@Kev075 So that dialogue repeats itself over and over again? Huh. I can't replicate it. I wonder if my file got corrupted when uploaded to mega

Yes, exactly the same dialog.

I really think the file got corrupted in mega because I can't reproduce that bug. But I moved some lines and checked that the files were correct. I re-uploaded a new version on mega. It's called 4.2.1

Well this new version allowed me to get past the frozen load screen....I wake up with poodle standing in front of me and I am saying "well, fuck me...that hatchling was actually going to be a lawyer..."  and it repeats over and over just like the other guy.....this is version 4.2.1.7

Tried 4.2.1 ... still stuck at the "hatchling going to be a lawyer" line.  Oddly, I can walk away from poodle at this point but every time I repeat the "hatchling/lawyer" line I am turned back toward him as if in a force greet.

Make sure you have the latest Savage Cabage animations installed......I believe the pole dancing animation is from that file.  Make sure that nukaride is last in your load order....make sure you have all the requirements this mod needs.  These issues have been delt with in the past pages.

for me nothing has to change I always have the same line in a loop Well, fuck me...that hatchling was actually going to be a lawyer...

I think I know what's up with Poodle. I'm going to make a clone. From what I understand you guys don't even have the dialogue option.

 

When creating a clone, you will have to start the quest all over again (load a save from before Charlotte starts the quest).

 

I'll upload a fix in a bit.

OK, I uploaded a small patch called "Patch for 4.2.1". But for it to be effective, you have to load a save before starting the quest.

Thanks for confirming. Unfortunately it seems that the effect of Poodle's death doesn't seem to work (you know, when he drops dead...). I'll see if I can fix it, but the main problem is at least fixed.

Yes...it works....did you do anything to get me to not freeze on the load screen, because it is now fixed....not sure if you did somthing or I did something....well it works now and thats all that matters.  Thanks.

I'm getting a similar problem as others that the Lucy quest doesn't start. I do have Just business installed but I haven't even been to the Abernathy farm so I know that the actors are all the originals and are alive. I have a save from before I get the letter, should I run over and do Lucy's melon picking quest first to see if that is the problem?  I don't like to console quest starts if I can avoid it since it can cause issues later down the line.

 

Turns out the problem was just script lag, I reloaded the game, paused it for about 30 minutes while I watched a friend's stream and the quest ran without any problems.

I updated the list of quest stages for 4.2.1. It is best to avoid using SetStage for beta testing. But if you can't advance the quest without it then here is the list. If you encounter a bug after using this command don't forget it might be a result of using the command.

Probably the plugin is not activated in your mod organizer. Everything is included in my mod, as always, but sometimes the mod organizer doesn't activate the plugin even if you install everything, so you go to Plugins and press "Sort Now". At least that is my experience with Vortex.

I'm excited to try the latest version when I restart, for now I'll install so I can play the DLC as normal, but I'll check all the other things out first! 

 

Also looking forward to see what you come up with on the new mod you're doing, and I'm sure all the things you learned here will make that one start out so much more polished, right off the bat.  I'm sure I'll be testing along the way on that one too.
