Have you heard from "theNiceGuy"? FYI, I'm seeing SAE mods on LL

No, not heard from him of late.

SAE? that's the new Anniversary Edition?  Yes there's a lot of activity right now on the new edition.  I'm making sure I don't download the update until I am ready (which might mean yet another new start!).

I have already accidentally downloaded AE versions of the USSEP (and wrecked my game) and PapyrusUtil (wiped all my saves).

I realise I have to pay attention to updating mods!!  With MO2 I get a flag if a mod has an update. Sometimes I blindly go and update without thinking about it and that's how I got into trouble with AE mods. I'm very careful now.

No problem with occupying my time - it's good to have someone to share this stuff with because you're pointing me at mods I didn't know about.

Hmmm... I'll let you know if he msgs me. Yeah, Aniv. Ed., I don't want to change it up. I haven't got this one to work yet, I'm so close! I'm glad we both are learning from this, I thought it was more one sided than that. Me learning, you teaching.

Alrighty Then! (Jim Carey). I have just finished pulling everything down to and including SexLabFramework 1.63 Beta9. Time to start the tedious process of read, install, repeat in an effort to find that mod that needs SexlabUtil and pull it from the order. What a pain!

While that's brewing, Triggers, I haven't seen in any of my mods that it is required. This an optional mod then, right? Do I actually need it to do something that isn't happening without it? Did I say that right? I HOPE you know what I mean!

Yes, Triggers is an optional mod. It's a tool you can use to create Sexlab events in your game. I have three or so events.

Here's one LL mod that uses it:  https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/12338-sl-triggers-cum-effects/ .

And I've been trying to write a JSON file that fires a sleep effect so the player/NPCs sleep after having sex. I'm having some vague success with it.

It is possible other modders might create stuff for Triggers. When you think about it, Triggers has a lot of potential but I don't think modders are noticing it.

I converted Triggers to ESPFE, so it doesn't even take up a full ESP slot. In my book, that's cool. And it works fine as an ESPFE!

There is a mod for sleeping after sex

Really? I've never been able to find one! The only thing in that direction is sex on waking up (SLEN). But if you know of a sleeping after sex mod then I'd be utterly in your debt.

As for Sexlab, avoid the AE at all costs (as I'm sure you will). But if it is an update to the current SE one, then update because it means the author fixed something.

Kissing idea? Can't recall that - but I have a brain like a sieve.

difficult time with my keyboard today

Ditto. My spacebar is part-broken since I took it off to dry the keyboard out (beer mishap).

Your script project? I threw out the idea of kissing as a exit\scene transition.

Oh yes of course! Thanks I remember. Yes that was a great idea. I'll put a note on the mod info so I don't forget. Thanks for reminding me. I might be able to do that using Triggers, too. Without a script... (goes off thinking about it)

Ok, I'm glad I was able to help there. I just installed "wda" aka SLF1.63B9. Didn't you tell me that NO mod should be installed overwriting the PapUtil mod (placed "after"). That is what Vortex wants to do now.

?, what now?

Correct. Papyrus Util should always overwrite the other mods. It is updated frequently and has the latest PapUtil script. (But mind you don't get the AE version which is what I did..!!)

SLF1.63B9 has 14 conflicts. 1 with the campfire mod and it is a PapUtil conflict. 13 with the PapUtil mod. I should set both of those to "before" the PapUtil mod, yes?

Wait! I better check the PapUtil mod for an update, SE only, I got that. I'll be back.

3.9.0. Is that the one you have too

Ahem. Nope. I have updated it and have it now. Thanks!  ?
