So' date=' chase, just found something you may be interested. Turns out Slof did a rather nice hell hound. Heres the link to the download page: http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=5y6drymzrx9

Note to credit slof with the skin if you use it.

You can just do that now yourself. Just copy over the files from slof's hellhound over to your data folder. The file names are all the same so just overwrite them, only difference is that slof has 2 other additional texture files not used in loversbitch.

You know I keep hearing about stuff like "getting on all fours" and "hotkeys" but Im not seeing any of that. The readme mentions neither of this things, what are they? Oh Btw, didnt the dogs commands have a "mount me" or some similar command on top of the basic stay/follow? I swore I remember seeing it before but its not there anymore. Was it removed or changed somehow? Using the dog bone also didnt add the command in either.

You get the ability to invite dogs to mount you as part of the saving Maera quest.

Right now' date=' the player's lust level only goes up if you have the \"In Heat\" effect (from using Tamago) or from drinking a Pheromone Inducer (purchased from Rena). And the lust level only rises while playing. It doesn't rise while sleeping/waiting or from an increased timescale. It uses play-time not game-time.

Thanks!  That completely explains it.  :D

And as always, thanks so much for all your awesome work!

HaloReachMan123 that Chorrol disappearance is a vanilla bug it seems, we discussed this in another thread. LB just makes this exposed more, since you often visit Chorrol. This can be fixed temporary by traveling somewhere and then returning.

Chase' date=' take a look at this

Its a mastiff!

I know' date=' I watch SHY just as often as you do. :P

He's already been added to the dog shop. Unfortunately, the mouth doesn't move and his \"tool\" doesn't quite reach whoever he's mounting.

I tried to load this into Blender to see if I could fix it but no can do. Blender becomes permanently unresponsive, I left it running last night woke up this morning and it still wasnt loaded. So I opened the nif up in nifscope thinking to export it from there as a .obj and theres nothing there just an empty nif

If ayone else can load this into blender and save the .blend file for me it would be appreciated. Even a compatable file format from max, maya or what ever would be good.

Bah, don't go feeling like an idiot, everyone has questions.  Anywho, there isn't any specific place or person to inform you of how any of the quests begin in game.  You're supposed to naturally "come across" the quest like you would any other.  At least that is what I've come to believe from what I've read and seen.

The Maera/Wolf Cave quest starts by reading the book titled "Training Your Canine" which can be bought from Rena in Chorrol.  Your quest log will be updated on how to continue.  There is another book, "The Book of Canines" but it has no bearing on the quest as far as I've seen.  Although I haven't tested it out, the way the quest advancement is written when I opened it with the Construction Kit, you can alternatively start this quest by finding Maera's home on your own, going inside and reading the letter on the desk.  Reading the book is by far the easier of the two methods.

The Hellhound quest starts by running around the front gates of Kvatch, particularly where the Oblivion gate is/was and a quest update should appear that you heard something nearby that sounded like an Oblivion gate opened, or something to that extent.  Anyway, just make it (Trapped in Oblivion) your active quest, follow the quest arrow, and you are all set.

Any other questions or curiosities, don't hesitate to ask.  ;D

D'oh!!!! So to get on all fours and the hotkey are quest related.........well someone could have just taken 2 secs to tell me that instead of me stressing over it.....ffs.

@mixmstashn

I Pm'ed you the quest I know about to not spoil it for others by posting it here.

There's one more quest line to this mod version 5b to date. It's the Lewayin "show" for the Countess. You find it in the room to the upstairs of the throne room in Leyawin Castle.

It's funny, because if you do the Sanguine quest for the daedra Sanguine, when his statue speaks to you he tells you that the Countess is too uptight and "stuffy". Now I don't know about you, but I would hardly classify a woman who enjoys a good ole fashion dog show to be "stuffy"! In fact, I'd consider her pretty damn liberal and probably be a little frightened of her!

Chase, I was wondering if you "invitation to mount" feature works on any dog or only on dogs you have specified script wise. I was scouring for new mods to use and it was something that popped in my head when I saw one of the mods added a new dog in a player home.

I have a quick suggestion for a future update. When I did the wolf cave quest, I didn't really like their power to force you down in a moment of weakness so easily. They can rape my character when she loses 7 health and they've even done it when I have full health. Also, wolves team up to effectively keep me in a raping cycle. The alpha use this to rape me over 30 times before I was finally able to tame him. I'm fine with the alpha doing

t his as he is the boss of the cave but for the other wolves, it does feel a bit spammed.

Something I've noticed recently is random crashes.

I really like this mod, however, sometimes, being mounted by a city-dog (I've had it happen primarily with mutts by the way) causes a CTD.

Doesn't happen everytime, and I can't seem to explain it. All I do know is that I didn't install any new mods recently, and only updated your mod.

Another thing, I noticed is that knotting is auto full-heal. I personally think the effect would be better, if it would be restoring your health over time.

When cts occur, check your memory usage. See if it is 1.2 gig or higher. if it is, it is oblivion running out of memory to use, not this mod

For people using a x64 OS, I'd recommend getting the 4gb patch, doesn't work with the steam version(encrypted exe).  Will work with disc version though, and if you're a rum swiller it'll work with that version too.  Simple techy type stuff, it enables the LBA flag allowing the program to use more than 2gb(or 1.2gb) of non-reserved system memory. Always make a backup of the oblivion.exe(or any other exe you're patching with this though), as some programs have problems dealing with 4, 8, 16gb or more, of system memory.

I'm using OBSE, do I have to patch OBSE-loader.exe, Oblivion.exe, or both?

Edit: Sorry for the off-topic.

Anyone remember a mod in Fallout 3 called Bus World?  Is there something similar to it for Oblivion?  It seems like a mod like that could make adding small story elements to LB a lot easier.  LB World...  You open a cellar door and a randomly generated NPC is there with a mini LB quest.  Or for the thief character, a guard dog that a ham sandwich just won't appease.  Maybe a haunted cellar in an old burned out house for the Ghosty/Vampire types.  Open another for a blackmail the owner situation... "Mrs. Jones?  Is that a Rottie in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"... for the evil handlebar mustache twirling characters.

Edit: Ok, I know I can do better than that.... "Velma?  Is that a Red-Rocket in your socket or are you getting Scrappy Do creamy?"  Yeah, better.

I apologize as well for the off-topic question, but this is extremely relevant to my interests, as I use Oblivion "Better Cities" which crashes constantly and I've always attributed it to memory problems. I've tweaked my .ini by following an 8 page tutorial so I can get the most out of my system, but still it crashes.

Does this patch allow you to patch higher, say for someone who has 16GB of RAM?

From Shy a few minutes ago.

I was using ãåããã¾ã as a search phrase on shy and found some interesting screenshots from back in 2009. Some interesting files in general, but these screenies were LBish.
