Your favorite (sexy) armor mods?

I'm newly-returned to the Skyrim modding scene after about a 5-6 year hiatus and I'm firing up SE (or AE as I've learned the most recent version is called) for the first time ever.  Naturally any playthrough of Skyrim is not complete without some sexy adventures along the way and some truly sexy armor to prance--I mean fight in.  Unfortunately I find myself at a complete loss as to what the most comprehensive armor sets are these days.  I use CBBE (and of course have the CBBE Remodeled armor mod) and I'm trying to wrap my head around mods that enable physics with clothing (I am still unable to fathom Bodyslide well enough to get it all working)...

But I digress, what are you fine folks using for armor packs these days?  Bearing in mind that I'm using a CBBE body and I understand they're not all compatible I'm open to trying out a slew of them as I like a lot of variety in the game.  Perhaps nothing too recognizable from other IPs (don't really want Sailor Moon outfits in my Skyrim, for example), but I'm more than happy to try "pretty" over "practical".  It's a fantasy game, after all.

I apologize if this is a topic that's been tread ad nauseum here but the Search function hasn't been particularly useful and there doesn't appear to be a subsection of Downloads that's just for armor.  I just want to have a fun, debaucherous time in Skyrim once again.

Thanks for your time!

Considering on you're on LL, switching to CBBE 3bb or BHUNP might be of interest to you. I imagine CBBE to CBBE 3BB should be backwards compatible.

Other than that - there is a ton of stuff to choose from, practicly - too much to list,

Some notable contributors would be

COCO, Dint999, H2135, Ashtoreth all do high quality stuff with SMP.

Then there Melodic, NINI (most works can be found in one massive collection) and bunch more people sharing amazing fruits of their labour. You'll probably also want one of 9 million versions of TAWOBA.

My favourite would be this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62751

I've been trying to get HDT-SMP working with varying degrees of success right now but yes, CBBE 3BBB is what I'm aiming for.  I am utter garbage at Slider-fu though and can never get a body that looks all that great.  I'll have to look into how to install other presets (the Twi-lek one I saw on these forums looks fantastic!).

Thank you for the recommendations!  I know there's a lot to choose from but I've noticed most of the mods I've seen only add like 3-5 pieces/sets whereas I'm looking for more complete collections/overhauls like the Melodic/NINI ones you've mentioned here.  Ultimately my goal would be to figure out how to have encounter NPCs have random sets instead of every bandit/forsworn/etc having the exact same cookie cutter outfit but one step at a time...

If I were to stick to the CBBE body type that I use for a few of the modded followers rather than the BBHUNP that I use for the Dragonborn, I would say that my favorite over-all sexy armor pack for female type characters is DatBoi's Futa WarDraboe.

For males, it is Kreiste's Warriors of Light (Skimpy version).

I'm not a huge fan of futa (not against, just don't want my entire world filled with it) but I like the look of many of those outfits as well. Thanks!

You may then use this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13023

Adds a ton of skimpy (and not so much) variation in place of vanilla armors for female npcs, as quest rewards etc. For more prevalent armors like Steel, there is alot of variety.

I believe it also gives a radom variation if you loot one from male NPC (not sure if process is truly randomized).

Other notable idea for the same goal is this: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/6813-circulated-in-skyrim-core-files-ciscore/

If you dont mind fiddling youself however, SPID is, in my opinion, a superior solution. Doesnt affect leveled lists, doesnt take plugin slots etc. Wont affect containers or vendors thou.

SPID itself: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36869

Let's see...

TAWOBA Remastered 6.1

Girl's Heavy Armors SE

Daring Gigaduex Armor

Hunting Grounds Outfit

Northgirl

Stalhrim Bikini

Switch to 3BA (a variant of 3BBB) body. It's backwards compatible with CBBE and you won't regret it...

I really like TAWOBA but it seems to conflict with SOS (invisible schlongs because of slot 52 issues).  I haven't been able to find a way to fix that yet.  Did you have a solution for this?  Or anyone for that matter?  It kind of defeats the purpose to have sexy mods installed when the bits are removed.

CIS looks great but requires plugins for each and by the looks of it most of the packs I'd want don't have plugins made (and I'm not gifted enough to figure it out myself in the time I have).  Likewise SPID requires a LOT more fiddling than I'm comfortable with, though I can see how powerful a tool it is.  Maybe if I can figure out how to get TAWOBA and SOS to play nice together I'll try tackling this next.

Thanks for the recommendations!

No problems with Remastered.

Well I'm using Remastered from your link and I'm having conflicts with SOS.  Male NPCs wearing pieces for slot 52 are missing their junk during sex scenes.  This seems to be because they're wearing bikini bottoms from this mod.  Once those are removed (from their corpses) their schlongs magically appear.

Set it as "always remove" in SL MCM strip settings. Of course they'll be missing schlongs, they're covered by undergarments.

Nope.  I've set 52 to strip in the MCM Sexlab Timers & Stripping menu for Males (for both aggressive and consensual) and any time it's a Human male "wearing" Bikini armor from this mod (in their inventory, not visual) when they strip for the sex animation it's just a complete void down there as if a chunk of their bodies has been cut off.  *shiver*  From what little I've Googled this is a problem for many and is a universal problem for when armor sets take over the 52 spot that SOS uses.  I'll keep working at it.

Thanks again for the recommendations, though.  I do like a lot of the sets.

Can't help you then, no issues on my side. Though I don't have males wearing female bikinis. And if they do for some reason, the more "feminine" parts are either invisible or revert to vanilla on a male body.

Though it is entirely possible that I have something else installed that adds compatibility, I just don't remember at this point. I set it up once long ago and never bothered with it again.

I fully concur with those who are recommending TAWOBA to you. Because I have thousands of UNP, UNPB and/or UUNP outfits -- some which I converted from Oldrim and others I just dl and installed -- I use Baka's BHUNP-3BBB version because it is fully backwards-compatible with UUNP (shapes, slidersets, presets and templates). I have no issues with invisible schlongs, possibly because most, if not all, of the TAWOBA bikini armors are for girls :classic_ohmy: who don't normally have schlongs or anything else cluttering up Slot 52. lulz.

Damn right.

There are male versions of bikinis though,  but that's a separate set of mods.

I find it strange to find them on the males as well since I haven't changed anything on my own to add them to male bodies--it's just what happened when I installed TAWOBA from belegost's link.  As I said they don't VISUALLY appear on the males; they appear to be wearing normal armor.  It's only when I'm looting them that I find various female-centric armor pieces on their corpses in addition to their normal armor.  In any case the conflict with SOS seems to have resolved itself somehow.  It just started working properly out of the blue for no reason I can fathom, so I'll just take the win.

As far as your UNP outfits, Vyxenne, I am using a CBBE body and all body mods are CBBE centric.  Don't UNP outfits have problems with CBBE bodies?  I would love to broaden the outfit collection as much as I can but I've been steering clear of UNP outift mods because I didn't want conflicts/visual weirdness.

I wish I'd kept all of the old collections I had from the LE days so I could more easily search for other compilations.  I'm loathe to add single-set mods piecemeal because I don't want to increase the load for every new set but I can't seem to find as many giant sets like TAWOBA like there used to be.  The search continues.

That's normal. TAWOBA comes with its own loot table (several of then actually, you pick one during installation) and distributes the pieces to all eligible NPC's regardless of gender. Bikini pieces don't appear on males at all or look as regular armour - that's a feature not a bug. Just be glad your dovahslut can pick and choose. If you need to rationalise for immersion purposes: imagine the guys wearing them have a fetish.

I use CBBE (3BA) as well. There is no functional difference between CBBE and UNP, those are just different standards of body shapes (imagine PAL and SECAM but for ass and tits).

One way to do this for mods that only have female armors it to add vanilla male armor meshes so that they show in game as whatever vanilla armor their is, but in inventory may well show as the female only armor they actually are, this can sort out things like invisible torso on male npc using armor that only has female meshes and such.

Okay, but when I said that this is what was happening before (males having female armor in their inventory but their standard armor visibly equipped) you acted as if it was odd.  So we're essentially saying the same thing and there was a miscommunication somewhere along the way.

So I can just install UNP armors and use Bodyslide as usual to have them fit my CBBE body?  Sorry if this has become more of a Tech Support thread than I was intending.  I'm taking everyone's suggestions and trying to continue to build up my wardrobe from there.  There are a ton of other mods for Skyrim I'm sure I'm missing out on because I've been out of the loop for so long.

No. If you have CBBE-compatible body, you need CBBE-compatible armour. I said "functional" as in, they both work the same way, but they are not the same body shapes. You have to decide whether you want UNP or CBBE, but once you do, there is no functional difference in how they work in their respective categories.

That being said you can use UNP armor on CBBE body if you must, but it will not look right.

First you should switched to CBBE 3BBB (3BA) as its the most support and advanced body for SSE. With full CPB, HDT SMP physics and a lots of customization.

As for outfit I like all outfit mods from DeserterX, COCO, Melodic, Sunjeong....etc. Just go to next armor categories, set sort by trending and pick the outfit you like

For non nexus stuff. There are other modder side/blog/discord with a lots of good stuff as well. For example:

Well, here's the thing: apparel pieces that cover the upper torso (Body Slot 32) like the TAWoBA and other armor mods generally have their own bodies included with them in the mesh file. So it's not a matter of "wearing a UNP armor on a CBBE body," because the armor has its own body and couldn't care less what your default body is. So equipping a UNP armor in your CBBE game will probably look OK but may well have an unexpected shape. Generally speaking, you only see your default body when you are naked, or at least topless.

The incompatibility is with the skin textures- if you equip a UNP armor in your CBBE game, you will probably have wrist, ankle and/or neck seams, and your nipples (if visible) will be horribly out of place. You may also have issues equipping any CBBE accessories (tall thigh boots, bracers, gloves, piercings, nails, etc. with the UNP armor item because they will not fit the shape properly.

There are a couple of things you can do to ease the pain if you simply cannot find your favorite armor mod in your default body type:

  • Install a set of UNP Body Textures in a subfolder of your normal body textures, then redirect the Body Texturesets records in the armor's nif (or plugin for Texture Swaps)
  • Convert the armor to your preferred body type. BHUNP-3BBB comes with conversion slidersets, and I assume (but do not actually know) that CBBE-3BA does too
