Uriel Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 just what in to the Tiber Septim Hotel and there where about 10 Dogs and a Sheep. Ho And 1 Dead Body???? Tiber Septim Hotel is a place choosen by Oblivion devs for a "safe zone". Any actors whose cell has disappeared(couse you disabled a mod for example) will be placed in the hotel's lobby.

Tom21 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Ho I just put in "Bananasplit Better Cities" that must be what did it!
bowblack Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Just tried this out, kinda addictive one you made. Now I finally get some problem. The first wild wolf I tamed was a horny wolf from Wolf Cave. I saved in the dog shop and restarted game, lost it. As it should. But later, somehow the horny wolf shows up around the place where I lost him. even I haven't tame him again, he is in the shop walking around and not attacking anyone. Next I somehow get one shot and tamed the Alpha wolf. Funny thing....i left the computer and let him keep mounting my character, and now he moves very very slow. I think he is overweight from the massive cum of 50 times of mounting because of xloversJuice. I believe there is a similiar mod around here does the same...or has xloversJuice translated? xloversJuice is one of the addons I'm running with xlovers that will produce cum/pre items to the two parties that are having sex. If it is an NPC, you will have two "steal" option when talking to them, and you can take the two types of cum item from them without being say anything. P.S.: Apparently Cum has different qualities, and the better one has the better recovery effect if you drink it (heals about 500 HP), and they can be sold for above 1000 golds each. Free and strong potion of healing. Anyway. I belive because this mod I have, if I can't find a way to take off those extra items off our wolves, they will become useless for fighting or others. So far, I think I can try to kill it and loot, then use script to make it alive again.... No, screw that. I just swtich back to oblivion and Alpha Wolf is suddenly back to normal again. What?
bowblack Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Alright. Third time exiting the game and reload, Alpha wolf is still my companion. Not sure how'd you lost him now... Anyway. I thought it didn't have the problem anymore, but apparently it still does. It had some speed, may just because of bug or some sort, but now he is, again, overweight. Move really slow. Last time I check, he has above 60 cum items on him. And I can't even find the BaseID of it, and removeallitem just won't work...donno why. It seems like I can't find a way to make him back to normal.
Shinobi7 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I noticed a bug: When you buy 2 dogs, put them cage then activate cage and "use this dog" for both dogs then the first dog stops following you but hangs around. If you activate him he will mount you... is this intended? i didn't even do bitch training yet.
Chase Roxand Posted June 8, 2011 Author Posted June 8, 2011 Neither are bugs. I didn't add code to put the previous dog away, but he won't follow you. And having the dog mount you on activation is old code that I haven't removed yet. You've been able to do that since like... v0.2. It works with any of your dogs if they're out of their cages and not currently your companion. bowblack, I can't really help you without being there to debug it.
monoto7 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 its not a problem with this, i think its a problem with wolves as companions, i have the fenrir mod and he walks slowly i think its a disease he may of contracted(can npc's get diseases?)
Anonymous Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 can npc's get diseases? Only with mods such as Vector or Lovers HVirus
bowblack Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 sorry. I think it wasn't the item that was costing the problem. I checked every item that was related, and they have 0 weight. I'm still not sure what cost it to slow down though. I will try other dogs to see if it will happen again.

(Abomb, I mean, not checking the counter : )
Ragged Robin Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Strange, I had a similar problem with one of the dogs. It decided to mount my toon just as they were going through a door in Anville. After that the dog moved in what appeared to be a kind of bullet time - ie running but very very slowly. I wondered if the interuptus from passing from interior to exterior Anville might have mucked up the animation and couldn't restore itself, even after saving and reloading. At the time I used the reset in lovers and also checked Abomb in Wrye bash all to no avail. I just went back to a previous save. No re-ocurrence...so far.

cniht Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I know it was said there would be a good time distance before an update to this........ But where we at? :
Yuni Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Anyone else have a problem where the hellhound yips every four seconds? o.o; Ever since I adopted him (he followed me home mommy, can I keep him!?), he yelps every four seconds when not doing anything else. I think it's that he thinks the flame animation on him his hurting him, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone else, or is this normal for the hellhound for the above reason?

Yuni Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I know someone's already asked this most likely, but there are 54 pages and I'm new here. I already know the stone wolf hasn't been implemented yet, I found the hellhound, and I have all the 'normal' dogs including bloodhound. Are the arctic wolf and/or shadow/ghost wolves available yet? I love ice and snow, so the arctic wolf would make me smile.
Mashi Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I think Chase said something about the shadow wolves in the next release maybe.
Yorushingai Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I think Chase said something about the shadow wolves in the next release maybe. I've found Shadow Wolves in underwater / Vampire Caves. Spectral Wolves are in Ayleid Ruins with Spectral Warriors. Arctic Wolves I've found in the Jerall Mounds eastward of Bruma (Some are around Azura's Shrine, I think).

That may be what the next update is about(?), although I have no idea.
Ryllynyth Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Quick question: Would I break anything if I used the console to set my dog(s) to essential? I hate the thought of them dying permanently while protecting their bitch. :'(
Uriel Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I doubt you will break something this way. Must mention that after enough mountings they become essentials(eternal loyalty perk, or something like this).
