The fact that you prefer CBBE while I prefer BHUNP does not make either of them intrinsically "better" in any way.

I mean they're both EQUALLY good in term of technical aspect but CBBE 3BBB is DEFINITELY more popular, thus more armor conversion is available for CBBE first and foremost. Just take a look at top 10 trending download armor on Nexus. How many of them is for CBBE 3BBB and how many of them is for BHUNP? If someone is new to Skyrim modding and seeking for body mod recommendation of course CBBE is the way to go.

This same argument about UNP vs CBBE has been use since Skyrim 2011. There was a time back then UNP based body is much more popular than CBBE but as for SSE CBBE is the way to go.

Yes, undeniably more popular. You said CBBE was "more advanced" and "better supported," which mean something different than "more popular" to me. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yes, probably so to a modder who is just starting out and trying to decide whether to download her first armor mod in BHUNP-3BBB version or CBBE-3BA.

 

However, to some of us with thousands of UNP/UUNP outfits built up over 11 years of playing Skyrim >> SSE, CBBE is almost impossible to use or switch to even if we wanted to give up or convert those thousands of outfits, which I do not. So no, for many of us, CBBE is definitely not "the way to go" for SSE.

Cbbe was the first body type I used all the way back in.... what... 2012? It's been a while heh.

 

I'm used to it, it works. It has gotten more features over time and I really cannot complain about it.

 

 

UNP and a few other body types have been around, I am sure they are great. I see stuff for BHUNP all the time, so clearly it has good support but I am just fine with CBBE.

 

Why argue over body types? Use the one that is more appealing to you and move on. I mean really...
