Dunno about the rest of the modders here at LL but my free time has always been fairly limited. Between being a natural procrastinator and having a severe free time deficiency, I'm surprised I can mod anything at all. Heck look how long I was promising a positioning mod with how long it actually took to release one ;)

 

In this thread, feel free to post mod ideas you would love to make IF you had the time. Perhaps some of the lurkers or newb modders might like to tackle one of these ideas to break into modding at LL.

 

OK, sexout mods I'd make if I had the time...

 

Idea #1

A complete furniture mod that expands on the animations and properly positions actors on any furniture. Dialogue to allow NPCs to be asked by the player to "go to a bed" or "let's bang on the pool table" or "let's get all freaky and X over there on the Y". Packages to allow NPCs to autonomously use furniture on their own with other NPCs (for example, NPC husband and wife NPCs who sleep in a double bed or prostitutes at the Gomorrah servicing customers).

 

Idea #2

A generic faction dialogue mod that provides complete access to Sexout that is faction and lore friendly so that each faction has generic dialogue allowing for Sexout interaction that fits seamlessly into existing generic faction dialogue.

 

Idea #3

BBW body shape and clothing. What can I say... sometimes I like em to have a little extra...

 

Idea #4

A complete overhaul of my skeleton to make a truly universal skeleton that handles all existing creatures, all existing humans AND provides additional bones to add the ability to use skirts, animated ears, animated tails, animated wings, animated tongues, animated genitalia, etc..

 

Idea #5

More games other than Caravan and the standard casino games along with a nice generic UI overhaul to facilitate adding more games by those less literate with the UI system (including a generic slot machine system with dynamic graphics).

 

Idea #6

Modifying NVSE and/or the extender to provide FULL support for dynamic arrays and strings.

Modifying NVSE and/or the extender to provide FULL support for full read/write access to actors in memory.

Modifying NVSE and/or the extender to provide FULL support for reading and writing files from/to disk.

Modifying NVSE and/or the extender to provide FULL support for animating terrain.

 

Idea #7

Adding realistic physics to ALL Sexout animations to include bounce, bending penises, slapping butts, deformation, etc..

 

Idea #8

Reno. I've always wanted to make a long "road movie" mod starting in Vegas and ending up in a fully realized Reno.

 

Idea #9

The town of Pahrump, NV. IRL this is one of the towns nearest to Las Vegas that have legalized brothels. Always wanted to do a Ranchers versus Townies mod a la West Side Story/Romeo and Juliet set in a town that got almost all of its identity from selling fireworks and providing legal prostitution and being one of the last gas stations between Vegas and those heading over the mountains to CA (mainly to Mammoth).

 

Idea #10

A comprehensive system to handle incarceration, bonds, restraints, ropes, handcuffs, etc. that includes proper walking while restrained, crawling while restrained, being leashed to another NPC and so on.

 

Anyway, that's my list of things I'd do if I had the time... none of which are trivial or even remotely easy (though some are just buttloads of grunt work). Feel free to post your own...

 

Oh.. please don't quote this wall of text in your replies. We don't need to have one of those threads with RSI-inducing scrolling required.

One that I've been thinking of lately is a "designated target/partner" type mod. Something that works similar to the new Lust functionality that marks NPCs for lust tracking, that marks an NPC is "claimed", either by the player or another NPC.

 

The purpose of this would be twofold:

  • For mods like lust or hookups that can make NPCs approach the player or each other for sex, they'll go to their "designated partner" first, and only to others if that first choice isn't available.
  • For things like married or dating couples, if one is attacked the other will defend them. Possibly even add rape detection, and if one is raped the other will attack the rapist.

Dunno if any of this is even doable, just an idea I had.

Ehm, something I've been thinking of would be to write an episodic series of quests around your character being a high-class escort. You'd have an agent, a bodyguard (attraction there could be a nice little sidestory, will-they-won't-they) and be sent to different powerful people, with different needs & expectations. I'd keep it pretty Hollywood really, light but with enough drama, no rough stuff. Pretty Womanish. Think Secret Diary of a London Call Girl, Satisfaction (the Australian series), that sort of thing. Of course for any of that to work, I'd need npc's and new locations. No way the new power brokers would keep living in dumps, so they'd need places to live with clean walls etc. too. So yeah, pie in the sky.

 

Kain: I think it is doable. It would take planning though - and other mods to play along.

It will be nice to make smth like "Cursed!"(anonymousmangames.blogspot.com/p/cursed.html) -- just in its plain

"slice-of-city-life" simulation, maybe with thin mystic scent, but without any of its 'fantasy-expansion' features,  

such as furry\cow\dragon mutations (so called "TF"). Though its possible to involve some mutants, mad-science or drug-effects. Most of action should go "in clean walls" and deal mostly with "clean" npc (+clean clothing, furniture etc). Nearest vanilla analog of enviroment is Strip (provided there will be some business and every-day-fastfood and shops) and vault21 (minus concrete plumbs); and some abandoned industrials or subterrain vaults for extreme actions (a la "Fight club").
PC starts choosing between some career presets - i use nicks such as "brunette" for intelligent (newsmaker or detective assistant), "redhair" as enforcer (guard or escourter), "blondy" as entertainer (sex-oriented) or office-girl,  or "violet" -- non-employed (freelance or\and criminal bound).


Hidden plot semi-randomly affects on events based on career progress, making PC choose some key decisions (mb career-changing) and so interweave different social layers lifestyles. For example, journalist can be dragged into dangerous sex-affair or got strange confession from occasional redhair bar-mate; helpless blondy can be asked for participate as bait by mate detective and so on (common movie experience brings many variants). In the lowest and mostly unseen levels there are hidden forces - standard clishe set of mad scientists (drugs and\or mutations), inter-bound security and criminal bosses interests  (drugs, budget and backstairs fights for influence), personal vendettas of big boys etc.

Undisturbed everyday citylife is (mainly, in civil\public places) secured by very tough forces, what applies restrictions on unlicensed weapon carrying (enforcers could), and such other acts. Disturbing events, like drunk aggression, rape\robbery attempt or mutant invasion change rules temporarily, but overpowered security intrusion _mostly_ comes  within minutes.

Appartments for sleep\being are hire-out (different levels of wealth). Food\drink\sleep needs are typical for vanila.

Everyday PC life consists of professional (if any) activity, own stats improvement, diseases\pregnancy caretaking, shopping\entertainment, some lazyness, and may be interrupted with occasional random events (bringing some loses or prizes).

But - vs "cursed!" main feature, I do not want any kind of "magic aunt" Marie, governing pc time to time, all decisions must be all on player.

What I occasionally fight with is a dialogue/message mod.  Something to add more options (ask for rough and get more aggressive animations, banter about pregnancy risk promising to cum inside/not cum inside/ask if they think it would be safe if they came inside) and more messages, including an impregnation one and a building one soon before the end of sex.  Basically an expantion of sexoutsex with more chatter and sex/preg messages

I have not skill and geck gives me a migraine  when working with it although trying learn scripting since does not pose problem but I like do mod with paradise falls in new vegas but more well with more sexout in it.

You can actually create an OBJ file with the head morphed any way you want it to be morphed and then import that OBJ as a new morph into the tri file. If you check out my Fix for Head06 Grin mod for Oblivion, I have a downloadable txt file detailing how to edit tri files to add/replace morph targets. If you own a full copy of FaceGen, it's MUCH easier and you can follow my howto in the txt file. You can simply move the sliders and export the expression as an obj file.

 

If you don't own a copy of FaceGen, it's more like the following:

 

Export an OBJ file of just the head mesh and save it as your base.

For each expression you want to add as a morph, copy the base OBJ file.

Edit each OBJ file to create the expression you want as a morph target in the tri file.

Use Scanti's AddMorph utility to add a new named morph target to the tri file.

 

Now, with all that said, I know what you actually want and yeah... a full facial/head armature would be great.

What I would want to do, if I was any good at modding, is a driven story quest, where the player character was blackmailed-forced-captured-enslaved, with a real training on the player who finally will be broken and totally accepts her slave position.

 

I don´t really like the repetitions that actual system forces to set (like "fucking 20 guys/creatures to get X mission done"), I would prefer less sex scenes, but more intense/longer (something like the Skyrim mod (wip) Dark Investigations), and something more based on BDSM animations than in purely sex scenes.

 

Unfortunatelly, I don´t have any hability on blender, I tried it, but is too much for me to start from zero knowledge about 3D, and I am still learning how to use GECK, and I don´t have any knowledge about scripting, so...only my dream mod... :(

Speaking of mechanism to break slaves, I see no problem to manage that by sex abuse or sex pain cause we have enough anims in Sexout and ZAZ.

 

But does anyone know a set of anims concerning non-sexual tortures or non-sexual brutal acts so we could break slave with other things than sex ?

 

Difference between broken and non-broken slaves is important in a slave mod.

  I've been really enjoying Sexout; it's a really impressive group effort!

 

A few things I would like to see:

 

1: Post-sex animations - That afterglow feeling, or conversely PTSD symptoms

following rape for those who would appreciate that sort of thing. 

 Have the character lay there for a while in a puddle of cum, with some masturbation

or heavy breathing following sex, as an example. I know there is a climax animation

already, but's it's really too short for my tastes.

 

2: Get the old Sexus urination animation working again, only have it triggered as

part of a dominance/submission thing or as an adjunct to non-consensual sex.

 Have urination applied as a voluntary and potentially hostile act as well.

 As an example, I had my character piss in Alastair Tenpenny's bed as a gesture

of contempt back in Fallout 3 (she also pissed on his carpet, the fountain out front,

the lobby, off his balcony and at Chief Gustavo) ... I guess she was a bit pissed off :lol:

Attach fame or infamy to the act, such as when peeing on a character's bed.

 

3: Bondage sex, with props like those in the Slave In Pose pose set. Add the ability

to use vibrators in conjunction with props as a means of torture.

 

4: A working riding crop/whip that makes use of blood decals or some similar method.

- leaves a temporary mark, and would be used with bondage props. 

 

5: Use the player character's name in dialog occasionally.

 

6: Romance!!! The ability to add foreplay prior to sex; consensual sex could have

a little oral action or masturbation prior to the act. Kissing would be cool, although

it could also be potentially hideous given the limitations imposed by the base game.

 

7: More persistent fluids, have semen act like blood decals for more realistic

wet shots.

 

8: Facial expressions, of course.

 

 I'd actually be willing to aquire some skills to help out; I'm not sure which skills

are the most valued here. I'd probably have to concentrate on one or two.

 

 I could contribute my proofreading skills for dialog; there are places in Sexout

where the dialog is a bit awkard - the English is understandable but sentence

structures and grammar are incorrect or the words used are not a good fit

with contemporary speech. Hopefully I'm not stepping on anyone's toes

here by mentioning this.

If you have the skills and time, the area in most need of help is animation. I think we currently only have 1 or 2 animators.

If you, or anyone else working on a Sexout mod wants

to have their dialog proofread I would be happy to do

that. Just send me a text file and I will edit and return

it. Some notes about the context/situations related to

the dialog would be useful as well so I can choose the

most appropriate words or phrases. This is something

I can contribute with my current skills.

 

I will look into some tutorials on animation; I have

already installed Nifskope and Blender, although my

installations are Fallout 3 specific, if that makes

any difference. I'd love to be able to contribute

some face animations, if there is a way to make

Sexout able to use them.

If I could, I'd love to make stuff that's not generic, but tailored to the situation. E.g. instead of generic dialogue, I'd love having various npcs coming up with lewd suggestions. Especially the named npcs in the casinos.

 

Rapes where the rape isn't forgotten afterwards. Mocking, scorning or abusing the victim.

 

Prostitution that isn't generic, but tailored into the plot.

 

Reactivity. E.g. companions scorning the PC for using prostitutes or being one, up to the point where they leave the PC.

 

A prostitution mod where the involved parts isn't humping on the floor in front of every one, but go somewhere private.

 

Dialogue written for male characters toward female npcs, likewise with wicked sugestions. Sex instead of caps as payment, e.g.

 

Stuff like that. ;) Unfortunately I am no modder, so I can only fantasize. :D

I know nothing about modding New Vegas (or any other Bethesda game) but if I did, I'd add poker tables to the casinos.

 

Seriously.  Vegas without poker is like the red light district without prostitutes.
