RohZima Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 If Skyrim world was real and you actually lived there, which Daedra would you worship (assuming you would), and why? I honestly don't know, but I think it's something worth thinking about.
Alessia Wellington Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Molag Bal. Well, I don't worship him like true Daedric followers do, but I obey him to an extend. He's basically my father after all.
Marie.R Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 molag bal because he just comes across as badass, i think. ?
yorpers Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 well...there is this fellow named Sanguine. Definition of debauchery 1: extreme indulgence in bodily pleasures and especially sexual pleasures : behavior involving sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. that is often considered immoral
RohZima Posted April 25, 2022 Author Posted April 25, 2022 I guess Sanguine might be the most popular - on this site.
Guest Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 > Dibella, who else although she isn't Daedra. Sorry for little detour. But if I "must" choose, it will be Sanguine.

Gukahn Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Actually had that topic way back with my friend. She and i agreed to either Sheogarth or Malacath. Both a fair most of the time and Malacath promises a sweet afterlife. Yeah i would have to be an Orc and don't life that long but it is either power or salvation people crave by worshiping the princes ? I take my chances with salvation

Speed Metal Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 None. I spit in the faces of all those cock suckers.
Gukahn Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Just now, yorpers said: I'd worry good ol Sheo would turn me into a block of cheese, to be honest. Well, by worshipping him you will most likely be insane or become it very soon. So what's so bad about being Cheese? ?
cheesemonster Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 I’ll do you the courtesy of providing you with a genuine answer. The Daedra I would be most inclined to worship would be Meridia, not only because she is regarded as the most ‘good’ of the Daedra, but also her artifact is very powerful, even a chance to acquire it would sway me to her side. If not persuaded by my Morals however, I would choose to worship Nocturnal as the boons one could acquire from worshiping her would be extremely useful. These boons would presumably affect luck/thieving skill, and that’s great - and if I could use her own boons against her to steal the skeleton key that’d be even better.
tlrd Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Azure for sure she seems like the only genuine nice daedra out there. Also her realm is supposed to be so beautiful that mortals who get there are half blinded what more could you ask.
FauxFurry Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 If Daedra existed in this world, many of the people of Earth would be able to proudly boast that they resisted the foul temptation of their malefic influence. There would be ads about people indulging in their anti-Daedric Pacts much like they do with narcotics now or they would form groups to oppose them and their followers which would but Crusaders and Mujahideen to shame. The news media would have a genuine unseen threat to (rightly for once) fear monger about, serving as a massive ratings boon.
Fiend71 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 As I'm not religious at all now, I'd be with @Speed Metal (though likely less vocal). Let them fight among themselves. Is there one for lost causes though? I might actually fit in there... Sanguine is a fav. ?
Splendor Solis Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Azura is pretty much the only choice since she's the nicest and won't btfo you in the afterlife. If I didn't have to worry about that, it'd be either Hermaeus Mora because he'd have tons of hidden knowledge I'd like to have, or Molag Ballin' to satisfy my power complex.

I think if they were real the world would be exactly like it is with the elite and media worshipping demons and forever stirring up misery and conflict.

Yeah, I think the hidden knowledge would be too much for me to resist.
