Regular Alderson works just fine, so something is not right with the jobs from the special districts. You might either have a mod interfering or no pops assigned to those jobs. I found I had to disable some jobs cause my pops were all getting assigned to either comfort worker or concubine regardless of which jobs i set as priority. also doesnt help that if you build a building (not district) that gives either of those jobs the more pops you have the more of those jobs become available. The Milk cow districts gives Jobs; but the jobs produce nothing. If you start a new game with -18 food and after one month its still negative, you'll know its not working properly in the Sex Alderson start.

I just decided to test the bug you and saw that when you use the Sex Alderson Disc start none of your pops are assigned jobs. That's why you are getting the negative food. At least thats what my tests are showing. Is this the problem you are encountering?

No the problem is that the job is being actively worked on but it produces nothing. Did you confirm if the "milk cow" job being worked produces food or not?

I started a new save and saw the -18 you were talking about. then I went to the population tab where I saw that none of my pops were assigned a job and prioritized milk cow, then I hit fast forward until the new month hit and my food went positive. I was gonna mess with everything until I figured out what was causing it but it got fixed first try

Mainly because I noticed gigastructure decided to rework the alderson disk again. I can probably throw something together this week. EDIT: I checked the files and it looks like nothing was renamed or removed so it should still work as is. That said the changes they made to the alderson disk look pretty significant so even though it should not break it's probably going to be quite broken in terms of consistency and balance assuming there ever was any to begin with. So I just had to save the file as 32bit, which does have alpha(trasnperancy). This is just for .tga file facts. IF you are having a similar issue with .dds files, then just double check that you are encoding in 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32bit. or similar.

I can change that. Good feedback. I realize also those traits probably need a refresh since Lithia has or is reworking the traits. onevillageidiot Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 (edited) The Tentacle World Civic is missing the additional Planetary Decision "Tentacle Festival" that LV's origin has. And because the Planetary Decision is unique to that origin, there's no way to get it via research. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, as LV calls it a "Bonus Effect". I know it's in progress, but there's still some things that I consider more important that haven't been implemented.
