Unfortunately, the problem with registration of PAHE remains (tested on existing save and on a new game).

Anyway, I'd like to know what I would get if the mod was registered by SBC. Am I right that:

1) it would be an additional dialogue line (something like "Let's enslave you completely" as far as I remember from SBC v. 0.972)?

2) I can reach the same result by using of PAHE interaction menu (which becomes available under a certain condition like <50% HP)?

Is running the original ESP a problem?  Realize you prefer auf Deutsch, but it appears to be causing an unknown issue.  A console fix isn't available because the source of  the problem is unresolved.  You're running a 3rd party mod to alter the ESP, so there's no way to diagnose what exactly is going on without analyzing it.  Post the altered ESP (which technically violates the use agreement, but we'll overlook it).

Correct.  Actually, you can just use the console to set the global variable SBC_PAH_On to 1.  Keep in mind each time you open the MCM it will be reset to 0.

The original ESP is not the problem, but as soon as you translate it (possibly also in other languages than German) the described error occurs that the quest "Seek information from an innkeeper" does not start correctly respectively the dialog options for the innkeepers are missing. It doesn't matter if it starts with picking up the note or later, when you have freed a captive or solved the quest with the transcript.
The only way around the problem is to reuse the original ESP for those moments, every time the quest should be restarted....
I've tested a lot of other things so far with the partially translated ESP (free captives, sex with nenya, finish quests, etc.) and I noticed nothing else abnormal.


Alright, here is the partially translated ESP where the problem occurs.
I wanted to send it to you anyway when I finish translating it and hopefully no error will occur then. Then you can decide for yourself if you want to offer more languages or not.

(SE version) Now for some reason, the message appears and gets activated (still no notes), but the MCM doesn't appear at all. Not even after going through several places.

 

EDIT: Also, how does the auxillary start sequence works?

See change log at the bottom of the OP.  However, it's only applicable if the opening message doesn't appear.  If you're getting no notes there's something else going on.

The notes are supposed to be on the counter. Right?

 

The first post also mentions that something can be checked via the console if the notes aren't there. What exactly?

I am running 98e on LE. I read the note in Riverwood Traders and was assigned to talk to an innkeeper. I tried them in Riverwood and Whiterun with no option to talk about captives.

A couple of very minor things I noticed.

Picked up the note in Whiterun, sent to Traitor's Post in Eastmarch.  Sabrina Arraus I think.  Pointer was pointing below the floor at the north end of the building.  I did the 'TCL' command and looked at it afterwards, it was just below the floorboards. 

For a change, I took her into the closest city with a blacksmith, Windhelm, and he sent me to Wuufnerth the Unliving, fated to be forever known to myself as 'Woof-Woof, the Zombie-Dog".  Woof-Woof starts telling me all about Falion in Morthal, then sends me off to see Sybille Stentor in Solitude.

There is nothing along those lines on mine and I have the mod near the bottom of my load order.

SBC 0.98c

My first captive is Ariela, and I subjugated her. I went throuh the vision, killed the bandit boss and now I'm slightly stuck. Blacksmiths don't have additional dialogue. Her collar is white. (I'm wondering what the next step is: 'investigate the otherworldly vision'?)

 

What's also annoying is that Ariela keeps stealing my horse and as she's bound, she's standing on top of it. She never dismounts, so I have to kill my horses over and over. Quite an expensive slave!

Once you find and read a note, the mod should start.

Nether's Follower Framework requires it to be below anything that adds possible followers.  I have it at the bottom of my load order, with only Skyrim Unbound Reborn, an alternate start mod below it.  Blackbird Wanderer says that Sexy Bandit Captives is not designed to work with Nether's Follower Framework.

 

Oops!  I missed that about no message, so disregard my bad advice on the notes.

 

i had the flashing light at the start and clicked agree, but cant find any notes either :S  not using any follower mods

I think Blackbird Wanderer put a workaround for that problem in the Riverwood Trader.  Downstairs behind the counter.  I will check real quick and see if I can find it in my game.  I was not able to find that workaround in the Riverwood Trader, but I already have the quest running.  What version of the mod are you running, and which version of the game?  I am using v.98e for Legendary Edition.

1) Download and install v0.98e.

2) Do not subjugate the first Captive.  The Quests will not progress if you do.  You may be able to recover from your current state, but it will take a bit of console work.  If you can, start from a clean save.

Sounds like something was broken or corrupted.  Try a fresh download on a clean save.

Still a mystery why this happens for some users but not others.  What version and platform?

There are Easter eggs and rumors about things.  Some may be true.  Some not.  Some not yet developed.

Things nobody has reported trying:

  • Searching Elisif's furniture
  • Trying on the panties or putting them on a follower

Wrong problem.  That solution provides a manual prompt for the opening screen and mod initialization which already includes note placement.  If just note placement isn't happening, there's something else afoot.

hello, thank you again for this mod I would like to specify that I too have the bug of the quest for the three kadjit merchants ! I may restart the save before the quest or at the beginning of it, it does not work even when restarting the game (I specify "relaunch the game" because it had solved the problem of Uvani which did nothing to free a slave from these constraints) I tried to redo the quests several times, even changing the order of the kajiits and ending with Ri'saad who said that the other two had taken an oath to him, the quest did not work !! Is there a command to advance the quest or another solution?? Because even if I didn't want to free the captives, I think the others don't spawn even if there are changes in the areas or new places related to this mod.

Well, I can report that I did try searching all of Elisif's furniture, and trying to pickpocket her to see if she had them on her, without finding anything.  Up to being both her Thane and her ally, and still can't successfully ask her for them.

Don't think Elisifs dialogue is ever meant to work, you need to think laterally about who else would have access to what you want

Thanks, but I have already found ways to get them, was just trying out all of the options.

I tried that. Didn't find any. Then I found out one of her servants had a very flexible concept of loyalty - so flexible, in fact, that she paid me to bribe her a day in advance! And overpayed too. I think I reported that a while back too :p. I didn't realise I was supposed to also report checking every single piece of furniture in the Jarl's bedchamber then in every other bedchamber on the first floor then scouring the ground floor roms before discovering the errant servant skiving off from her duties in the back rom behind the kitchen.

Downloaded & installed. (Can't really go for new save: it's a L64 character - don't want to go through DCL questline & Laura's Bondage questlines again)

 

Using the 4 commands in the message gets Ariela back with the option to subjugate her or to remove her bindings (even though she refuses removal: compares it to torture).

The setstage 5 doesn't work: stage doesn't exist. Stage 10 is set as completed and can't be undone with "SetObjectiveCompleted SBCSS 10 0"

 

Innkeeper didn't react whe I'm inside with Ariela.

Still no blacksmith reacting,

Falion not reacting.

 

When I tried resetquestSBCSS it completed the quest and started "Between the lines" (didn't save that one).

Anyway, the point that I was trying to make originally, before getting sidetracked into completing the quest a different way, was:  The word "Whipser" in the players conversation topic to both Elisif and Falk Firebeard should be spelled "Whisper".  It is spelled correctly in their responses, but not in the player's conversation.

 

I spent far longer on trying to do this than in getting to this point.  I finally gave up on it, and paid Erdi to steal them for me.

No. I did not try giving them to Jordis to wear.  Sounds too much like a Clavicus Vile sort of deal to me.

Its me again, I've been following the thread while also avoiding spoilers as much as humanly possible, causing me to skip a lot of posts, so apologies if this has been answered somewhere before.

The original incarnation of the mod, had a sandbox nature to it that I loved a lot, although there weren't really quests as you know. I'm aware that the current version has a questline, so I am wondering if the sandbox nature of the mod is still there or if you have opted for a more traditional Skyrim approach in it's story that is quest only. Personally I prefer a mix of both but I understand its your mod.
