Beware of the Eggs


Open Pandora's box !

Open a chest, pick a flower, harvest a mushroom, switch a dwarven lever, check a barrel and more.

You never know what happens next.

New chars and weak PC set chances to 0, at least for the start.

Lot's of new spells, cast on NPC to raise the arousal, chast yourself to raise arousal, trink a potion.

Books, recipes distributed among adventure engagements.

 

 

harvesting eggs (spider or chaurus) triggers Estrus Chaurus.

The tentacle chance remains for setting in Estrus Chaurus.

I am aware, there is a mod doing it, but this one has a completely different approach.

It casts the spell "poison spit" to trigger. This has an area, followers nearby will be hit, too.

CHANCE TRIGGER SPELL IS INDEPENDED FROM ESTRUS CHAURUS/DWEMER TENTACLE CHANCE.

Estrus Chaurus/Dwemer handles the spell hit like it comes from a Chaurus oder Dwemer spider !

 

Without Estrus Chaurus, it's a normal poison hit.

There is a chance of 30% to trigger a magical discharge. If it hits you (very likely), this discharge will trigger

Estrus Dwemer if you have it installed.

This can be attached to evrything, well, I would not do it on teleport activators.

But every plant, chopping block, lever, can be dangerous now, if you interact (harvest e.g.)

I will think a little bit, what will make sense.

Test it at Sarethi farm ;)

I love this idea! I have to ask though; Is there some sort of timing or cooldown effect? I can imagine certain areas where I could potentially get hit several times just trying to move through the area. I dont mind getting attacked here and there but Id hate to have to go through a full estrus event 5-10 times just trying to get through certain areas.

It only activates if you harvest.

Harvesting e.g a nirnroot has 30% to trigger. This trigger will trigger estrus dwemer with a chance you set.

Just touching will not trrigger, you must activate by harvesting.

P.S. - I might make a mod that increases the rarity, power and value of Chaurus Eggs to make them more worth taking a risk for!

Estrus is made for female.

But even then it should trigger as set. Just tested it, needed to click at leat 8 times

 

On V2.1 the chance is set to 20%. reduced from 30%

2 times in a row alternative spell, 3 times nothing, 6th activation estrus spell.

This is random and independend of estrus chaurus. 

Estrus chaurus setting is the chance to get infected and play animation.

My mod only triggers estrus chaurus, like a spit from a chaurus.

 

Actually, during testing I got a funny incident. As I use female harvesting animation, the spell aimed too high and hit a follower behind me.

My followers are set to harvest. So the next follower collected eggs and triggered the spell.

For you, leave the settings as they are (not estrus chaurus, this is independend)

This mod work without estrus, estrus chaurus, estrus spider, as they all trigger with modified vanilla spell. I don't need those as masters.

I'm talking about completely different thing. Mod description says that it respects mcm tentacle chance while its not. Male/Female doesn't have anything with that, and yet I'm playing female. Any chance above 10% is way too much for me and becomes annoying.

You can probably make your own mcm with your own chance probability setting, or at least set it as global setting value so it can be configured with a console, if you want to avoid making new masters. Setting it to a fixed value is a way to kill all the fun, unless user know how to edit/recompile (I do, but can't be bothered with)

Nothing is mentioned like that. It's complete independend from estrus tentacle chance.

Chance chest cast spell. Period.

Chance spell hit triggers estrus tentacle (setting estrus, same as a chaurus hit) period.

If you cannot handle this, just do not install it.

first, english is not my first language.

the sentence refers to the sentence above, estrus chaurus will be triggered.

chance estrus play is the same or, for you, remains the same setting in estrus (will not be changed)

If you read through the complete description, you will see what it does.

It seems to work and is understandable for lots of people apparently. If you don't like it, why not just move on.

Guys like you make me thinking stop uploading stuff. If it becomes annoying, to upload, it makes no more sense to me.

I think it's time to create the mcm menu. It is also worth remembering that DCL to some extent does the same thing as this mod.
The mod is interesting, I will observe its further development. Unfortunately, I can’t join the testing, as the moment of reinstalling windows is approaching
