DrunkenCow Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Anthropoid https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4190530/ Lovely retelling of the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. Could have done without the Hollywood bits at the end and the random shootings of civilians in the running gunfight of the assassination scene. The audience doesn't need it driven home that the man that organized Kristallnacht and the final solution was a bad dude and seven paratroopers really did hold off 750 SS troops from within a church for six hours armed only with hand guns so the addition of Stens was pointless.
beefers Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 watched a couple of interesting films in the past week, "MEN" and "Crimes of the Future". I don't want to say much about either because going in 'blind' is best but I'll say that I didn't really enjoy the films but they were interesting and engaging.
