AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

I really want to apply the "overboss Pet" keyword to another collar, because I dislike the bimbo-walk animation. But none of the other collars from NR show up at the armorworkbench. I have armorsmith extended installed, but how to I apply a keyword? 

Only the default Shockcollar and the Collars from Commonwealth Slavery are modable in the workbench for me, but neither can be added with the keyword.

I was wondering if there's any plans to integrate CS and NR a bit more? I haven't played the latest version yet (Sorry, still in the early stages of a CS playthrough) but the last time I had finished CS and got to NR, my character was given skimpy clothes and she was protesting about the skimpiness and no one taking her seriously in those clothes which kinda struck me as odd since I'd been walking around semi to fully naked all the time as a slave.  It would be awesome if some new dialogue related to CS could be added but if not it's fine, I will roleplay in my head ?

I have wanted to do that as well, I never figured it out. Don't Quote me on this but if I remember right, something was broke and it cannot be done.

Indeed, adding keywords to armors dynamically is not possible at least as I want to implement it (put it to any collar for the Overboss perk). 

 

But I plan to add a holotape the first time Music schedules a party with his father. With that holotape you will be able to disable the bimbo animation. I think that's the best solution because I don't want to put it in the MCM and ruin the surprise for first time players. 

 

As for rewriting Nuka Ride to accommodate CS, it's possible, but it requires a lot of effort because it's about revising everything and adapting it to a mod that not everyone has played/is going to play. 

 

I wrote the beginning of Nuka Ride from the point of view of a girl who goes into porn because she has no choice, a girl who finds the changes very shocking. But over time I learned a lot of things about roleplay and today I think I would have branched out that: Either you can act demure or you can simply act more openly.

 

But then I'm back to the old dilemma: Either I spend time on that, or I spend time on creating new content.

Thanks for the response. This would indeed be a great solution, because the collar itselt looks nice. Alternativly, if you or anyone else with the knowledge to do so, could just tell me a way to disable to animations myself? Like console commands or a way to just kind of .. stop this animation? 

Because I don't want to bind your time with details like that. I am totally impressed by the amount of creative combat-less gameplay, dialogues and the humor sprinkled inbetween. I love both of your story mods and would personally prefer new content above everything else :D

I really enjoyed playing Nuka Ride and wouldn't change a thing.

I'm leaning towards the "spend time on creating new content".

would be no problem to just type it everytime. Much simpler then programming the whole holotape solution. Searching through this forum for a solution showed, that not many people have a problem with the animations anyway.


I just tested it and it doesn't work sadly. "changeAnimArchetype: FAILED. AnimArchetypePlayer is not a valid Anim Archetype, or actor is already that type." it says

Also, the animation file could be replaced, I mean replace with a walking animation, name it the same as bimbo animation.

You have to find the bimbo animation, then find the vanilla walking animation. Rename the vanilla walk file to bimbo walk and replace the file. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact names of the animations or their locations.

I just got back. I really appreciate your trouble to look this up just because I dislike the animation. I will try to fix it this way. I just need to find the other side, being the Bimbo animations. Might be some trail and error but thats how modding is. If J.B. or anyone else can point me to the Bimbo animations to replace that would be very much apreciated. If not, I will just try until I find a way. But thank you. I'm used to ansers like "google it lol" from other places.
For a place of this nature its surprising that its usually the most helpful and wholesome place to ask questions.

Oh, the command does not work!

 

Replace the files in this directory.

Use BAE to extract them all and replace them with your preferred animation, or replace them with the player's default. The names are the same.

@JB.Thanks for the direction. I replaced the Bimbo animations with vanilla animations and created an installer package.

So here is the final product. If you want, you can put it as an official addition to your mod so that other users can find it more easily.

 

Installation instructions:

Use your favorite mod manager to install. I use Vortex and everything works as it should.

The zip file contains loose files, there is no plugin to activate.

NR already has this mechanic: your character is harassed if he is dressed sexually.
Just don't use NR sexy outfits, use Music or Nisha outfits, and your character will remain incognito.
