Goofing around and found out that Google fucking translates Klingon. Did some digging and found this.

What other things can you find? A list of made-up languages that are most popular:

Dothraki – Game of Thrones.
Valyrian (also High Valyrian)
Quenya – Lord of the Rings.
Sindarin -- Lord of the Rings.
Klingon – Star Trek.
Vulcan – Star Trek.
-  Thu'um - Skyrim (will there be a test on this?:classic_tongue:)

? Actually, the last isolation year made me try out to learn new languages. Among them  :

  • High Valyrian
  • Esperanto

I didn't try Klingon since I tried that when I was still in university

He's not the only one... and wow, back to STAR TREK ?

I may be wrong, but I think the whole dang movie is on Youtube for free. :P

Back when the internet was ran by nerds (MBAs hadn't started monetizing everything) Google Translate would translate the following non-sensitcal saying into a "Fatal Error"

Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!

This was based off of a Monty Python Skit about the most dangerous joke in the world that would kill anyone who heard it (presumably in English).

Holy shit. I didn't realise that was still going. ?

It's not like Auntie Beeb to give up on what will bring eyes, or ears in this case, to iPlayer. Except where they've gone and remade with Names du jour, so no Valentine Dyall Appointment With Fear episodes 'cause Mark Gatiss liked them so much he got to do them. Which is a shame because Dyall's voice was incredible and talented as Gatiss is, he can't lengthen his vocal chords. They'll still exist as well because radio's cheap to keep, especially in the digital age.

A modern equivalent to Round the Horne with, say, a non-binary Julian and Sandy will be out there somewhere, just not on the BBC because it's not like Auntie to get with the times either.
