The Crow is one of the best cult classics around. Change my mind.

Such a classic. What Miramax did to him and his family is awful.

Brandon Lee, hands down the best Crow.

They would continue that tradition of shitty behavior up until such time as WB literally evaporated the company for causing more lawsuits than every other studio combined and took over their properties.

They killed him just to save a hundred bucks. Such a tragedy. He was amazing.

Not what I heard. But who really knows? His father died under mysterious circumstances as well I think.

From what I know they sent the weapons expert home early to save money. Kinda similar to what happened to Alec Baldwin

I've talked to ppl about it and read stuff that there did seem to be a connection between Brandon and his dad's death and that neither were 'accidents'. Bruce crossed some powerful ppl back in China, died there under dubious circumstances. Retribution for crossing the wrong ppl in certain parts of the world means your whole family dies. Could just be rumors though.

I have a trench coat that's identical to The Crow - City of Angels. Sure, the first movie can't be beat, but I also liked the two that came after. Mia Kirshner had such a sweet and innocent face back then.

The Crow, The Big Lebowsky, Office Space, Super Troopers, Clerks, all amazing cult classics, and I could keep going. I love me some "low budget" "flop" films.

Depends. But I would rather watch a low budget film over Hollywood trash any day.

I appreciated the movie gave me both Bai Ling and Michael Wincott.  Hard to believe Ling was 28 which puts her around 56 now - damn!

Imagine the turmoil that James O'Barr went through.  He wrote the book after losing his wife to a drunk driver, the book being his means to deal with the tragedy. Essentially, he was the Crow.  Okay...  well a revenant brought back for revenge if you want to be specific.  When they were working on the movie, he and Brandon became great friends.  But when Brandon died, he was thrown back into that pit of despair.

That is even more depressing.
