it's like some of those odd animations with user-controlled input that were in fashion at the early times of AAF (I believe some animation packs still have this style). But the UI on the bottom left is unusable, pressing any of the suggested keys does nothing. Posting here so that maybe someone has an idea of why it works like that while I try things on my own. Oddly enough, this UI is not present when the scene is fired through the script (i.e. if I play the mod)

 

if the script use the setting "isNPCControlled = true" the UI does not appear

They were added to NR a while back, but sounds like the problem is that something has changed more recently to invalidate them so they're not actually getting used.

if you edit anything in the cell then you have to generate them again (pain in the ass)

You are the first to encounter this problem. Before you came along, no one knew it existed.
It's just that no one could have guessed that someone would use a 2.5 year old AAF([Beta 133] - 2020-5-15).

 

Also, the AAF doesn't have to be the newest version. It just doesn't have to be рaleozoic.

Presumably meant paleozoic (from 544 million to about 230 million years ago).

@JB. just a heads up, I also got the bug with Mason not talking to the PC, I thought it was something I did during Dialogue, I reloaded and it did the same thing.

I am posting this issue/reply here because in the process of installing Nuka Ride... "slot 40", or the pants clothing slot, is not showing when i equip it anymore...

 

EDIT: So i figured it out on my own... when installing Nuka Ride if you have any clothing mods where "slot 40" is needed/used DO NOT choose to install the high heels sound effects patch (the other two you can get separately work like a charm anyway)... unless you dont like pants... which in one sense makes sense if you're a hooker/slut/prostitute/etc i suppose? but that is clearly beside the point here lmao smh...

In Nuka Ride, my character is being punished for being late (second time), has been taken to the pillory in the market and I think the whole thread is nearly complete... but I'm stuck. Still in the pillory and can't move, after the punishment dialogue with the Overboss (when he returned from walk with Gage) who is standing there doing nothing.

If I try "player.moveto <Overboss id>" to get out of the stocks (something I have done to get dialogue unstuck before), the overboss just goes into an endless loop of whipping....

 

Any suggestions?

If you type SQV _NukaRide_Punishment, you get stage: 300, right?

 

Then write SetsTage _NukaRide_Punishment 300

 

That will repeat the stage. In that Stage, the Overboss starts a scene. For some reason, the scene didn't trigger.

 

If it still doesn't kick a scene, let's skip that and write this:

 

SetStage _NukaRide_Punishment 310

I uninstalled Nuka Ride and Nuka Town was smooth again. ?

Some players who have updated to the latest version of SPID recently have also been reporting a large increase in stuttering. Maybe thats what you did ?

 

Edit: My mistake, that was for Skyrim. The Fallout 4 SPID is fine.

I have not started the quest Lost in the Jungle. It is just after Corsican told me to go to Mason.

Thanks, I think I know what happened. I uploaded a hotfix on Mega, while I'm still working on new precombines.

 

Edit: Version 5.1.7 is online. I remade precombines for Nuka Town and added a fix for Mason situation.

Is there a reason you left V 5.1.6 on Mega??

Usually, you remove the earlier version.                 ?

I found a discord where every time I update things go upside down. They have kind of a funny love-hate relationship with my mod. I told them that I would leave previous versions for them, and they say that they will not report bugs if they are using an outdated version.

After you finish NR you can go to Nuka World the Vanilla way and do the playthrough, but it shuts down NR and you will have to start a new game to be able to go back to any NR content.

No, my mod only edits Lyons. The rest is taken care of by AAF and the patches you have installed.

 

To the other user: Orange bells in Vortex means you don't have all the requirements installed. Double check that.

OK, dogmeat was "Fully Functional" when PC left Sanctuary, I wonder What's up??

@JB. I installed Diverse dogs and cats this morning, dogmeat was functional, Kaisers dog was not. I reloaded 3 times, same effect.

I disabled Diverse dogs and cats, and Kaisers dog became functional.

Thanks JB! Setting stage 300 didn't work with several attempts, but setting stage 310 did.

 

On another note...

 

I just went back to do more mule missions for Nisha and my scooter disappeared and hasn't come back. Is that intentional?
