When freezing it with cheat engine, the suit is kept in a story sequence.

I had the swimsuit on normally before entering the scene, and it switched it to default. That behaviour might differ depending on how a scene is started. (The one for me got started right out of bed.)

To confirm, it is kept in other scenes. (Swimsuit equipped through wardrobe.)

Makes me assume that it will get changed in specific scenes.

Like newgame22 said, it seems like default outifits of the main protagonist is kept BUT it depends on the event scene, the only thing that can't be kept is if you try to swap actors (models) BEFORE the event starts, i take it's because each character is designed for each event by default BUT what you said earlier is also true, DURING the scene itself even if the game swaps back to the main protagonist, you can swap to any NPC you want normally, and after the end of the event scene the character behaviour also changes, the idle animation and comments are switched to match the NPC model that you swaped during the event scene.

 

(Sorry for the long explanation i know it must be a lot to follow but like Lucy used to say "It is what it is" Haha xD.

WIP, should be ready for tomorrow, more to come for her, but sadly there's only her everyday outfit, and yeah, I'm doing mods only for PC rn

Very good job

the candidates are a bit tougher as they have multiple variations to edit and some of the costumes don't have good geometry for the breasts to even edit.

I'm working on Priscilla at the moment, with her everyday costume and pjs done, but her casual wear and swimsuit are wip

Hmm... Considering how GOOD looking the artwork is, and how good looking the boys are in there. i wouldn't be surprised. (i don't swing that way, but even i have to admit, the boys are looking great in RF5). XD

Has anyone released any info on how to actually import mesh edits into the game? Personally never worked with a unity game before.

I've mostly been doing texture edits and compiling resources for others to use.  I've gotten my hands on UABE but it can't just simply export/import mesh like it can textures. Also the same for other sorts of files such as sprites/audio. Having this info would be helpful and I'd be able to add it to my guide. Thanks in advance.

it seems like theres a nexus page for this game too with different mod contributors if anyone was looking for an alternative to gamebanana. no adult stuff yet though

There are people on Nexus doing upscaling and decompression of the textures. We may actually get a port that looks like it belongs on PC eventually.
