BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 WAIT, WAIT, wait. I forgot. Happy wife, happy life. Sorry bout that!
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I've been without a woman in my life for waaaay to long! I forgot what a man needs to do for his sanity to be intact, for a while anyway.
Bluegunk Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) Tell that to the wife who emptied half a pan of Ramyeon noodles down the sink and then left it. Jeez. Anyhow, you don't want to know the domestic non-Skyrim details. Put it this way: it's a long way down my load order... Edited November 29, 2021 by Bluegunk
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I want to let you know of one new thing I'm trying out. I have SexLabDirtyTalk and the voices pack mods. It is reported on the mod page that the voices weren't working. I just set the dependencies on the Dirtytalk mod to require the voices mod. It wouldn't let me do it the other way around (voice to talk vs talk to voice), so I'm going to try what it gives me. Hope it works! Wish me luck.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Before it gets too late, do you have high heel sounds in your game?
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) I'm gonna stick around for an answer, this is important. Edited November 29, 2021 by BDNelson
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Ok then, I'm hopping back and forth. Hope to catch you before you go to bed.
Bluegunk Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) 26 minutes ago, BDNelson said: high heel sounds  I do get sounds - from the mods that provide them. I also use this mod for se: High Heels Dummy. This covers ported LE mods that required the original HDT High Heels mod. It's a dummy ESM. But that means ported mods work complete with sounds. The rest of the time I use Lazy Heels to set heights. All seems to work no problem.   Edited November 29, 2021 by Bluegunk
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Here is why I asked. I have that Heels dummy esm as well. I also have a mod with just high heel sound wave files in a folder that is supposed to drop n drag installed in the data\sound folder. Is it possible to make the esm use these sound files? You know, fuck with the esm, inside.
Bluegunk Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 So far as I know the Heels Dummy is just a blank ESM. You'd need a Quest set up to call the sounds, and some scripts.  You'd need a Heels Sounds mod that has a file structure you can drop the WAV files into. Have a look at this one: Heels Sound, which is a port of the LE mod.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Look at that. Someone already did it, thank you.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I have that drag n drop one and the dummy installed. I think I heard heel sounds the last time I was in game. But I wanted a back-up solution, done!
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I know it is late there so if you want we can say good night.
Bluegunk Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Thanks, yes I need to go to bed. I'm pretty tired today. I'll catch up tomorrow. Happy modding - hope all goes to plan!
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Well... I didn't even get into the mods that might have been causing the SexlabUtil msg. All it took was a reload of the save made after char. creation. And there it was.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) Why can't I just put it back in. This is way too much of a pain in the ass to fuck with. Nothing works, it's still there. From what I see in the message this .dll maybe should be installed when wda is installed as part of it's install, maybe, I think...(?). Does that make any sense? I don't know what to do now. BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) Well, I just opened wda and low and behold, there they are. The SexlabUtil.dll is in wda. For some unknown reason it is NOT installing these files, the very same files that are in the mod SexlabUtil. I REALLY think there is a serious problem here and I didn't make it! These files aren't in the data\skse\plugins folder where they should be. I would like you to open your copy and see if they are there, then look in your virtual folder for them to be installed. Let me know what you find. Edited November 29, 2021 by BDNelson added content
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 The SexlabUtil.dll is in 1.63 Beta8 too. Only that .dll though, nothing else, take a look.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) What other thing aren't being installed by wda? I wonder. I am pulling it and going back to BETA8. Edited November 29, 2021 by BDNelson added content
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 Still blurry, damn. I hope you can see 'em.
BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) Well, will you look at that, SexlabUtil.dll is in the data\skse\plugins folder after installing 1.63 BETA8. I'll be damned, it worked! You better look close at your install of BETA9, there is something wrong! And I just confirmed all of it! SLF is up and working, no msg's, 5X5, good to go. BDNelson Posted November 29, 2021 Author Posted November 29, 2021 I just ROYALLY FUCKED UP! I started the game WITHOUT having started Steam. IT INSTALLED AE! OMFG!
