What male body type does sexout use ??

I have noticed after installing it it override my texture for body extender, and it did not look right, does this not use or is compatible with body extender ??

I am not sure of "body extender" but sexout uses Breezes Male Bodies and T6 female bodies.

 

For Breezes body I would advise you to go to nexus and get the "patch" it can make the male body look better when clothed.

from lovers. apparently there is a skeleton change. That can seriously mess things up. Unless one of the experts on this site state otherwise. I would advise to choose one mod or the other. Don't run both.

Breezes is the default.

 

However you can make things work with Roberts male body for FNV.  In my opinion Roberts blows breezes out of the water.  There is a fix for using robert's male body floating around somewhere in the Sexout section.

 

Custom skeletons and animations that require it are generally not going to be compatible with Sexout.

Thanks that explains it, body extender uses Roberts i think.

 

You can pull the breezes stuff (meshes & textures) out of the sexout bsa file if you like.  The meshes and textures are located in: Sexout - Nudes.bsa.

Remember to archive invalidate.

The Sexout bodies are in a bsa so anything you put in the actual meshes folder will replace it. My skeleton works just fine with any version of the Roberts body since it was built to support the Body Extender body which is a superset of Roberts (main reason I chose it as a superset of Robert, to get the sex organ/breast support of BE but also add Roberts support). There are 5 male related files in the BSA so to override them, place your files in the data directory as follows:

 

meshes

data/meshes/characters/_male/upperbody.nif                             the standard body use by all males in game

data/meshes/characters/_male/upperbodymale-erect.nif            the body sexout swaps to during sex if that MCM option is chosen (using the "erect" nif)

 

textures

data/textures/characters/male/upperbody.dds                             the texture used by the above two bodies

data/textures/characters/male/upperbody_n.dds                         the normal map for the above texture

data/textures/characters/male/upperbody_sk.dds                       heh, tbh everyone isn't sure on _sk, but it's probably a subdermal map to provide skin realism... for the above texture

 

So... just replace those 5 files with the male body of your choice and my skeleton shoould support it and Sexout will use it just fine.

What astymma said.

 

The ESP for roberts is, iirc, just some offset fixes. Which means, probably, it won't work with newer versions of sexout anyway since fixing the offsets requires overriding sexout scripts, though maybe somebody did it via some clever NX manipulation. I know we talked about support for that for astymma's positioning mod, just not sure if it ever happened or not.

Well, I documented how to use my NX changes to the positioning script multiple times and it exposes a huge variety of functionality to modders... and it mainly got ignored.

 

I'll probably need to release a simple positioning mod so people have a solid example of how it can be used.

Using Robers with Sexout has minimal impact other than the odd anim or two being slightly misaligned but nothing game-breaking. I prefer the robert body anyway, because IMO it looks better than Breezes.

 

Also, Astymma, you missed a spot there. Sexout also uses a character/armour/sexoutbudysuit filepath which also need to be overriden. Gimme a sec while I find the exact path location.

Oh, oops, good catch.

 

Here we go. I'm intentionally linking to this topic because it explains perfectly how to use Roberts and I'm making a mental note here of archiving both these topics.

 

The filepath is meshes\Armor\SexoutBodysuits\OutfitMErect.nif in sexoutng data (not in the bsa). - if you don't override that, you'll get a messed up texture whenever Sexout swaps to its naked body.

You know, it looks like I can include roberts in hte download, permission wise. The FS ROBERTS for New Vegas permissions say to follow whatever the permissions for Roberts (from FO3) say.

 

The Roberts Male Body for Fallout 3 page says:

Do whatever you want with the body and/or textures without asking permission. This applies to contents of this file ONLY, not any future works.

I would not be opposed to switching the default to roberts. I agree, it's a better looking body.

I would support that. Just be aware that Robert's erect penis is significantly longer than Breezes and sometimes clips through the back of head/female's back during 2-3 animations. There is also a naked Ghoul body for Roberts floating around on Nexus too, which I think is necessary, either that or I'm missing the appropriate ghoul penis prop because I got a yellow latex rubber colour thing going on with mine when I tested a scene with ghoul sex earlier.

Is the penis still longer after I shrunk it down for you?  I "could" make the tackle smaller yet if that helps.  I changed out the one in the previous archive and inserted the smaller version from the one I pm'd you.  The monster cock version is no longer in that archive (the one in the thread you link to) so hopefully that gives folks what they need.

 

You should "not" need a ghoul body but rather the roberts version of the ghoul textures.  That is the only difference.  If you can't fine the ghoul textures just holler and I'll dig them up.

The problem that comes from that is that users would need a roberts armor replacer or they look weird, unless roberts uses the same texture "structures" as the vanilla armors. Same problem for Breeze btw and imo that should be mentioned in the installation instructions.

Roberts is fairly close and there are a good amount of armors\clothes for the roberts body out there.  Also anything that uses breezes' male body can be converted to roberts really quickly via nifskope if is just the arms\neck showing.  Takes all of about 5 seconds.

That should be a fairly easy animation fix if you write down the numbers.

I think the appropriate option is to have it be optional but make it simple and painless to change.

We should NOT just suddenly swap to a different body, regardless of our own preferences.

I'm inclined to agree. I have my own qualms about Sexout using Type6 as default, and though I don't like Breeze's, I don't think we should make Roberts the default either. If it can work with either, and it can, the user should bring their own - we provide the party, but you bring the alcohol.

Sexout uses T6M as a default as it's the only type3-texture compatible body I found that was free to redistribute. It wasn't put in because it's my personal favorite or anything, it's just the only one I could put in -- period. Was that or the constant requests for "LOL WHY HAZ SEX IN UNDERWEAR LOLZ".

I don't know what all that hippy talk coming out of your noisehole means, but I know one thing. I need to find some breezes textures or something at least to slap in here. I had no idea nakeddudes were looking all fucked up by default. Why didn't I notice that before. Might be fine to include al the breezes junk as well. The main project on nexus says basically "do whatever you want as long as you give credit" in the permissions popup.

 

Makes no distinction between the main file, armor fixes, etc.

 

So my thought is this: Make (for now) three BSAs in the next release. One for the existing T6M female, one for breezes male, one for roberts male. FOMOD can ask you which ones, if any, you want to install. This would get all that stuff into a BSA first off (I also forgot there were some nude meshes not in the BSA), and make it easier to add new male and/or female bodies in their own BSAs as they become available.

 

It seems plenty of people are moving on to skyrim and *gracefully* abandoning their FNV mods. I may have to rethink my opinion of nexusmodders in general. ;)
