Did a game start (main menu only) before I installed wda, just to make sure the game cranked up. It did, so I think I'm good to go.

Nope - I'm still sorting mods out. The game's good to go but I need to have the mods rolling out in the right order.

I also need to rebuild my in-game journal as it had useful stuff like the armours I have, followers, homes and various tips and tricks, hotkeys etc. Saves going out of the game to read it up.

I just ran into a block wall! When I go to install Faster HDT SMP it has, in it's options install menu selections for something called "AVX". Something about new CPU chip sets since 2011. (?). I know mine is newer than that, I don't know what to do here. I went with no on everything before but I don't know if that was the right choice.

AVX? If you know your processor model and series, you can look it up on Google to see if it is AVX enabled.

I had to use Sys Info to find the details of my processor, then looked it up. Mine is AVX512 so I can select that in the FOMOD.

I just tried to do that. There are all kinds of new stuff to be installed to even use it. Ummm... no.

I already know mine is a 2.7 dual CPU 16 core (each) i5. Is that the info you mean? OH, this keyboard is driving me NUTS!

Alright, I got it. I have CPUID installed. It says it is AVX. That's what I'm going with. I thought Faster was set wrong.

Found CUDA 7.5. Tried to download it. My computer says it is an unsafe download with malitious(?) software. This an NVidia program! Now what? Shit!

Leave it in a safe space for the time you want to try Virtual Skyrim.  It's of no use to Skyrim SE HDT-SMP which does not make use of CUDA.
