Sure, anyone can help and report bugs. Remember to make lots of saves.

Yep with this 3rd playthrough I have saves at all problem areas so far.

Like every time you do anything, anywhere, anytime, you should save, lots & lots & lots of saves.  Because everything works really good, until it doesn't and you need to backup and troubleshoot, but that's why we're testing it!!

Quick question JB is there any significance to the overboss note I found in my apartment laying on the floor in the kitchen ? Or is it just for flavor

I plan to use her at some point in the story. She has to give you a special armor and promote you from rank bitch to Overbitch.

At the part where you interact with Baldwyn and Boris, after being whipped by Boris and completing the following 2 sex scenes with them, the screen fades to black and stays like that. The Vault-Tec symbol in the lower right corner stops animating and nothing. No CTD, thus no crash log. I have to use Task Manager to kill the game. I've made three attempts and it's the same result each time.

Oh, that's what you meant! It is true. I don't know why the dog behaves like this. The script is the same one I use for Apollo, the Studio's dog. I'm going to take a closer look at it tonight.

The script sends you back to the cross, and removes your handcuffs. It's hard to tell you what might be going wrong.

Torture Devices and Real Handcuffs are up to date?

Try this setstage when Boris is done whipping you.

SetStage _NukaRide_Heaven 320

It won't fix your problem, but at least you'll jump to the next stage without going to the cross.

I had that with the similar Mayor scene in 3.x, and it turns out it was being triggered by my AAF config (I'd turned off AAF's own fade to black before animations). Apparently whatever fade to black NR was doing didn't get cleared unless AAF also did its own fade to black. I don't recall if that bug got fixed.

Had a similar problem with the cross in the apartment on my first playthrough. If you have devious devices installed remove that and try again.

I've got a missing asset in Lucy this time, where does the elctro-torture rack and the gallows come from, because both are missing.  I also had no animation on Earl with the pool table, but did with Hal.

 

Edit - @osculim is this the type of issue that you're talking about this the Companion mods?  I've really only got stuff like shut up dogmeat, and stealth distance fixes, except for OMG AIO that replaces Cait, Piper and Curie and Synthkind Redefined that changes Gen 2 synths.  Anything in particular I should look for apart from those two?

I already have this fixed, but I haven't uploaded the fix yet.

 

For the torture machines you need "Bad End Animations". I didn't touch that mission in version 4.x

ok....so I decided to wipe fo4 from my machine and reinstall it.  I downloaded the most recent version of the required mods.  I have AAF installed and working along with all of the required animations.  As soon as I install the 4.0.0e FoMod and run the game I do not get the Nuka Road installed and ready message.  I look in MCM and it is there, but says the plug in is not loaded.  Is this a load order problem...I am using Vortex and have no clue as to how to change any load order.

In Vortex, look under "Plugins". 99% sure Nuka Ride.esp is disabled.

Hi JB, I'm getting an error with the motorcycle guys at the Atom cats with your 4.0, no animation plays and then CTD happens when I try to speak to the guys again. the error in AAF is:

 

AAF: [034] Failed to start FM scene because there are no 'FEMALE HUMAN + MALE HUMAN' animations. Filters: includeTags(NUKAPOOL)

Thanks for the report! It is already fixed for the next version. Although the animation fails, it still progresses from stage, that's why I don't need to upload the fix urgently.

 

But that CTD is very rare. I think you are the first to report something a CTD with the mechanics. Do you have the buffout crash log?

Glad Earl issue was fixed.

 

I have Bad End 1.05 and  Craftable Furniture 1.0 that I have to assume I need since it has the devices installed, and it's worked before.  I'm finally rebuilding my install though, I've just had too much instability and oddity lately(not just from Nuka Ride by any means), something is just been off and I'm done troubleshooting,  Luckily I keep all my downloads in MO2 and elsewhere so it really doesn't take that long to rebuild!

 

I'll be back in a couple of days at most and I'll leave companion mods(even though I think I had used all of them though Lucy at least 4 times before with zero issues) disabled until after NR.

Thanks....but it was just the load order....I think I have it sorted....although now I am missing textures on some of the clothes....I swear...if it's not one thing it's the other!  Now I have an error in AAF.....overlay error 086.....to many for the log to handle....it works though.

There is a problem with the following:

 

-Unique Player
-The voice of the protagonist when she wants to say something (probably to the mechanics)

It may be related to your "Higher Female Voice" mod.

 

Not that those mods are exactly problematic, but maybe they intersect at some point and create an unexpected conflict.

 

Try disabling those mods for just a moment to see if you don't have any more CTDs.

Unfortunately even vanilla Fallout settlements are script heavy. Especially if you trick the game into more than 20 settlers. Modded ones make it worse. They cause a lot of background processing when you are nearby. This can make a fellow mod start crashing when it tries to do something too. If you do have a giant settlement I would use JB's setstage command. No reason to remove mods when manually advancing the quest works fine.

You're missing a couple of texture requirements, check out the main page here on Loverslab. I use the textures and materials from Easy Girl and TRS.
