Hey guys, new to the mod here. Awesome mod, but I have some questions, probably asked (and solved) already, but I'd appreciate any help since I tried to read as much as i could of the thread's 203 pages but, well... it's a freakin' lot, and I couldn't find any info about any of my issues. First of all, I've all the requirements installed (even the soft ones) and the mod's core is running well, but I've encountered 3 big bugs.

All started good, received the letter, read it and went to Drumlin Diner, where I found a 2nd robot with a pick-up. It asked me if I wanted to go to Nuka, I said yes. The sound of an engine started, loading screen appeared, and like 3 seconds later loading screen finished and I was at the exact same place, my 30 caps back and if like nothing happened. Tried a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time, always the same outcome. (1st bug)

So, I just used a console command to go to Nuka, arrived, and another robot asked for an ad of my PC dancing. Purple lights went on but then, no dancing animation (2nd bug). Right after, it said to go see another guy outside the market who said to go to see Mason, who asked first for a pole dance and then some other explicit stuff (again, no animations, repeating the 2nd bug). Since no animations were played, I had to use console commands to advance through the quest since I couldn't launch them manually via de AAF menu neither.

Finally, Mason said to go and see the Producer, who asked my PC to go to the 4th floor to make a scene (2nd bug again). After that, the motorcycle quest started. At DC, again the 2nd bug with the mayor; had to use console commands. Then, after talking to another robot outside DC to go back to Nuka, 1st bug hit again. Console command, arrived to Nuka, talked with the producer who paid for the job, quest finished, and now, not only I don't have more active quests (since the Become a Porn Star quest is set as active but all its stages are finished), but every try to talk to him he says something like "Hey babe, you're a porn actress now. Dress like one, use your head", but no matter which one is the outfit used (the one given by mason, or by the guy at the market, or by the producer itself) he only repeats that line over and over again, so, not sure if this one's a bug or something that I'm missing.

Appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.

The mod is not working properly for some reason. You can give it higher priority in your mod manager. Does your AAF even work? Because from what I see no animation is firing.

check your savage cabbage animation package.....make sure you have the latest version.....the pole dancing is in this animation pack.  Make sure you have AAF installed exactly like the "fucking manual" says.  Once I had AAF installed correctly most of the "bugs" I had when I first started play testing this mod went away.  Even though I could play other mods without any noticeable problems AAF was not installed correctly.  JB has made it where the game doesn't crash anymore when you don't have the right AAF animations...they just get skipped now and that sounds like what is happening.

What animation packs are required other than Savage cabbage if any?

BP70

Savage Cabbage

Leito

That is the basics. But if you install everything according to the guide you should have a lot more animations available. I decided to leave the link to the official AAF guide, the best thing will always be to install all the animations that they ask you for there.

Ok, first of all, thanks for your answer, really appreciate it. Yes, actually i have this mod at the end of my load order (just before NAC X). About my AAF, yes, it works without any problem. Actually, all the mods I have installed, related or not to this one work perfectly fine since I'm very meticulous reading descriptions, incompatibilities, etc, but it is just with this one that animations are not triggering, although the mod itself is running

Then it might be one of your other mods interfering.  When I don't have anything other than what is required it works....what is NAC X......Nukaride should be third from last and only the two patches that Nukaride install should be after.  What does AAF say after the scene doesn't play?

Thanks for your answer. Alright, I just installed the latest version of cabbage since I had one before. About the manual, I have none of the "avoid these mods/patches" installed, and now i'm checking if I have all the mods needed.

About the other 2 bugs (the loading screen bug and the not getting a new quest after the motorcycle one) you have any ideas?

@xRCx

Well the mod works fairly well even with many mods. Maybe it is as Splithorse says and there is another mod interfering, because something very basic and functional is the "rides" to Nuka World and that is not working in your game.

You have everything up to date, right? AAF (very important), animations, requirements up to date. And again make sure to give it a higher priority in your load order, especially if you have a lot of mods.

Next time AAF fails to start a cutscene, screenshot your AAF Admin panel.

And for testing purposes, you can try a new game with basic mods.

NAC X is a mod that changes some atmospheric/environment stuff. Pretty cool mod tbh, it even has some reshades integrated, lightning options, etc.

AAF doesn't say anything. Example: Mason asks for the pole dance. When he finishes his dialogue, the pole appears but I can't select it nor any animation starts automatically. When I try to open AAF manually, it doesn't open the scene selector, just the admin page but I can't navigate through it, so, in this case, I'm forced to advance the quest via console commands. Example 2: The scene at the 4th floor with the plumber guy. Dialogue goes smooth, but when the animation has to trigger, AAF says nothing, and a few seconds later I'm able to continue the dialogue where he says something like "that was fun", and I can continue with the quest without console commands

yeah....I downloaded and installed NAC X and put it last in the load order....all my animations work just fine....just did the pole dance with mason....so it isn't that mod at all.  We need to get this fixed or it will ruin the experience of this mod.  If you have to  force advance through to the next quest step you will run into other problems down the road....

Sure, I'll send you the screenshot.

Yes, I have everything up to date or 1 version before the latest. Anyway, right now I'm reinstalling everything that needs to be updated, which are very few mods. Also yes, I have your mod just 1 above the last one (which is about atmospheric stuff, so, no interference between them)

Yeah, actually I read in your description about playing this mod in a new save, so I started fresh. If problems persist, I'm going to create a new profile just with this mod and it's requirements for testing purposes.

Any idea about the last "bug", with the Producer telling me the same sentence about the clothing even tho I have tried all the outfits given until this point of the story (Mason's, market guy's and Producer's)?

Thank you guys for the help provided

The producer hopes to find a keyword in you, which apparently you don't have. That keyword is put by Sullivan when you say goodbye to him. Sullivan gives you a couple of things (the skin care cream and the cleaning kit), and he also gives you a keyword.

So yeah, something is not letting the scripts fire correctly.

Yeah. While scrolling through the thread, I read a lot about this mod being the shit and I was like "ohhh damn :(", and tbh, this is the first mod I encounter problems with, and one of the least I wanted to have them. I'm going to try with the mods that I just updated. Be back in a few.

Oh yeah, I definitely received those articles from him, and I actually received, not a keyword apparently, lol, but a key too (I don't remember who gave me that one, tho).

Ok so, everything is pointing to a mod interfering with this one. That's great to know since now I have a foundation to start working with. Which kind of mods you think are the most probable to be causing this interference?

This is the best part. You have to discover it yourself ? I have no idea. Here people played with SS2 and dozens of other mods. The effectiveness of the scripts may depend on whether the pc can handle many script intensive mods.

As for the keyword that "Sullivan gives you" it is actually something that happens internally, you as a player do not notice it. But yes, basically Corsican expects you to have that keyword to proceed / end the quest.

Anyway, you can see the guide that I linked on the main page to proceed with the stages and quests, but I really think that you have to solve your problem first. The mod works fine, but it also depends a lot on your "mod ecosystem".

While it's impossible to do internally, there are still ways to achieve it. I've created JP sometime ago which can be used for this. The instructions are the same as for the "Submissive Lola" mod:

You may want to mention this for those folks who want to have it for RP reasons.

Creating a patch to alter the built-in Nuka Ride names is an awesome idea! And that JP script is going to come in handy.

Your idea reminded me of an xEdit script I wrote years ago to do search and replace. It is almost a perfect fit for creating a custom Nuka name.

I just ran the script on Nuka Ride and it seems to work like a charm. Using it I created an example .esp that changes Bubbles to Anissa, Jewel to Kate,
Candy to Carmen, and Starlight to Elektra. There was a couple properties I avoided changing. Such as global names and script properties.

Yeah, I updated a few mods today (just like 3 or 4 that needed it, the rest were ok), made a test but problems persisted. I have a pretty powerful PC so I don't think that should be the problem. So, maybe tomorrow I'll start with the trial and error process. Fortunately I don't have a lot of mods so it shouldn't take long. Anyway, thanks to you and to @Splithorse for guiding me on the right direction because I was lost. I'll update you guys later this week if I found the incompatible mod in case you want to update your list.

Yeah, I leaned on that guide, actually. But as you well said, I didn't continue further of the mentioned quest since the mod is not intended to be played that way, obviously. So, I'll find the error first

In Lost in the Jungle after Kells returns from his date, the Pack outfit is automatically equipped, but the quest doesn't update and still says to "talk to Kells". Should I just do a setstage to advance, or am I missing something?

EDI: Was a hung script. setstage _nukaride_jungle 220 automatically added the helmet and advanced the quest. Phew!

Since Nukaride installed, sex animations in all other mods have not been played. Not only Nukaride's sex animation, but all other mod's sex animation such as [violate], [sex em up], and so on are not played. So when Nukaride is uninstalled, all other mod's sex animations are played normally. Nukaride 4.1.3 was operating normally. I don't know what the cause is. While installing Nukaride 4.2, I also updated FPE redux to the latest version, but since then sex animations have not been playing. There was no problem when using the old version of FPE and Nukaride 4.1.3. All the requirement mod files for Nukaride are also properly installed. When I played 4.1.3 everything worked.
There are only two things that have changed before. Updated FPE to the latest version (4.005). And updated nukaride to version 4.2. Oh, and the Wasteland Dairy Framework has also been updated to the latest version. FPE and WDF mods I used before were almost 18 months old.
Oh, I'll add it. Now, the 4.1.3 version of animation is not played either.

Hi, great  and funny mod !.

I´ve played the whole mod till the end and then tried to start Nuka World DLC as normal ( the gauntlet mission).

In the last update log ( 4.2) says the everything should reset except the apartment and your clone , well this is what i noticed so far:

-After finishing the gauntlet quest and meeting the different gang leaders it prompts the quest " great tour" ( to conquer the other parts ot the park asaide Nuka town)

i get the prompt for the different sections of the park to be conquered with one exception : Safari adventure says to assign a gang to that park ( no mention to the safari adventure quest), Cito is in the primates building and unable to talk , also the gang toons from the pack are still there and you cant assign any gang to thet park section because the flag pole doesn´t work.

At Dry Rock Gulch ( no starting mission to conquer it ) and i get the prompt to get the "benefits" of that section.

Also i´ve noticed, ( not really a problem for me :) )  that Sierra Petrovita is still dressed as a bunny ( which is cute, ha) a couple of cged dancers in  Mason´s lair ( pack gang), nother dancer in Nukatown and Music´s scotter parked in frotn of her " former" tattoo shop( now closed, as  the club , the theater and the pron studio , as it should be ).

After defeating poodle, the "(Optional) Talk to William" crashes the game with this:

image.jpg.f1d81d97fa8a1b13f382569ff9699611.jpg

Happens after I press E on william, character says "Hey, William", and when it's his turn to respond, the game freezes. The Buffout4.log is empty, there is no crash log, it just freezes and pops this error message.

Talking to anyone else (music, billy, thompson) works fine, and also ending the stage by talking to sarra, so that's what I did. Just thought I should mention the william crash.

Also, after completing "Kill Me Softly" and getting told I can go do Nuka Club, there's nothing to do there? The receptionist just says some passive comments, no dialogue. On the upper floor it's just 4 bunnies, and the dude's head. Bunnies also only have passive comments, and when I click E on the head, nothing happens.

Hi JB, another report just in case.

I don't know if it's caused by your mod as I use console command to block power play and keep the 3 gangs alive so I can't be sure, but I didn't get that bug in previous playthrough with NR 3.x where I did the same.

The quest Amoral combat ( dlc04settlementFF01 ) is stopped with no aliases ( maybe because of Frinch in specials girls ), I had to fill the aliases and setstage to trigger the quest.

EDIT : after setstage 5 and talking to Frinch, the quest marker indicates the door from the gauntlet and not the arena one, wich is inaccessible, maybe the bug is from my game, I don't know if anyone else has the same bug after NR 4.2

There is currently no quest for the Nuka Club. That will be in the future.

Don't you have F4Z Ro Doh installed? That's all I can think of regarding the CTD.

That is to be expected since we have already released the park. Continue with the other parks and Safari will autocomplete itself.

That NPC is released from my mod when I finish Special Girls, so It shouldn't have any problems. But I haven't tested the DLC much, so I'll write it down and look into it.

If 4.1 worked for you before and now it doesn't, then it may be a conflict caused by another mod.

Do you have everything installed as the official AAF guide or rather have a custom installation? I haven't heard any problems from those using the official guide.

However, the mod also works fine without official patches. The basics is to have Leito, Savage Cabbage and BP70, always up to date of course.
