I seem to be stuck on the first scene with Adolf in Goodneighbor.  I've tried the first option twice, asking him why the fuck he's wearing that outfit, it cuts to the X-Cross (after the fight noises transition screen) and then he just stands there.  I just tried option 3, telling him I'd killed traders and stolen a beer, and the same thing happened.  That time I had brought up the AAF Wizard first to see if it was "Gathering" but the AAF UI does not appear after player character travels to the X-Cross.  I'm not sure what is supposed to happen as this is the farthest I have gotten playing through the mod.  Any advice?

 

Point the camera at him and talk to him.

It's hard to get used to because when you're on the cross you lose the HUD, but "it's still there". So that. Point him and talk to him.

Thanks, pressing E to activate towards him worked :)  Great scene.

I could not tell you. It's not that I use that mod either, but if you discover it don't hesitate to let me know so I can make it compatible with that mod.

ive already completed the mule quest and nisha loop into the same dialog i'm missing something ? or this is work in progress

also my clone said something about Lyons but the dialog was interupted there is a quest with lyons that i miss checked the dog he has no dialog?

just here to ask if i missed something ?

It does not refer to the first mule mission (the one with Solomon) but to a new series of mule missions. Go visit Nisha and successfully completes a quest for her.

Oh, that's because one of Nisha's potential clients is dead in your game. Were you playing in a new game or in an advanced game?

 

These NPC need to be alive


Hawthorne
The guy who paints the wall in DC
The hobo, I don't remember his name.
The son of mr. Latimer (Nelson Latimer?)
The teacher
Edna, the teacher's assistant
The pastor and the 2 npcs who pray

Tony Savoldi, Stoctkon (bunker hill)

Farenheit, Marowski (GN)

 

It's a shame but you won't be able to move forward and get the scooter.

 

But at least you can "lie" to the mod and make it think you did a quest for Nisha.

Write to the console:

Set _NR_Mule to 1

 

And now you can visit the Overboss

i see i will check for them if they are alive my save is kinda advanced i've killed kellog and made some bounties in DC but i dont think any of these npc are dead but with all the mod it's not impossible that one of them gone missing for some reason if not i'm going to cheat x)

 

i wondering if you can resurrect npc before attaching script in modding to prevent these king of bug?

i'm a developper but never take a shot to see how developpement work in fallout4 ?

Yes, I can do it. I already did it in other quests.


I'm a bit lazy because there are like 25 npc xD

 

But it would only work in a game before winning Made In Heaven, since that's when the Quest tries to start.

so the mod is pretty fun so far, but i cant seem to talk to the mayor of DC when trying to get the motorcylce, after talking to him and all of that and he takes you to the back for fun, it just becomes a infinite loading screne

Do you have the AAF "fade to black" effect disabled in AAF_settings.ini?

 

fadeout_during_lock

 

I want to put it on my list of incompatibilities, along with F4z Ro Doh.

Just wondering as he can be recruited and sent to a settlement, wondered if that might confuse the mod, if it is him that is

Oh yes Sheffield! Even if he is a settler, when he starts his quest, he starts using a package that forces him to go to a certain point in Diamond City.

Even if he is your settler, the truth is that the scene is not out of place. Since in the new mule missions, you go infiltrated, with a cap and without tattoos, so that no one recognizes you.

The npc is Nelson Latimer one of my mod added a quest were he is selling some drugs and you go to the location and kill him i think this is outcast and remnants so i go for the Set _NR_Mule to 1 Thanks for help ?

So I just finished another complete walkthru....I had one CTD with bulldog where you are supposed to be filmed on the machine....it bypassed that scene and went to where you are all tattooed and he come to get you to follow him....if it does not start the machine scene it CTD as soon as you complete the dialog and you get up to follow him.....I reloaded just before that and it loaded ok and I talked to him again and this time it went to the machine scene just fine and I was able to finish that quest without further problems.  I also had a problem coming back from the institute guys where I run up to Music and she is pissed off...just after the dialog where she says she rented a bed for the night it CTD's.  It crashed at that same spot twice in a row but the third time reloading and it worked.  So not sure why, but I seem to have most of the CTD's that I was getting fixed...I did away with the armor and weapon resource mod and installed the one that you recommended and got that all sorted.  Not too bad going through the whole thing....with just a few reloads.

This is the ctd I am always talking about. If that device is missing you can be sure as hell that next bit where you have to follow is going to cdt. If I remember correctly there was mention here somewhere that its caused by real handcuffs. To be honest tho its so random and easy to always replicate. So its hard to say for sure what is causing that.

yeah...I fixed the realhandcuffs by disabling them in the mcm....but it didn't cure that scene 100%....now it is hit or miss....before it was always a fail....at least my saves will load now....

 

question....is that machine supposed to be animated?  Both the one with bulldog and the one with the scientists?  Because both are static with no moving parts.

The machine has a little animation, it happens with it sounds, and the vibrator moves, very light animation
