Did you run NAFicator to convert the AAF XML folder?

It refers to time dilation, specifically. Like when the player uses VATS or consumes Psycho, time passes slowly and that breaks the voice.

 

That's why I recommend the mod on my page; it was suggested by @osculim

It's almost the same set as Keyshawn, except instead of an electric collar he wears dog tags.

Fascinating...because this worked.  Using the setstage removes everything properly, without having to do anything else to it (this is also definitely before I would have touched the outfits). 

 

Usually I only get it to do this on its own if I've done the outfit change thing prior (and then it does remove everything, leaving the dog tags but removing shirt and armor during that quest)

A few weeks ago i had an issue with Keyshawn's height and animation alignment (in the greenhouse with Norita).  Now I am in the apartment doing my exercises with Keyshawn during Home Chores.  During the animations, he is getting rescaled to 1.0 and the alignment is off.  Is this a new issue?  I do have the Savage Cabbage scaling mod install but it does not make a difference if it is activated or not.  What I did notice is that if it is not activated, Keyshawn does not rescale back to 1.22 after the animation.

JB this is the mod that gives a slider function to the Voice changer mod for the Young woman sound you were discribing in you discriptiion for your mod. Just thought it would be a good idea so that way people dont' have to work to hard to get the young female voice.


I'm using this, the "manual" version:

The "slider" one causes issues with lip sync, which just straight up fucking dies when skipping lines or interrupting the dialogues in any way. :v At least in my case.
The "manual" version doesn't modify the frequency of other samples like modded breathing, jump grunts, AAF voices etc., but for me it's for the better. I couldn't stand the sync issues anymore and the alternative seems to be fixing everything.

Make sure NR is at the very bottom of the load list with only NR's patches below it. That's the cause of a lot of problems. If you sort your list with Loot; Loot put's it very high in the load list. So avoid that.

 

I didn't notice that happening, when I ran into problems with Loot. Then I fixed it by dropping all the NR stuff to the very bottom of the list.

ummm JP  would you be okay with making a mod for loading screens to have your nuka ride art in it for example that one art where you are in a car holding a casset with your legs crossed next to overboss driving, its very retro like, it would make the game soo much fancier

I'm curious but I started this mod from a save before exiting vault 111, would that meet the following requirement for the NRWP and would I have weird occurrences as described in the Nuka-Ride World Patch page?

 

Reason for asking is I'm considering adding it in mid-game.

On the 'Nora path' Chip Noris (the electrician for the NR radio) seems to need a touch-up on his voiced lines. He still has that robonitronic voice, and even mispronounced the word 'Cafe' as 'Kay-F'. 

 

Just a heads up, as he might have been forgotten about when the other voices where redone.

It's best to run a completely new game for Norita ("NR Alternate Start"). I made a save in pre-war Sanctuary with Start Me Up Redux active and the Duke was dead. It seems that the quest didn't start properly.

For Nora (hardcore route as a vanilla vault dweller ) it doesn't really matter where you've saved, since you can grab the note from Duke's remains and go straight to Drumlin. You can also use Start Me Up to define your character fully and begin anywhere on the map as Nora, as in - she doesn't need to be a vault dweller in your headcanon. But NR is written as if she is, so you need to ignore some lines for roleplay. :^

You want me to do it? I don't know much about video editing. Adding effects and the like. My random menus don't even have a fadeout or anything fancy. I just cut the video and hope for a decent loop. 

 

For a while now I've been thinking about hiring someone on Fiverr to do it for me. But now the priority is to continue working on my quests. And squash any bugs reported here.

I haven't tried it yet during the quest you mentioned, the one to visit him. There might be something strange there, I'll check it out tonight. At least the function works.

 

Edit:

I've tested it and it works fine. I don't know what could be wrong, but at least from here everything is fine. However, I have noticed that the Overboss doesn't have lip movements in some of his dialogue, so I'm making a note to correct it.

Look in your AAF folder.

 

There's an XML file whose content is set to "rescale = true."

 

Mine is set to false and has priority 6, but another one with a higher priority could be rescaling Keyshawn.

The culprit was Savage Cabbage Animations Rescaling.  Even though I disabled it, the script was embedded in my save and was still firing.  Once I cleared that out, everything was fine.  Also a new version 2.0 (AAF_SCRS_Cr_NoDPG-V2) was uploaded about a month ago.  So far so good, no problems with Keyshawn.  Thanks JB

Having an issue on the Norita route:

 

Getting "bugged" (lack of better word) just before the fight between Overboss and Rayder and Clint. I get handcuffed, and to the point where I am hanging in the air, and (what's his name) pops in to confront Clint... and here is the problem.


He DOES NOTHING! Just stands there and doesn't say or do anything. Clint instantly reacts and starts shooting him, and he just keeps standing there letting Clint shoot him till he falls down. Clint goes back to position, (guy who appeared) stands up, Clint reacts and starts shooting until he falls, then repositions..... and repeat.

 

Meanwhile, I am unable to do anything because my hands are cuffed behind my back and I can't access Pip-Boy to remove cuffs, arm weapons, activate manager options... NOTHING. All I can do is sit in the chair and watch an endless loop continue.

 

Any ideas, or tips, or even a console command to let me get involved again.  SOMETHING! Because at this point, this portion of the Norita route is unable to continue for me.

I'm actually doing Norita's route on one profile (about 1 day of play in) and Nora's on another (which I'm going to meet mason or am leaving from meeting him). I was just asking in regards to the Nuka-Ride World patch as I was thinking about applying mid-game.
