That's not true. The scene works with NAF Bridge (the latest version).
But the scene with Nisha as a drug courier (as Nora) doesn't start. I suspect because the second actor is missing - slave. Because removing the drugs works in DC. And as Norita, the scene with Nisha also works. It's always the same animation - so it basically works.
The only animation that doesn't start for me (I also get a message saying it's aborted) is the lap dance (e.g. Norita training with KeyShawn).
Basically, everything works with NAF and NAF Bridge. And as I said, you can set a lot in the MCM of NAF Bridge. For example, the scene length (default is 30 seconds), furniture usage, etc.

If anything that makes it work got stored in the save file, then you probably were be on the right track, 'cause I've tested those audition scenes on an ongoing Nora save. During which, I've updated the Bridge to .904 and then .906 to check if the reclamation chair wasn't missing a player model anymore. I can test a "clean" save during the weekend to make sure, without skipping quests. Now it bugs me a little.


Personally I look at NAF quite fondly, since I don't wanna enter Discord servers to download specific mods, and the more easily available AAF version is a thing of the past. So far, I can't complain too much if Panda keeps adapting the alternative with his solutions. At this point, NR is the only mod utilizing all these addon features which gave me any problems with NAF Bridge. On the other hand, the project is such a behemoth that it's expected - especially when it's not designed with a different framework in mind at all. Yet, everything keeps getting better and better from all sides.

Yeah that's not how AAF works, that's my point.  Can you go in an set an override for the SCENE, yes, but that's not the way it is supposed to work.  Mod authors in many cases have carefully curated durations in the animation XMLs and NAF Bridge just outright ignores it.

 

Anyways, I'm glad that your happily carrying water for Team NAF, but it's not perfect and doesn't have feature parity with AAF.  That's a fact, and when you set out a goal to be a drop-in replacement you should have feature parity or that should be the goal -- and perhaps the duration issue will be fixed in the future but I know some items will not be (because the author has already stated so) and that's a deal breaker.  But you do you, I'm just calling out what I see, and with that I'm done talking about it.

"Everything works with NAF" to an extent that allows you to enjoy the best parts of Nuka Ride. If you set it up right and spend some time on reaching a "good enough" state. Bear in mind that some crucial problems were reduced just recently. As usual - experiences may vary.

I don't think that has anything to do with it, my guess is the difference is perhaps an engine fix that one of us has in difference.  Basically furn.IsFurnitureInUse() is returning false for you but true for me in these scenes.  The conditional logic did change from 0.904 to 0.906, and I have a pretty good idea why it would have worked in 0.904 if IsFurnitureInUse was true.  But it's way too much effort for me to modify the script to add more logging and recompile the script, to recompile a Papyrus script can be a pain in the ass (you have to pull in every single dependency in the chain if it is referenced in any Papyrus script [including the dependencies] so before you know it you have to install 50 mods to compile one stupid script), and I don't care enough about it.

 

I would have to read up on what IsFurnitureInUse is supposed to do, but from the sounds of it my game is correct because well he is sitting on the furniture so it is in use.  I could of course be wrong about that, just a guess.

Basically, you should regenerate the XMLs after an update (e.g. from .904 to .906).

To do this, set the variable bNaficatorEnable to 1 in the Naficator.ini and start the game once and wait for the message from NAF.

After that, the value can be set back to 0. Then every animation with furnishings should work. If errors do occur, a log will be created.

It's been done already, that is not the issue.

Why do you call me crazy, besides not being very nice it does not answer my question, the last I remember you had stated something to the effect of after the OB showed up his pal by having the best gal by his side your were going to wrap up the end. I may have gotten that wrong but I seem to remember that for some reason.

I have not been on this thread for a while and just wondered how far things had progressed on Nora after your side track with Noritta.

If I am still unwanted here I will go.

All I'll say is trust me, play it. It's fucking fantastic! (pun totally intended lol). Best adult mod I've ever played by far.

People, why are you trying to come up with an electric scooter if this "bike" works great without any unnecessary additions. The author is focused on the storyline of two Heroines, it's a difficult creative process to reconcile and balance both storylines, and you're trying to drive him, the author, into technical hell. If you are interested in technically improving (breaking) his creation, do it yourself. if you do everything, just release a patch with your work.

Sometimes the plot of the Burrow ends with the Boss's gift of a personal territory. I would recommend you to play as Norita.

Hi so I'm on this quest to collect Patti's toy in the fun house but when I click on it it just plays some piano music. I can't pick it up or interact with it in any other way. What am I supposed to do with it?

Nevermind. Sophie had gotten lost is all. It worked when I reloaded

I don't recall putting on piano music.

 

 

That part is usually problematic for those who play with AMD graphics cards, in their case there is freezing. What happens is that I have put a video (maybe that's where the “piano music” comes from), but this video for some reason has problems with AMD graphics cards.  For them, I included a cheat in the Help section in the MCM. Check it out.

 

The cheat will skip the video, so you must load a save before taking the toy.

Perfect does not require any improvements))) I'm an author myself, but only of short stories and AD&D games, which makes it easy for me to understand you.) You probably don't remember, but we once talked about the technical and story component of the Mod. You complained that you don't know all the technical details. You're focused on the plot. I am sure that you wrote about this not only to me... (There are a lot of such "smart guys") Thank you for your patience.

Ok so I've encountered what I think is my first (real) issue doing Norita's path. After making Kellogg & his guest dinner, then Keyshawn his lemonade & standing on the spot with her arms behind her back, my character gets frozen in place. Kellogg then says to clear the table but I can't move. I can look around but not move at all. Not even the pip boy works. I'm literally just stuck. I tried reloading but the same thing happened again. Has anyone else reported this & what can I do about it? Thanks

Had to reload 4 times but it eventually fixed itself. I think the angle at which the spot was approached must've mattered or something but at least I managed to get through it without having to resort to console commands for the first time.

Try just pressing the pull out weapon button. It helped me.

The mod always kicks off a dialog camera.

For NAF Bridge users, the furniture & overlay issue that I mentioned ealrier with NAF Bridge 0.906 should be fixed.  Panda re-uploaded 0.906 today with the two script fixes.
