AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

having updated to 4.03 i dont expect things to work to well as ive played quite a bit since playing v3 and blown up the BOS 

 

would it be worth setstaging past my blocked progress (eg moving rising porn star on by console) or not ?

Yeah....I would start over with a clean save.....there are a bunch of NPC that need to be alive or things will be hosed.  Set staging can work for some things....others it will still be messed up if the problem is a dead NPC...like the Overboss....lol

You could always resurrect them, although its a tad lorebreaking. I had to with the farmer at Abernathy, as due to the Sexual Harassment mod he followed me across the commonwealth, only to get told to piss off and then wandered in to the wrong part of the wilderness on the way back

hahaha i have that turned off. nothing like being on my way to kill kellog to turn around and see the ghoulified Vault-Tec guy stalking me

You can see why even Vault-Tec didnt include that guy on the invite list

I'm having an issue with the institute guys. If I give all sarcastic answers the next two scenes playout but I get a dead loading screen when it moves to explaining what's going on. If I give the "correct" answers it leads to death. A mix of answers leads to death so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what.

Even in vanilla, I recruited him for Sanctuary, I never saw him there, on a trip back to goodneighbor I found his corpse in an alley outside, killed by a Gunner or a Super Mutant.

all sarcastic answers are the right way to go....if you are getting a hung loading screen then try moving the mod down one in the load order....some loads can take a long time....let it sit there for a few minutes.  Also there is a scene with a devious machine that if you have the real handcuff mod activated it can cause problems...disable real handcuff in the MCM under debug.....and try again.

Thanks for the advice. It did fix one awkward scene but at the end of it I still get the stalled loading screen I tried moving the load order for nukaride but it dose not seem to help. I may have a conflict.

Anything that changes followers can have adverse effects....I had a mod that changed the looks of a few of the common followers and I had to disable it.....lets hope that Bethesda's Space RPG will be more stable than Skyrim or FO4.....

Hi, thank you for your mod, i recently just played it. It was a bit "rough" at times but still was alot of fun and at times hilarious. My reason for commenting was really because i wanted to see if i could still go through Nuka World normally as a male Overboss character and was pleasantly surprised that i could which is awesome. I look forward to your update and wish you well.

I'm running though the amazing new 4.0 content again and a couple of observations.

HHT works fine if you enable/disable before any forced equipment swap, but and this is a big one, if you are using before "A New Name" if will 100% bug when your name changes.  Even uninstalling/reinstalling does not fix.  I uninstalled before this run, but do want to test if it works if I install post name change, I've got a backup to test later with.

 

Here was a really neat one, I installed the new FusionGirl and the new BodyGen for BT3 & FG then got my clone, who got her own BodyGen!

You can change the name back without mods, just type 14.showspecialmenu try it and check if changing it back to your original name fix it.

Fallout has a trigger called Unique Camera event and uses it very rarely. It is used when you meet Piper for the first time (shows a pan of the DC gate) or is used on the Prydwen, when Maxson wants you to see Fort Hagen (camera points to the island).

 

I have been looking at how it is used and am using it on a couple of occasions. For example here, overriding the dialog camera hehehe.

I clarify that I MUST do this because I want the subtitles to be read during an AAF scene. Otherwise, the subtitles are not displayed.

I'm sure I missed the discussion on this, unless it's something in my game.  When I start the mule runs, the map/fast travel markers for DC are removed, which makes sense so you can't skip Keyshawn.  Are they supposed to come back though?  I finished all 5, but they're still gone even when I ride the scooter there, did I just miss a conversation someplace or are they supposed to be gone, or is it my install I need to troubleshoot?

The dialog camera has always been terrible, you invest a lot of hours in your Avy, and in every dialog the camara sets on who ever you're talking to... geesh!, so that "point" of view is very welcome.

I found my clone and changed her name, such a beautiful, short story, very touching man, thanks.

No...not just you.  I have also finished everything and there is no DC map marker....but the mule quests are repeatable so maybe he left it off on purpose.  you can always fast travel to the sewer opening...it is very close by.

Ouch... I forgot to reset them! It is a simple script. In your case, you will have to do a mule mission (successful or not) with the new update and you will recover the markers.

The markers disappear when they put the drug in you.
They should appear when you return to NW (success or not).

This special camera is somewhat complicated to assemble. And you can only mount it manually in creation kit. It is not dynamic like the dialogue camera. No wonder they didn't use it much. Basically, I will only be able to use this camera in certain scenes, after editing and scripting.

Trying out the 4.0 version and I'm wondering if you moved the robot that starts the whole thing. He doesn't seem to be where he was, the truck is missing and I'm wondering if something just didn't install properly.

A red eyebot should be following you. When you interact with the eyebot, he hands you a pamphlet that tells you where Charon is now.

 

The eyebot starts its journey in the vicinity of Vault 111. If you're not around, just fast travel to another location or wait somewhere, and the eyebot will come to you sooner or later.

OOPS!!!!! I built a new loadout with this new computer and thought that eyebot was from a random encounter, so I shot it and it ran away. I wasn't sure why it was following me and assumed it was an attack lag. If nothing else, it has given me a good laugh for jumping the gun, LOL.

JB...is there a way to put a waypoint marker on the eye bot?  It would let people know that it might be important.  I think the only reason I knew to talk to it was you told those of us play testing.....I can see people not in the know might never talk to it.

JB - This is a minor issue considering everything you're dealing with trying to get 4.0 finished.  But I'm wondering how difficult it would be to add custom locations to the options available with the Scooter?

Hi ! I've tried Nuka ride first with the tentacus edition, then tried the 4.03 version for additional content (I really love it), though it doesn't seem to work anymore.

When I exit the vault (reload just before vault exit, not a totally new save), I have an eyebot following but I can't interact with it. I found "Charon" at the dinner, however the dialogue is buggy, whether I pay or "satisfy" him, he loops in the dialogue without getting me to nuka.

I tried reloading a save already in Nuka, but no animation plays and the dialogue always loop (for ex the first dialogue with mason ends up with him asking me to dance, but nothing happens and if I talk to him again the dialogue restarts...)

 

Is there another requirement that I missed, between the tentacus version and the 4.03 ? I installed the 4.03 and its patch, put them near the bottom of the load order...
