Thanks alchmo that did the trick and i completed the quest. Now I would like to know is when I get a dog from the kennel and the use the new bone A message says "dog not intrested" is it because it the first time I chose that dog or something else (this also prompts up when I click on the dog and chose mount me). Also a stupid question when upgrading from 4a to 4b do I have to clean save or can I continue as I am?

 

Update: Lust/knot is working now but when I went adventuring without my dog and ran into a timber wolf he knoted with me and after words he continued to attack. I thought what if a wild canine knots he would be your companion. (I got LoversRapeSGalgat is that conflicting with getting the timber wolf?) Also A big thanks to Chase for this mod it is People like you who turn a game I thought would sit on the self into something new.

Just continue. I added a tiny piece of code that should fix the knotting/lust problem if you had it.

 

Your dog won't mount you if his lust is at 0. You have to wait for it to go up (and if it goes up too high, he'll force you to the ground).

I've been struggling to get the quest to work, I finally did manage to after a long while of guesswork as to what was making it crash.

 

I removed all quest essential items. Crashed.

 

I did the thing that alchmo suggested, still crashed.

 

Then I removed all my clothing before approaching the gate and it started up without a hitch! I think it was that slave animation not playing nice with any form of addition clothing or jewelery on my character. Not 100% sure though.

 

So if there's anyone else that can't quite get it to start, try stripping down. Unless that's what I was supposed to do and didn't read it.

great work. did not have time to test new 0.4b, and maybe will wait for 0.5 (dont have much time now).

one thing i forget to write sooner. there are candles in one cage (first on right). it looks bit weird. with bit of humor i add, that poor thing, that will get locked there, get his tail burned.

I don't get it. I wear clothes and it works fine. What are you guys wearing that's so special?

 

As i said before: I am using the wolven anthros race.

You will see that this race has spacial feet added due to some scripting. maybe these feet are handled like clothing somehow (i am just guessing here).

 

those feet are propably the problem, since the feet item they add is internally defined as "feet armor" that can't be removed since it is a hidden item.

my guess is that the removeallitems command will try to remove those, then the wolven anthros scripts detects you dont have any feet tiems equipped and runs to equip these, now removeallitems kicks in again, that will continue to happen until you run out of memory for oblivion and ctd.

 

you could try one thing to see if my assumption is correct

load a save game before you got to the gate, open up the console and change your race "showracemenu", this will reset most of your stats so don't overwrite your savegame, make a new one now (to clear the buffer), check if the script for the feet got correctly removed by unequipping your feet armor and see if the wolven feet are still added, if not,try to approach the gate again to get captured.

 

if it now works then it is truly the problem with the feet item

Just tried it with Wolven Anthros. Worked perfectly, with and without shoes. Nude or clothed. Something else is breaking it for you guys.

 

Also, v0.5 is going to change how you interact with dogs/wolves quite a bit. They won't just mount you out of the blue.

well was just some guess out of the blue (don't know nuts about oblivion scripting anyway, im just a user, but i tend to dabble in almost anything from time to time, even looking at scripts and sometimes i can even read something into them :D )

 

maybe some other script is interfering with the combination of Wolven Anthros and LoversBitch, but give me a hellslot if i knew which one.

 

but i guess the steps above could still be used to see if the savegame would still work without the Wolven Anthros

The next version will be the 0.5? When do you foresee the version 5? Promising that version!

Have just finished the Hellhound quest, and wanted to offer my appreciation for the excellent job you've done.  There weren't a great deal of reasons offered for the enslavement, but somehow that made it more convincing and intimidating.  The new shackles were ace, and I liked that the Dremora returned you to your chains at least once before you could escape.

 

I know you're inundated with suggestions already, but here's a couple more.

 

Panting: A panting sound effect for the dogs while they mount would make the whole affair more lively.

 

Pregnancy: I'd love it if LB was integrated with Tamago for a future pregnancy questline.  It would be cool if this worked with the Hellhound questline in some way.  Maybe the Dremora would be interested in a pregnant PC, or be interested in impregnating the PC.

 

Keep it up!  You're already edging into WolfZQ level epicness.

I too would like to support Kissinger's suggestion of Pregnancy also to test some things I plan on doing a clean save and restart the mod to see if the problem of the hellhound load was clothing or the BONE which was stuck in my inventory. BTW the clothing I use are various downloads off Nexus but main one at the time of the first problem was Amazon armor.

Crying here,  :'( , still trying to reach the start of the quest of the Hellhound, think I read somewhere over here that I have to get to Kvatch quest...

Problem is, the Kvatch Gate... seriously I think the overhaul I got (WC:ND) made the damn main quest the final, end game highest lv questline...

 

On the sweet side, I was having errors with previous versions of loversbitch that went poof with 0.4b, namely the dogs mounting on me with 0 lust continuously and not wanting to follow, lust not decreasing, the save game thingie doesn't seem to happen anymore (haven't gotten this one since 04a though, so hooray).

He is also covered in flames when alive, but I don't think it's as intense as the hellhound is.  Or maybe it's the same and this one is darker.

Raijinryu If you have not found it go to the tent city on the winding road before heading up to the city the quest should Auto pop up.

Replaying the mod Got to the wolf cave and killed all the wolves between the enterence and Alpha Wolf reloaded several times when I got to him and finnaly got knoted but was not given a bone to control him is this right?

 

For the hellhound I had to strip to get it working. At the time I was wearing from Nexus site Blood elf armor and the weapon was from there as well (cant remember which mod it was).

Sorry to add to the list of problems... again, but i got through the cave with the new patch, got to the alpha wolf, and acquired him as a partner. I was going to put him in a cage back at the shop but when i got to the shop, there wasn't one that was designated for him. After going to the shop it also seemed like the bitch bone stopped working, this problem persisted even after swapping it out for different dogs, and reloading an earlier save, restarting the game seems to fix the bone though.

 

Oh also, my wolf disbands if i try to fast travel. And would it be possible to make them run a bit faster? :P

the "mount me" option don't seem to wok for me, when i select it nothing apen. I read in the forum that you need to let  the dog lust go higer but it seem to have freez at 2 or 3%, and never change.  If someone have the same issue ( or if i'm doing someting rong) please help me :D

if i remember correctly the mount me option was added mostly for wolfs and dogs you tame from the wilds, not those you buy in the shop.

 

Chase posted some line a few post above that you could enter on the console to see if this fixes it

 

Edit:

set xLoversBitchQuest.flushValues to 1

this was the command, but should be part of ver. 0.4b, did you reuse an old save after upgrading to 0.4b? might be that thi scould be the reason, try the console command.

if you used a new game, then Chase would surely like to get a few extra infos later on

Thanks. I didn't want it to be too easy for people to escape, so I figured either they could sneak out or be sent back at least once before getting a say in the matter. :P

 

Panting: Not sure how I'd activate it, since that's more of an effect LoversCreature would be programmed to do. But I'll take a shot at it.

The bone stays there since it's a quest items and you still technically have a companion' date=' he's just waiting for you back in Rena's shop.

 

Well if you add pregnancy then please make it optional.

 

Okay, so here's my plan for this...

At some point in a quest, you'll gain the ability to become pregnant. It will not require Tamago and will be a system that only runs within LoversBitch. I will, however, include an option to temporarily remove your womb if you are pregnant in LoversBitch and have Tamago enabled. This will be off by default, so you could be pregnant with both systems at once. Also, unlike Tamago, I would like to force the pregnant body on the player. So if anyone knows of some outfits already designed for the pregnant body, that's be incredibly helpful. I doubt that you guys want to run around nude while pregnant.

You can use this model for the LoversBitch Hellhound. Just grab the model here and it'll replace the LoversBitch one automatically.

Being knotted does not automatically make a canine your companion. It is random. Also' date=' I'm thinking that it isn't actually the clothing that does it, but rather some mod that monitors clothing. Could you post your load order so I can see what might be doing this?

You can't keep a canine that you didn't get from the shop. Also, if a wild companion isn't marked as "persistent", then it will be unloaded when you fast travel. When that happens, I can't keep track of it so you lose the companion.

I'll take a look at the Bitch Bone bug, though.

Not sure what to say besides what alchmo told you. You could enter "sqv xLoversBitchQuest" into the console and tell me the values for "breakpoint", "dogsLust", "waitingForFinish", and "playersDog" (press Page Up/Down to scroll through the variables). That might help be figure out what is wrong.

Only one that is weighted, as far as I know. Free-to-use permissions too but its terribly bland imo. Shouldnt be too much of an issue though if its only for one quest. I dont know how you intend to do the pregnancy quest but maybe you could make it so that any dog can make you pregnant(so as long as their active quest is currently the "pregnancy quest") and then have the new dog/pup get a random special trait or skill from a pre-determined list for each type of canine.
