Devious Devices RC Fusion Girl 1.80 Conversion

View File

This is a conversion for the Devious Devices RC version.

Required:

Devious Devices RC8+ located here:  https://mega.nz/file/6bx2jSzA#EZXcVKg04VSvudHURBzRuK_8nA4pidydpfUV9dGIPP8

Any requirements from the original Devious Devices (just the requirements, do not download the original Devious Devices) located here:

Fusion Girl and all its requirements located here:

Any previous conversion version created by me is obsolete.

There are 200 items in Devious Devices.  Though I tried to take great care in not missing anything, don't be surprised if I did.  I do not have the time or patience to check 200+ items in game from a single mod.  :)

All my conversions are good for up too, maybe a little bigger in proportions to the 7base body.  If you insist on having extreme sized asses and boobs expect clipping around the edges of some outfits you will have to fix yourself in body slide.

Fusion Girl Discord:  https://discord.gg/e6AEeW87pX

*****If you are having issues with your preset not showing here is what you do.

Make sure you have your preset ready.

Click "Save As" and you will see a popup with all the groups you have in BodySlide.

Where it says "Custom" fill that in with the name of your preset exactly.

Click the boxes next to the groups you want to add to your preset, then click save.*****

My other conversions: (more will be added as I finish updating all my older conversions)

Thanks! Does this include HHS offsets like my updates to wdaigle's and JB's conversions, or is it more suitable for non-HHS users?

I came here to ask the same question.  ?

Well I dunno, all I did was convert, made sure all the heels worked with the feet. HHS takes care of height adjustments when you use heels.

Okay, I think that answers my question. The one I'm maintaining includes the HHS height adjustment data, while this one does not.

Well that's defiantly your prerogative, the HHS system isnt required just for the conversion, a lot of people have it though to use with DD and they can maintain it themselves through the MCM, I dont feel the need to maintain it for a conversion.   I just made sure the feet work in the heels.

So now I have a question as I set up my new game.

Before today I just had DD 2.0 that was on the main DD page and no updates from the support thread.  I also had DD Face Morphs 2.0 installed.  At some point I had downloaded a conversion for DD for FG 1.75.  I also have another file labeled (at least in my MO) Devious Devices Fusion Girl Bodyslide (HHS) 1.2  Is that last one the file that you maintain @vaultbait?  If so is it for DD 2.0 or one of the later RC versions?

Seeing this new file today from @Boceifus I went and also got RC8 and the MCM patch and new script library patch along with the new FG conversion.

Just for curiousity, I activated both old and new BS files in MO and nothing is overwriting anything (at least not the two BS conversions).  Now I'm a little perplexed which file set to run with.

Thank you to both of you for putting in the work to make these conversions.

Oh, it wasn't an active choice. DD doesn't ship the height data for its various heeled outfits, but wdaigle's and JB's conversions I updated had them do I didn't delete them.

That's probably Boceifus's older conversion (its download page has since been deleted) which this new one is replacing.

No, it's an upgrade of that in the support comments here. I didn't set up a separate file page for it yet because the new DD hasn't been officially released yet, so I was waiting for that to happen.

Edit: Technically it's not just an upgrade of that one, because it also incorporates the FG conversion from JB's Slave Heels mod which was absorbed into the new DD development effort, along with various fixes to those and some from scratch conversions and mash-ups for the new items included in RC8.

The FG 1.75 was made when I was still pretty green to doing conversions.  Always wanted to come back and re do it wasn't until recently I had the time.  Instead of just going through each item I just decided to start from scratch for the  most recent FG body.  Then vaultbait told me about the RC version, I had no idea it was out there until the other day, so I went ahead and made the re do for the RC8 version which included some new stuff. Now if they add new stuff when they fully release it on its own page it wont take much to convert new stuff, I am ahead of it now and I wont have to spend time converting 200 items <.<.    Technically it would still work with the DD 2.0 but you wont get any of the new stuff from the RC version.

Vaultbait is just doing awesome and a little extra maintaining the HHS stuff which you can get here if you want to utilize the HHS system with this conversion:  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39850.  A lot of mods require this anyway so that's why I don't see a need do anything with it in my conversions since most people will have it to begin with and can make their own adjustments through the MCM.

I removed my 1.75 version as it had some..goofy... stuff in it and the DD 2.0 isn't being maintained anymore.

Also, the new wont overright those old ones because of the name difference.  FG - DDRC is for the RC8 version were as FG - Devious Devices is the old.

VaultBait and Boceifus, thank you both for your explanations.

I haven't played FO4 in years, and downloaded most of my mods for this playthrough about 3 months ago, set them up and then put everything aside while waiting for Ivy 6.0 and another mod to drop.

I do have the HHS system already installed.  As long as I can configure things in the MCM, I think this new conversion is they way to go while using the data/text files from Vaultbait as a guide for the offsets.  Once I get in game I should be able to figure it out.

The last time I played FO4 none of this stuff was even created yet.

I don't quite understand how to use this mod.

I need to copy this mod into original Devious Devices folder and delete the old one? and do I need to do something else after?

I'm new to modding ?

Like the vast majority of clothing conversions, to use this you'll need to install the mod it's a conversion for (in this case Devious Devices 2.1 RC8 available from the support comments for the DD mod) along with this conversion, by using a modern mod manager like MO2 or Vortex. After that, you should select the group for this conversion in BodySlide, and batch build with morphs for your preferred Fusion Girl body preset. It should go without saying that you'll also need to install all the prerequisites for Devious Devices 2.1 RC8, as well as BodySlide and all its prerequisites, and Fusion Girl with all its prerequisites (see the mod description for links to these dependencies or find them on LL and Nexus).

If you're very new to modding, this is a rather tall order. You may instead want to consider starting smaller, and working up to something more complicated like this.

I also added the link to it in the description of the conversion, easier to find :)

Thank you very much, I somehow make it working now ?

DD RC8 requires HHFootsteps.esp, where do i get this?

Good catch. Maybe it can get included? For now, I appear to be using this:

Yeah, found it in the DD support thread, maybe it would make sense to link the release post of RC8 instead of the mega link? (it's on page 137)

Anyway, thanks for the fast reply! :)

Does Devious Devices RC have a page for itself other than the Mega link? I'm having some issues with it the MCM menu in game is having some display issues so I'm under the impression I've missed a requirement or something to make it malfunction. Still trying to get my new game set up not proceeding till issues have been resolved with DD RC.

Edit: Found it there's a config file in this post that can be used to patch Devious Devices RC8 to fix the MCM display issue this needs to be put into the original Mega download but till then here you go

You've found it, but just to confirm, yes the DD support topic is the place to discuss both the current 2.0 release and the in-development previews like RC8.

I added the link to it in the mod description to make it easier to find instead of trying to dig through so many posts.  but the the DD thread is where to discuss issues, as far as the conversion I ran across one with a problem so far I am unsure how to fix, the laytex armbinders, let me know if you are having issues with it or if its just me.

Well, the fast workaround are using the base DD bodyslide to built the plugs.

The solution I used in the other DD FG+HHS conversion was to just remove all the slidersets for the plugs/vibrators. From what I can see, they don't need morphs anyway.
