Playing the LE versions of this mod, v2.0

Have all the requirements and the mod has been running smoothly until now.

I'm at the post riften auction stage, after Marc 's friends and back with Paul but from then on

I'm having trouble getting my savegames to load in order to continue the game,

Skyrim is continuously stuck at the loading screen.

Too much milking going on seems to be 1 cause of it and i don't know how to fix it.

I would really like to finish this mod...

I was about to start on the hands, but then things got in between. I also got in a bit of Skyrim Fatigue over the summer. I can't say when I will get back on the hands, but it is still something I'd like to make.

You're sure about that? I've 30 cows constantly milking and no trouble loading that game.... Can you post a papyrus.log?

Unfortunately, this will not do because everyone is using their own special body replacer. So changing the femalebody.nif will not get the job done. Don't waste time on that.

Yes I'm sure but I'm playing on a computer that only has an i3 intel processor. That's normally more than enough for Skyrim but a script heavy mod or two can change things.

I also think there's a milking bug with MME that might be causing lag or delay with your mod because milking sessions don't seem to end and just go on.  I played Skyrimfet's original mod several years back when I had a similar issue and the author said not to play MME and to play bac. I have trouble loading savegames because I think my character is stuck in a milking loop affecting level up mutation which happens very slowly. Unfortunately, I didn't have papyrus log box ticked when I started this playthrough. Some instructions on how to play through this mod would be helpful as I don't understand many of the mcm configurations or how to set them up for MME either.

Update. I started a new game but that didn't help, I'm going to unininstall it and MME as they are both slowing down my game.

Might make a separate mod for this at some point, but I've just started using high poly head and just can't get myself to not utilize it by activating the cow head mootations so I made two presets trying as best as I could to emulate them just using racemenu. If you like or want to try them the requirements can be found at my main preset I made them from here

With 2.0 I introduced a function to remove the alien npcs present when entering Coldharbour (Afflicted). This seems to cause the CTD, probably they are aliased by some vanilla quest and not allowed to be disabled. So, I deactivated that part for the time being with the obvious consequence that those npcs will pop up again.

Yeah I noticed that the fixed scripts have the comments removed on the disable alien lines. But why does that happen? There are tons of areas in the game where those afflicted guys don't go. Maybe there's another way to prevent them from spawning inside Coldharbour without disabling them? Maybe an alias or something that tags the whole zone as a zone where Afflicted are prohibited from spawning or whatever?

Believe me, I've searched for hours why a) they do show up in the first place and b) how to prevent them from doing so. So far, I've not found anything. Probably copying the whole area from Bthardamz Dwelling in the beginning was the main fault.

Maybe. Why is Coldharbour made in the Dwemer Ruin tileset to begin with? I feel like it doesn't fit at all.

Sorry if this thread's only for LE questions but has anyone been able to get the hdt tail to work on SE? Mine's just stiff

Edit: I've also found that horns and ears 42 and 55 seem to block any facial animations from running, is there a fix or known cause for this?

meshes are included (but no bodyscale version yet)

That's odd. The horns and ears are just armors and armor add-ons with no scripts attached. Why they should block animations is beyond me. In LE they don't.

Bthardamz Dwelling was the nearest setting (apart from the tileset) I had in mind, so I copied that. At that time, I had little to no experience in room building, so I didn't want to create that from scratch.

I reallly want to get this mod to work. I got about half way through the story line until things started to go wrong after the auction in riften/Marc ambush.

Transformations would take longer and longer and would happen at any point and saving the game during this would result in unloadable savegames. I would

be unable to continue the quest.  I had DD. versions 4.2a with DCL 8.1 installed which are my favourite versions so I updated to DD5.1 with no DCL.

Starting a new game, things are worse, milking takes too long, transformations are horrible and disfigured, my character just looks like an overinflated blimp.

The level and mutagen potions didnt work either, my character just seemed to be stuck.

I think I may have made a mistake using cbbe hdt curvy preset. Can anyone suggest a safe version of cbbe body that will work with MME, Bac and DD? I would also appreciate some advice on  getting smooth and quicker transformations with faster milking.

Hmm, then it must be some sort of compatibility issue with something else I haven't found yet I'll keep looking

This is most likely a builtin Skyrim issue and not specially BAC or MME related. You see, sometimes regardless of the installed mods, Skyrim tends to bloat up savegames by creating tons of dead script instances and references. This happens to me also. What I do against that is I have my save game folder open on the 2nd screen at all times and watch the savegame sizes. If the new save game is not within say about 100k of the previous one, I kill the game, start new and load that previous save. I also use Jaxonz Named Saves to create fallback saves every so often. If the savegame is bloated and you continue playing with that, you will end up with a savegame too large for Skyrim to load (> 64MB LE, I don't know the limit for SE).

So it's a carry over from earlier days. Understandable!

 

No idea what are your plans for that part since it seems it's more of an optional and short bit and doesn't look like it's ever going to be something important in the main BAC storyline but like I said previously I'd really like that bit to receive some love. I feel like it has potential to be something more than just a quick 3-minute sidequest, and have more significant lasting consequences.

GetID() is called on a quest FormList item passed as a property to that script since 1.9I. If you have an older version especially of bac_store.pex lying around that will not work. Clean out all old bac scripts before installing a new version. The FormList normally has 6 items:

I didn't install any other version on this instance of the game. First log errors are:
