I had that happen too... i just used the console to get through though, you can still complete the quest, unless doing so bothers you.

Set the quest as active, so the marker shows and type "movetoqt" in the console. It will teleport you to the current quest target.

Incidentally, no one ever answered my question about the animations. Who made the doggystyle animation that [i']wasn't[/i] the one from Cursed Armor (y'know, the one that doesn't suck)? Can whoever did that please do some more alternative animations for this mod? I love it to death, but it could really use some more doggystyle animations! I understand doggystyle is only one position, so there isn't a ton you can do, but get creative! The PC could be laying on her back with her feet on the ground and raising her hips in the air to meet the canine thrusts, or she can be in a sort of tantric position with her whole body crumpled on top of herself, arms held to her sides, as the canine rests his weight on hers and thrusts into her ass! Or, there could be canine BJ anims!

 

So much could be done! Please give us more animation!

1. Bad one: LoversCreature standard animation for dogs and almost everything else

2. Good one: Cursed Armor animation for dogs

 

The good one has been done by the author of Cursed Armor or someone he hired or worked with.

Looking forward to your new release, Chase. And I wanted to say thanks for your effort. Honestly, most Lovers mods seem to just add sex to the game, without giving it too much thought. Your mod, however, does enhance the overall gameplay and makes you actually care for your companion since they are not set to essential from the very beginning.

The good one is from cursed armor, the bad one is from the original lovers crature mod. And have you ever asked yourself why there are tons of mods that include custom meshes like armors and clothing or mods that include heavy scripting yet there are only a handful of mods that include new animations?

 

Because it's a pain to do new animations for Oblivion. It's tiresome because you need to move every bone in the skeleton yourself, trying to make it actually look good takes even more time. And ofc if you make a mistake during the process (moved a bone that isn't meant to be moved for example) you most likely have to start over. So, if you want new animations, how about downloading Blender? Y'know, EVERYONE had to start from scratch. So "I don't know how to use Blender at all!" is no excuse. You can learn it. You WILL learn it if you put enough time into it.

LoversBitch v0.5 is up! Make sure to read the changelog, since a lot has changed. You might need to go back to Rena's shop before the topic for training with Maera appears.

I tried to add some humor to the new quest, but I doubt it will translate well into other languages.

 

To-do for v0.6:

- Pregnancy

- Feeding your canine assorted meat to heal him.

- Shadow Wolf quest. (Yay, vampires!)

Use 7-zip. It works with that. But I'll recompress it with a more compatible method. Making it smaller always causes issues...

Okay, I started trying the mod. had to do a clean save and start again, because the game kept crashing, when I entered Rena's Shop. No biggie though. The new animation and invitation system is great.

 

One problem though, my game keeps crashing when a dog mounts my character. It didn't happen at first, only when I started looking for dogs to complete the challenge for the quest. One notable thing, it doesn't happen always. I have a ~30% success chance.

 

I never had this problem before, so I am not quite sure how to fix this myself.

 

Thanks a lot for the greatd addition, Chase. The new system is so much better than just clicking the bone every time and I love the scattered dogs in all the cities.

 

Update: It seems to work with the owned dogs. I tested it with all the buyable ones. So far it often crashes when I invite:

- Rena's dogs

- random strays in different cities

Chase, I really haven't looked at this since the last few versions.  But if you're having a problem with the capture/strip/crash thing.  A possible solution might be to use a trap/capture/strip/storage method.  But that means more scripts, and the chance of more stuff breaking.

I had to fiddle around a lot to get all the different things working and showing up correctly. LoversBitch is so far down, because I had problems with crashing when it was higher up on the list.

 

EDIT: Just a little thing. Rena has never been in the shop for me, only if I tell her that I will help training her dogs. Could this have something to do with my load order?

 

EDIT2: No crashes since I left my companion in the kennel. I'll keep testing.

 

EDIT3: Finished the quest without a hitch and tested several dogs across the land. As long as I don't have a companion (no matter, if he is close ot somewhere else), there are no crashes. Great work on the new quest, Chase!

I turned on most of the plugins that you had on that I also had, but I couldn't get it to crash, with or without a companion. It's really no biggie. I usually take my companion out on adventures and there it won't be a problem. So I'll just wait for the next update and have fun with this one until then. I will try to fix the issue with Rena by changing the load order. Thank you for the help.

I'm currently having the crash problem at rena's shop as well. I went to do the training quest instead though. I got the all fours option, and things seemed to be working well while testing it with my collie until i got a prompt saying that he shoved me to the ground. Mounting and such ensued, though i was still stuck in the all fours position even after a few rounds.

Okay, fixed the breeding kennel issue. It'll be in v0.5a. I'm going to wait a bit longer to see if someone will offer to take the time to let me help them fix the companion-mounting-crashing issue rather than thinking that I'll magically fix it without being able to reproduce the bug on my own machine...

I hope you don't mind, Chase. Added the dog penis to the werewolf mesh, fully rigged and all that. Also I am working on a new animation for your mod, since there are only 2 atm (and one being kinda bad). Can't promise anything though, but I am determined to finish this animation since I really like your mod and want to support you.
