Bond with all the women that he gets, even the women that are suppose to be the allies of the villain of the movie. My favorite James Bond actors are Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan

Legend of the Fall

this scene brought tears to my eyes when the girl says "forever turn out to be too long" then removed I'm guessing her wedding band and returned it to her now ex husband

First one is still better, both great movies.

I agree that the first is better as I love the horror elements and I HATE that kid in T2.

Free Guy was hilarious

The funniest scene was

Spoiler

When he starts to pull out all the Easter eggs against Dude. I almost chocked for laughter by the Shield and Evans cameo  ?

The first movie's alright, but you can tell that James Cameron had less to work with than the sequel.  I prefer sci-fi and action over horror, too.  I also liked Sarah better in T2.

#2 was great and you nailed it with the sci-fi horror/action.

Cameron definitely had more to work with T2. I seen a special where big wigs, including Arnold had virtually no faith in first Terminator movie. No one working on it thought it would be so well received

Needs no introduction.

Spoiler

Seriously blown away by this, it recaptured the TDK vibe while creating it's own unique identity which will be remembered as one of the classics. Incredible in every aspect, incredible movie.
