Aww, that's a bummer. I thought there was a small chance there was model there, but it turns out to be just a flat plane. Thanks for taking a look though!

Heres the topless RF4 inspired bikini mod, it replaces Female Swimsuit

Absolutely perfect! Took a picture of Fuuka + the main character take a bath using your mods. Love it.

I don't think its DLC. It seems to replace the swimsuit you wear in the bath or at the beach. Its not an equippable outfit. Unless you can unlock it later, I dunno. I'm not that far yet.

Upgrade the bakery (yes, I know, it's odd) and then buy the swimsuit from the grandma!
You can even dress up the townspeople you add to your party by using your wardrobe while they are in your party. Hit 'change all' and select the swimsuit.

Huh, I had no idea that bakery upgrades would add more clothes. I thought it would only effect the bread. Thanks for the info ?

Would anyone mind elaborate how to reimport edited mesh into the bundle file? I have been searching for a few hour now but no luck. Already looked up the Discord but the description are very vague. That would help a lot, thx

when i use this, swimsuit still same, any idea?

Updated to this, and I'm still able to see the nude mod. Not sure what was wrong with the first version, but this one works for me as well.

Make sure you upgrade the bakery, so that the grandma will start selling clothes. Buy the swimsuit from her, and switch to it with your wardrobe. It won't work for the pre-order swimsuit, or any of the recolors I believe.

Modding the Pajamas into something a bit more lewd would be great. With the swimsuit mod, we can be topless 99% of the time now. The only time when you won't be is when you go to sleep.

Hi guys. i just came across a cheat table for cheat engine, from the Fearless revolution website. and it has an option to character swap to any character you want. it even let them use their original voices, and you are able to switch their outfits like pajamas swinsuits etc, using the wardrobe normally, only thing it lacks is the portraits here's a sample.

and here's the cheat table: Rune Factory 5_.CT

Special Thanks to: Pongozila and Cake-San for releasing and updating the cheat table, enjoy! ;)

Upload one previously edited portrait as a test.
In the game, there are seven images of the same outfit with different expressions, and this image seems to be one of the swimming costume outfits.BU_Ali02_200.png.cb2dba8820898ada679c395f85c8d697.png

The steam release is here! I was wondering if anyone who has the game unpacked could try throwing this portrait swap in and see how it turns out.

I can also make some portrait edits, but I don't currently have the ability to put it into the game. If there's interest, I'd say we start trying it out now. ?

At least the modifications were made.
However, it is a bit tedious as there are many images that need to be replaced for one outfit.

Spoiler

Replacing one image is not enough to display even a normal portrait

Well hey, that's still pretty dang impressive. Nice art, and it's good to know that it's possible to actually mod it in.

I grabbed a sheet from the spriter's resource for Fuuka, would that be the best place to start if I wanted to try my hand at an edit?

Since the table is not very self-explanatory:

there's 3 options under "PlayerModel"

The first is the main model.

0 for male protag

1 for female protag

then the 6 bachelorettes (2-7)

Then the 6 bachelors (8-13)

then the various villagers (14-26)

Then your children (27-29)

then the guests (30-31)

then 2 more villagers (32-33)

there is also "HairType" but I could not find anyone where any value except 0 did anything

"VariationNo" is the costume. 0 is default clothes, 1 and 2 are empty, 3 is pajamas, 4 is swimsuit, 5 is marriage

These only apply to the main chars and marriage candidates plus Julian and Hina and your children

the main chracters have more outfits after.

6-8  are 3 variations of girly adventurer

9-11 are 3 variations of butler outfit

12-13 are 3 variations of knight outfit

15-17 are empty

18-20 are magician outfit

21-34 are dlc outfits

35 is empty

36-39 is extra dlc outfits

to trigger a model update in the game, you best use the PlayerCostumeChange script. activate it, set to 0 or 3 or 4 or 5 for those who have those outfits. Others, like Simone, only work via 0. The script doesn't work if your old and new variation ID at the same, so you need to be in some not-0 variation before switching to Simone or other villagers that only accept ID 0

Thanks for covering the tutorial part. And i would like to add that character model swap, doesn't work well with story events, you will always revert back to the main protagonist default model, so yeah you gotta swap back everytime.

Pawsome work as always! even if it's a little tedious to do so, i still see it as a win. The art in RF5 is Top Notch, so yeah let's work together so we can make the most of this game and have some real fun ;)

I haven't tested this, but I suspect that either by freezing the value or updating via variation script in the cutscene might work. It could also just be that they load an entirely different model with different rigging. I'll see about that.

I already tried it all on my end but feel free to do it, it's good to have more than one insight. Also i noticed it works for the "Go to sleep" animation if you freeze the value but if you use anything other than the "Pajamas" it will freeze the game, as for the events, only the character voices are kept while the model is reverted back to the default one.

Do you know if normal protagonist costumes are kept for story scenes, like Alice swimsuit?
