The DarkSlayer Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 DOA5LR (ps4), stages that are missing from the pc version are insane. Skilled players can practically combo an opponent to death in one juggle under the right conditions. Also playing Hardware Rivals and Darkest Dungeon.
Pkatt Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 haven't posted on this thread in a while.   For me, right now, its Dirt Rally, Fallout 4, and Rocket League.  Â
Chaos63 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Life is Strange. I have to say even though I love those games, it really makes Walking Dead and Game of Thrones look, well...basically half assed. The lip animation is kinda weird, but the music is beautiful and the story is nothing short of amazing. Hell, I ALMOST cried at the end. ME! CRYING! Honestly surprised I haven't heard of it before, it's really good.
ThatSeasonsGal Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Almost finished with Assasin's Creed IV, now starting Deus Ex. Satisfied on both endsÂ
Killing Joke Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Marvel Heroes. I'm not into comic books at all so it didn't have any appeal to me first, but it's surprisingly good. Community's also alright which is uncommon for a game that isn't niche. Aside, I'm also a bit into a nostalgia trip and playing Secret of Mana.
M.BISON Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I'm on my second playthrough of Chrono Trigger on an SNES emulator for Android. you can buy chrono trigger in the playstore or is the snes version better?
the_mess Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The DS version is the best version of Chrono Trigger tbh.
Renstars Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Currently I'm playing a lot of random indie games that I bought from humble bundles.. I've recently gotten back into skyrim for some reason, I get that itch every once in a while and I end up modding the shit out of it.
Chaos63 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Just finished Alpha Protocol for the first time and holy donkey balls is it amazing. The amount of personal choices you can make in this game and the differences it makes in the long run are fucking insane. I'm going in for the second time and there's 124123123 things I plan to do differently, honest to say I am more hyped for this playthrough than I was for the first one. It's kind of like a non-bullshit Mass Effect and Deus Ex HR had a love child and he became a super spy. Play. This. Shit.
Vykroft Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Well I'm back to M&B Warband, I just unpack all my edited files and mod again the game with the last version of those files. And in the meantime, waiting for Bannerlord to be released, waiting for 2020, or something like this....
Angrybird Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Brutal Doom, too little ammo for my taste but otherwise fun game.
M.BISON Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I'm playing KoToR, on my Android smartphone.  It's the full game too, just like the console version.  The only difference is the controls being optimized for mobile devices. you can install mods on it as well, i remember reading it somewhere but i dont have the game as its not compatible with z5 street fighter 5, been so long since i played sf and bison is siiiick is this game but i keep doing sf4 combo's accidentally  got to get used to the new system
aljustineg Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Dragon age origin still trying to understand how this game works so i can start modding it Â
The DarkSlayer Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Brutal Doom, too little ammo for my taste but otherwise fun game. Â You get a backpack further into the game which increases your ammo capacity. Â Playing the Division Beta. It's alright. Also Paragon, Overwatch and Skullgirls 2nd encore, I don't have to wait for a couple of months for the rest of the content *cough*sfv*cough*cough*. Made me appreciate Bandai Namco taking their time with Tekken 7 FR. lol Â
bjornk Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I never was able to finish the second part of "A Dance with Rogues", a NWN mod, so I wanted to give it another go today and continue from where I left off about two years ago... Turns out not only I've forgotten how to play the damn game, I can't even find where I had stored all my loot... Damn!
Kaz Aanh Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Finished xcom2 2x times, and making a rest before playing 3rd time with some mods  so yeah back to dorf fortress to check out new update with taverns, mercenaries, bookworms and poetic crap  i dont plan to buy any kind of new AAA games anytime soon
M.BISON Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 i can understand why casual gamers think sf5 is an incomplete game because it is missing the single player options that most casual's are only interested in BUT capcom have said time and time again that the game will be bare bones at release and you can get all the dlc characters for free! by playing the game  now you're probably wondering why release an incomplete game? because of EVO and capcom pro tour, they released it early for their fanbase, they was targeting the competitive side of there fans, so they did them a favour imo but i still understand why casual fighting game players would be angry  now back to training
The DarkSlayer Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Didn't realize "hardcore gamers" like their burgers without any patties. lol Blazblue: Central fiction and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator is nearing western release anyways. It pays to be patient. Â Â
Nikiea Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Refunded my copy of SFV actually. It Isn't that complex compared to Arc system work games. People on the online lobby just jumping all around hoping to land the first hit then a follow up combo, it was hilarious. Â Also playing MHX, thank god I have a cousin that knows japanese.
M.BISON Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 exactly the "meat" is already there, the rest is coming later fwith no extra charge, thats all the fighting game community needs for offline sessions and tournaments or the hardcore gamer(?) again it was released early in time for evolution 2016. its not like the players are going to be playing story/challenge mode in a tournament lol  either way i have read both sides of the story and agree/disagree with both sides as well.  me personally i would not have minded a longer wait but having it early is also fun as i have a local scene with active offline players     Â
The DarkSlayer Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Lol, that whole early release is meant for tournament argument is weaksause since Tekken 7: FR is also present at Evo 2016 and the game doesn't even have a solid console release date yet.
joeprotecj Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 How will the participants practice if the game isn't out yet?
The DarkSlayer Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 There are arcade cabinets set in certain locations so if people want to get good at the game, they need seek them out and practice there. Now that's hardcore right there. lol
