Nice! Always wanted to use the NR outfits and have them use Railroad weaves (mostly for the rad resistance, that crap is annoying).

I got it to work, but it's real finicky. So just an 'advanced mod user warning' about that one. As you really have to know what your doing first.

JB was the one who mentioned the save bloat caused by AWCR earlier in week so I found the alternatives and ditched that mod forever.

High Heels have been a problem for sex scenes for as long as i can remember. Use HO3 from nexus mods. For HO3 there are

also certain heel mods with compatibility for HO3. Find the heels you like and see if there is a compatibility mod or patch. This is not a JB issue, this is an AAF high heels issue dating back years.

I previously ran with ECO, LEO, and NEO -- powerful game changers for outfits but severe overkill when solely immersing in NukaRide.

I used a bunch of mods like that and still do on other profiles, trying to get down to the smallest mod list I can.

That's part of the 'trouble', yeah. But there are ways to keep the bloat to a minimum, and clean it up.

Again, 'advanced mod users' can do this easy with tools like Fallrim .

Umm, quick question JB.:

Will Patti and Dallas ever have a 'larger part' in the Nora storyline? I mean, all they really do is sit there in the Overboss's base, and have no lines most of the time.

I ask because they are a big part of Norita's story, and after playing that, and getting to like them; They seem to have almost no role* in Nora's story. Kinda makes me miss them.

You can give more resistance against damage to all accessories, from chokers to purses. And of course the outfits. If you have ECO you can add legendary perks to them.


Hey firstly I want to say your mod is amazing I’ve played through both paths and currently doing another playthrough. Can’t wait for more quests to be added! 
 

I just updated to the latest 6.9.0j version and tried to use the workbench, however NR items are still not showing up for me. I updated mid playthrough and use ECO. 
 

Do I need to start a new game for these changes to take effect?

did that work for you?  I am not far enough into the story yet to test it (used the AWCR version in the past and it worked fine)

if it does maybe JB could add it to the recommended files (both files would be needed to unlock the RR part) so people could add the tags to pretty much any outfit.

To be Honest, now that I removed AWCKR and looking at the fact that 75% of my mods did not use it anyways (and the ones that did have versions that do not use it!), wondering if there is any point in using a mod written over 10 years ago.   I mainly use VTAW (like a ton of them 1-9++++) for my player outfits along with a few others - all modular and follow standard slot usage (and if any are not can go into them with F4Edit and adjust them manually) and a skimpy replacer for all the NPC's.   I do not loot gear for the most part, just ammo.

If your using AMD then try turning off the Bink videos in MCM.  Nuka Ride > Help > Disable Bink Videos.

Just hit T twice when the video starts to skip (same as skipping the intro when starting a new game) I am curious why this happens with amd cards though it doesn't really make any sense.

A wild guess, but I "think" is has to do with the encoding of the clip. The vanilla ones play fine or that issue would have popped up at FO4's launch.

There are things that Nvidia handles just fine but will bugger up AMD. I forget the game, but the studio made all the water in the game world render all the time, which AMD cards at the time couldn't handle.

JB said he's gonna add in something to the next update to help with modifying the outfits and having the NR ones show, so you may wanna wait until it comes out to add any armor editing mods to your game, but if you're wanting to do it right now, to be honest this is working perfectly for me so far, though with some trade-offs

 

For full context of my first playthrough with it, I added it mid-game to Norita, and to a playthrough that had Devious Devices enabled (just to see how compatible it was in here) which requires AWCR.  So I am using both AWCR and this ballistic weave set.  My experience may be different because of that, but so far, I do like it and am thinking of starting a new game today with the set but no AWCR or DD.  I will edit the post for you tonight or tomorrow with those results but so far:

 

What I'm noticing with it is it removes some of the options but adds others in, and for me that's fine because what I'm losing is not something I mind.  For example, while you can change the color and such of many of the outfits you could before (such as the maid outfit color) others such as the Charli outfit are not showing the option to change the texture but do have the option to add weave and add the NR tags.

 

Here is an example, where I used cheat terminal to add the varsity uniform to my inventory just to test it out.  I'm still at the training portion of the mod, so the option only shows as "fit for a bitch" instead of both bitch and pornstar options, but from everything I've seen, where you have the option for the bitch keyword, once you audition and shoot your first film, the other option will open up to you.  

 

Here is just with AWCR and no ballistic weave mod, where you can change the texture/color of the uniform but nothing else:

So it definitely adds some options, for now at least, until JB adds in some new outfit modification options for us 🥰 

 

I think it's gonna be up to personal preference, and I'll see how it looks without AWCR and DD enabled, and if there is any difference post those as well for you

I remember when Patti and Dallas were just 2 naked bald slaves whose lore was that they were getting punished by OB for stealing or something (? Sorry don't remember this part exactly....but I think I'm right). This was before the Norita route was even a thing.

They've come a long way since then and after seeing them in Norita's route I do hope they get bigger roles in Nora's route too...dunno how practical that's going to be. But I'm just going to let JB cook!

 

Similarly, I'm wondering if Nora would be rewritten to recognize Isabella or her mom. I guess she would be neighbors with Isabella and her dad...dunno if she would know the mom. Maybe in Nora's cupcake dreams she fucks Isabellas dad. It might also be fun if she was friends with one of the moms...maybe Michelle's mom worked at Nora's lawyer firm or something. It would be interesting to see the moms perspective and how they try to come to terms with what they are doing and what their kids would have to do. Maybe they aren't able to cope and Nora feels guilty and has to run interference for the OB. Maybe she introduces them to the cupcakes to help them accept... That could get dark.

 

But I guess... enough fan fiction for the day, lol! I can't wait for when he goes back to working on the Nora route.

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I mean, the part with "Hank" (If YKYK) has already been rewritten to a lesser 'hardcore' degree. So it really makes me wonder if that's why v10 is taking so long.

But I don't normally see, or call myself a 'fan' of anything. But I can appreciate a good piece of writing, or a good mod, or whatever; And this is one of the best story mods out there in my opinion. If only BGS could make something half as good (without the AO content of course) for Fallout5, maybe I would have a little bit of hope for them to redeem themselves. I mean after the failure of Starfield, FO76, Redfall, and trying to disregard the existence of FO:NV; They really need a redemption arc. Plus it'd be a hell of a lot better than the 'raider/super mutant spam', and the 'Chase the MacGuffin' story line.

this mod requires AWCKR and will work with your original mods, should add almost identical features but allow you to use the mods that have the AWCKR requirement.   btw JB is only going to add the keywords to allow changes to the outfits in this mod - you will still need these mods (weaves) to adjust outfits from vanilla or other mods.

Version "K" is online. 👍🏼

 

  • Very small update. Safe to update.
  • Outfits and accessories can now be upgraded in any armor workbench. If you have ECO you can also add legendary perks.
  • Nora also receives the gift at the door of her apartment, but on her route it is Kells who delivers it to her after the trip to Far Harbor. Kells can send you one letter or another, depending on whether he accused you of racism during "Fly me to the Moon". But the gift remains the same.
  • And it continues to grow with new assets... 🚬

New CTD discovered in Norita route during The Magnet in Your Heart, still running 6.9.0j...

CTD happens immediately after the sunbathing scene. Isabella asks Norita to follow her, and CTD. While in the sunbathing scene (stage 650), if I try to force to the stage of following Isabella (SetStage _NR_Sanctuary 660;), also CTD.

Skipping ahead to 670 works to get past the CTD, but in stage 680 Dixie doesn't appear at the marker. I think she's supposed to be here. I only did this once before, and I don't remember it fully.
