Make sure the Material folders from the required outfit mods also get installed.

actually i shouldn't be testing a mod with heavy scripted load order in the first place. however, i have Cough installed, and I feel it may be the problem, coughing in the middle of dialogue, i had the CTD again with Geneva (unfortunately it didn't generate a buffout log), but instead I extended the time between coughs so that it's a little more unlikely that i'm in the middle of dialogue when i cough, i'll report back

Don't know if anyone else is having this issue but when ever I go to read the job offer I crash but if I drop it first then read it, no issue

Edit - @osculim is this the type of issue that you're talking about this the Companion mods?  I've really only got stuff like shut up dogmeat, and stealth distance fixes, except for OMG AIO that replaces Cait, Piper and Curie and Synthkind Redefined that changes Gen 2 synths.  Anything in particular I should look for apart from those two?

Basically all that can cause something like that. I had a missing torture rack in the little room with bulldog aswell. So the animation wouldn't play either. As for which follower mods to remove. Literally anything follower related will break that quest. The last time I played I forgot about a simple curie mod that just changes her appearance and even that broke that chain before that it was just a small script change to dogmeat. Removed loaded my game saved my game and reloaded it again. Not only was the cdts gone but the torture device was in the room too. I should mention however the torture rack could be related to the position of the esp in my loadorder as I moved nukaride right to dead last just before UAP There must be some weird curse on that questline

Do not drop it. If you look at it in the pipboy you will see its got no texture. If you drop it in the world a missing mesh or texture could cause a cdt

Not sure what cdt is, but haven't had any issues since I picked it up. I only crash when I try to open it from my pip boy.

Sorry I mean "ctd" crash to desktop. Never had the issue you are mentioning. Worked fine right out of the inventory for me.

In my experience, I have had cases like this due to having many scripts running at the same time. Specifically, it happened to me a lot during the testing of serving drinks to VIPs, so I had to learn to "dose" scripts or simplify them.

Consider temporarily disabling mods with lots of scripts that might be constantly running in the background.
Have Real Handcuffs up to date.
Torture devices up to date.

tried setstage _nukaride_heaven 320, but that only move to the scene where the character is locked to the walled and fucked by Baldwin(?), next scene didnt play, not possible to progress, tried it again got whipped, locked to the wall and fucked, ass fondled by boris, then it frezzes.

I had that with the similar Mayor scene in 3.x, and it turns out it was being triggered by my AAF config (I'd turned off AAF's own fade to black before animations). Apparently whatever fade to black NR was doing didn't get cleared unless AAF also did its own fade to black. I don't recall if that bug got fixed.

For the torture machines you need "Bad End Animations". I didn't touch that mission in version 4.x

 Was the "no animation on Earl with the pool table" because of an errant semicolon in the tags? There was one in my file, but I wasn't sure if I put it there by mistake or not. It worked after I removed it.

Also the "Nuka Feet" animation looks for the forms in Kziitd's poses and not BP's animations.

Minor issue I noticed testing 4.0 that I'd never seen in my previous playthroughs.  The NR Purse didn't have a 1st person body model attached to it, so I'd get that weird image glitch while crouched.  I've added the file path for the first person body .nif to both purses in FO4Edit on my end, which fixed the problem.  I thought you should know in case this change needs to be made globally before the official release.

Thanks. Haven't implemented Nuka Feet yet. I'm going to raise the height a little so it doesn't look like you're going through someone's mouth with your heels.

If nothing works, try uninstalling / disabling various mods that you might find conflicting and testing.

Couple more things I've noticed.  I'm not sure if these are "me problems" or a global thing.  I've now got at least three copies of the overboss note from the apartment.  I also noticed that the holotapes on the table in the apartment repopulated after I stored them in the chest.  Also, the shower in the apartment doesn't seem to have the CWSS patch applied to it.  Toilet works though.
