Were you using v3 beta or v2? I'm going to upload v3 soon - tonight or tomorrow. It should be fixed in v3.

I wanted to know, do you have any ideas about Vampires? Maybe they shouldn't feel pain, or they'll never be able to become a Queen of Size because they have everything back in the physical plane at the time of their conversion. Or maybe virgin vampires will always be like that.

Having a crash with this mod. Not sure if it's conflicting with something else I have. Game doesn't even make it to the main menu screen with v3 installed. Yes I deleted localthumbcache and didn't over write when updating.

Anytime I use this mod my game crashes to desktop and I have the needed wicked whims, anyone might know whay the problem is?

I have the same error as B and J. Game crash when loading. Removed this mood and fine. Im getting tired of all this, think its worse to make mods. EA updates - its like they want to avoid or disrupt mods. Some mods are updated, others not. Errors in game, remove mods. Then sims 4 works again until a new update.. Wonder if its worth to keep on playing..

I don't know, I have yesterday's update and a new game set, everything works with this mod.

You can just leave your config file there. You can overwrite the package and ts4script files. The .config file is specific to your personal settings, so (unless there's a mistake) you shouldn't ever see a .config inside a download/release.

1) Do you have the mod in a subdirectory of the /mods folder or at the root of the /mods folder? It should be something like this /mods/sirsleepy/<the files>.

 

2) Also, I'm assuming you have the latest game version and latest WW versions? If not, can you post your version info.

 

3) Do you have a "LastCleanException.txt" file from the crash? If so, please upload those to the thread or DM the files to me. Thanks.

 

4) Finally, was a "sirsleepy_Big_Dick_Problems.config" file created? If so, add the following line inside of the "[BDP_CONFIG]" section:

It should look something like this:

With the LogLevel set to 100, it will create a massive log file (so remove that line afterwards). The mod will create a "sirsleepy_big_dick_problems.log" file. with detailed information on what was loaded by the mod. If the log file is empty or doesn't get created, then the mod isn't even being loaded.

 

5) Can you look inside the files to make sure the file download wasn't corrupted? You can use S4Studio to open package files. You can use WinZip (or 7z) to open ts4script files (just rename .ts4script to .zip, but remember to rename it back).

I keep on playing without issues but stopped updating my Game at v 1.81.

Disable automatic game updates on Origin/Steam and play offline.

 

Then I just ignore the notifications of new Mod updates as all my Mods are working fine with my current game version.

(You can try new WW versions but always keep a backup of the previous version in case you need to roll back).

 

Got fed up with all the EA garbage updates and mod breakage.

I have WW and related mods in the root of my mods folder because I read that putting things in subdirectories can cause issues. My version of WW is the latest. There was a log file there in the directory before I deleted the mod so I could play. I opened the zip file with 7z and hit the test button, it didn't report any errors. Other than that I'm not sure how to check files. I don't have the last exception file. I went to the exception assistant website to check if it was something in the database and it was complaining the file was old so I deleted it. My apologies that I can't be much more help. I don't know much about this stuff.

I'd suggest trying to create a subdirectory and putting BDP mod in that subdirectory. I think that might be the root cause of the problem - or at least one thing to consider.

Tried it just now. Same result. Just crashes to desktop after sims logo comes up and the game starts to load up. Doesn't make it to the main menu screen. No logs or config files created. Removed the mod/folder and game runs.

This randomly happens to me sometimes as well with any update to my /mods folder. Not sure if you're also using Steam\Origin launcher or not, but I always try a second time and it usually works. Did you happen to try a second time after it crashed the first time? Mods aren't loaded until after the logo screen appears. I believe before the logo screen appears, it just does a file system check and if there's any corrupted files then it crashes like that.

New version of WW 170.2 has been released, i recommend to update to the latest one because it was making a mess with the old save files (i you use patreon version or the new 167f public version). 

About the crashes i confirm what @sirsleepy says, everytime i run for the first time the game after a new patch sometimes it crash because it recreates new files from 0 (i usually delete the EA folder (previously moving all mods/save files/tray files to other folder) completly to force my game recreates a new one) and after that i run the game WITHOUT MODS. When its loaded i configure the gameplay i want, set on scripts and other things and then i do a new reload from 0 again just to confirm all is ok. After a 3rd exit then is when i start adding mods and checking then one by one.

I tried a few times. gets as far as the plumbob spinning, music playing, connects to Origin, then poof crash.

If you installed the update, then the sirsleepy_Big_Dick_Problems.config file should already be created for you, and when overwriting the updated mod files, everything will work fine.
Today I accidentally discovered this joke. If this configuration file is not present, then the game crashes at the time of loading. This will affect all new users of the mod and those who delete EVERYTHING before updating, instead of deleting only the updated files.

Thanks. I uploaded 3.01 version with the .config file. I'll fix that for next release.

Ok. Good news. I was able to reproduce the error and code a fix for it. I'll update the downloads to 3.1 soon. I just need a bit of time to reassemble everything. 

 

Edit: Version 3.1 has now been uploaded. This should fix the game crashing problems when the .config file doesn't exist. If anyone is using 3.1 and still has a problem. Let me know.
