Think this might just be happening when there are changes to the apartment. So when they refurnish it or the pole is installed or the posters are put up. I haven't seen it reset otherwise. As for the shower and cwss works perfectly fine on my end.

Had another minor issue with one of the Mule quests. When bringing the package to the Codmans, only Mr. Codman was in the room. But you need Mrs. Codman, too, else the scene is going to break. Found her in the pub nearby and moved her to Codman's residence. After that the scene went well.

Nevertheless: this mod is a piece of art. Thanks a lot JB.

Ok...I think I have my shit sorted.  New save with no mods installed.  I thought I had a clean save, but AAF had lots of errors.  So installed just the mods needed for this mod along with a few mods to take care of how she looks.  Started the clean save and everything went without trouble until the overboss got stuck on the railing....reloaded twice just before that and he finally didn't get stuck.  One CTD where Gage pretends to be Rottweiler....reloaded and it worked ok the second time.  Doing the Mule run to Mr Codman and his wife up on the middle deck...when I entered his house he just talked to me like normal.  reloaded a bunch of times and he finally talked to me like he should but when said something about his wife helping me with a problem....when AAF started to Gather the scene it went to an endless loading blank screen......reloaded and started again and same thing so I just ended the scene before it really started by hitting end and it bypassed that scene.  I think the trouble was that his wife was not there to start with.  So once I bypassed that scene then she came in and whipped me and I think it finished ok after that.  All the other Mule episodes work ok.

 

Oh and one last thing.....the Jungle part where I get the armor  so I can talk with jungle man.  I can wear everything but the helmet and jungle man won't talk to me without it on.  Had to jump to next stage manually there.  Then from there on I have this glitch where when automatically putting my clothes back on it will have me wearing the armor or the mule outfit along with whatever I have on at the time.  Not sure what is causing that.  I also have that glitch where AAF only loads to 86% on reloading sometimes.....reloading usually takes care of this.  I might need to install one of the AAF patches to fix that.  Am I right about it being over for now after the Jungle episode except for the repeatable Overboss and being a Mule?

Removed loaded my game saved my game and reloaded it again. Not only was the cdts gone but the torture device was in the room too. I should mention however the torture rack could be related to the position of the esp in my loadorder as I moved nukaride right to dead last just before UAP There must be some weird curse on that questline :D

I've been rebuilding and have left everything companion related off my list.  I rarely run with one anyway, so I don't know why I care.  I'll just do quick shots with them later in the game and use console commands to bump affinity so I don't have to listen to them long. :)

Did you update NukaRide from a past version to v4? I had a missing shower after updating. JB said he thought it could be related to me updating.

My CWSS shower didn't truly disappear it moved locations to a hidden spot. I was able to permanently move it back using console commands. I shared the commands in an earlier post. Check my post history if you want to try them.

So how do i start this quest? After getting a ride to Nuka World nobody talks to me (Shank,Mason or the robot near the entrance)

The truth is that in none of my tests I could make Ann work well, there was always something. I think I better make a clone of her. She has a package that I can't find to stop it.

 

I already have a fix for Morgan's helmet. It's because you have the collar for being an Overboss bitch.

nothing will happen until you talk to the robot by the dog......if that isn't happening then not sure.  Did you read the letter from the bot at the vault exit?  You have to start a clean save.

awsome.  You are just about there with the bugs I think....or at least the major bugs.  I don't think you can ever get them all due to the game itself being so finicky about things.  I suppose there could be a hundred or more different little things that have to be just right for something to work as planned.  My hat is off to you and the rest of the modders out there.

Had an issue as a mule for Nisha. I was caught by the guard. The screen faded to black and stayed that way.

Thanks, I missed creating the layer to block the player controls. I don't think that should cause a CTD.

The second error is much more harmless. There is simply no "999" target. I should have put "900" which is "Report to Nisha about your failure".

 

The CTD must be for something else.


Gamaramdi told me that he had a lot of CTD exactly like you, in the same place. It was because of the mule outfit, it seems that there were problems with the bone weight but Ihave already corrected it. Do you have the latest version of bodyslide? Do you use CBBE or FG? 

 

A buffout report might also help.

I have noticed that some of the actors only start moving to their locations once you enter diamond city. I have found hawthorn outside aswell once and then started walking to the green house. You could maby do something like you have with soloman where if you talk to him you go to his house.

    1. During the second scene with the Overboss on the couch something strange happened with AAF. Instead of going into freefly cam during the scene I had control of the player. For me it was 100% consistent for this scene.

    2. After the first AAF scene with Maxon my torso slot does not reequip. Possibly related to the handcuffs that are equipped. I do not know if this might inform the above behavior.

  3. Small feature idea. When Music asks you for backstory could the Vault Dweller option have 2 branches. A) You are mother to Shaun. B) You were a Vault Dweller but no mention of family. The popular alternate start mod defaults to you waking up in the Vault next to a dead couple. Shaun is not your baby. If you select the Vault Dweller/no family dialogue option the rest of the quest could proceed as though you selected Wastelander. Also I loved this quest and its two branches.

  4. With Boris questions:
    1.   Reveal hidden contents

      If I got all answers right it just goes back to the first question. If that is on purpose it might be confusing. I saw you mention that the player "won't survive" if that happens. For me nothing happens. Perhaps a scene should immediately play that kills the player?

       

    2.   Reveal hidden contents

      In my opinion there could be an option to continue other than your momma jokes. The comical dialogue is great. But for it to be necessary feels out of character to the rest of the mod. Perhaps an alternate path?

       

  5. Boris would sometimes continue whipping me during the scene with Baldwyn. He would open up the door walk through and start whipping. This happened 3 out of 4 times.

  6. When Kells sends me to Mason to Pay Respects I keep the popup. It says "You haven't paid Mason a visit since...". I got the popup a few times in a row. I believe its each time I loaded a new cell.

  7. Quest stage 280 of _NukaRide_Jungle does not have an objective market. It does say Report back to Charlotte though. Not hard to figure it out.

 

I had one other issue I'm currently debugging. Genital physics collisions were broken when wearing Nuka Ride outfits that occupy Body Slot 33. I tried replacing the reference in Outfit Studio with an up to date version of the Fusion Girl reference. With the Safari Heels this worked half of the time. With other Body Slot outfits that break collisions I have this work method 100% of the time. Not sure why Safari Heels are different. Could be something else broke collisions. Will keep debugging and see if I find something for sure.

I'm not sure if this bug has been mentioned - but if you get all of the questions right on the Boris test, it just loops back to the start of the test over and over until you decide to get some stuff wrong.

 

Looking in the CK, there seems to be a GetIsID condition for the Doppelganger on the Boris dialogue. (in the case that the 'BorisMom' variable is less than 5.)

Completely on purpose. I did it this way because in free camera mode you can't read the subtitles, and I needed to find a way to make the subtitles visible during an AAF scene. It is that the conversation betwen Maxion/Overboss is half important. Check here

No more branches! ? I have to "branch" if you're the Overboss bitch or not and then if you're a vaultdweller or not, and I even have to do it again if you fucked the dog at the start or not. A good part of my bugs is precisely because I can't test all the possibilities.

There was no crash. Just frozen black screen.

Had to wait before I could begin testing. Firstly, ctd when trying to speak to Kaiser, reason was foz' ro dah mod still installed(maybe put that in description?). Removed it, dialogue works, no ctd.

Second, after speaking to Shank I received the tryout outfit and camera immediately went wonky, with cursor behind my characters back, unable to interact with anything, had to use console to rectify it (player.caa animarchetypeplayer)

That's all so far.

Haha I understand. I am surprised by how many branches there already are.

As clarification I was not proposing a true branch like those others. Just one more dialogue option after selecting Vault Dweller. Music could respond with shock and ask if any of your family was frozen too. Saying yes starts the Vault Dweller branch. No starts Wastelander. This would make it blend nicely with the alternate start mod. But people can already load back and select Wastelander so it is no big deal.

Being a vaultdweller has consequences on other quests. For example, you can reply to Keyshawn (the DC guard) that "my husband never complained about my blowjobs", to which he replies that "I'll make you forget about your husband". And in the new mission with the Overboss, which I'm finishing, he compliments you or reprimands you for your food, saying "your husband was a lucky man" / "your husband probably never told you the truth, but as a housewife you suck."

 

During the mule quest you can also complain to your clients, remembering things from the past like your mother-in-law, university professors, and so on. It doesn't have much consequence, I did it partly to fill in the dialogue and partly to give it a little more flavor.

 

So if you're going to be a non-vanilla vaultdweller, it means creating other dialog options.

I use that mod to quickly test my dialogues. It never caused me CTD. What could have happened is some unexpected intersection with other mods + f4z ro doh.

As for your camera, make sure you have everything up to date. AAF and Real Handcuffs. It's only for a little while anyway. If Shank doesn't correct you, Mason corrects you.

@JB. I saw you're planning on dropping the no-run heels mods in favor of HHT.  Is it possible to make it work with the NR outfits?  I'd really like to start training those feet as I work work into the industry.... ;)

HHT already works with the NR outfits.  At least it did in my game.

Sooo, after playing through the 4.0 version I got stuck on Nuka Lab, everything worked perfectly until there.

On Nuka Lab, when Boris started questioning me I've answered every question and the he just started it over again (not sure if this is intentional or not), but I could progress after answering incorrectly.

After the scene where Boris plays the Mule animation the game just freezes while loading, did something like that happened with anyone as well? I disabled some mods that I was using, leaving only the essentials.

Damn, HHT is loaded and setup in MCM, but I'm sprinting like normal.  I guess I need to look into it.

 

Edit - Fixed it, one of two things.  I realized I had an old version of FO4HHS installed and I still had some of JB's No Run mods installed that I had packaged into my own outfits backups(so I don't have to track down the right FG conversions once they work).  Updated HHS and removed those, tested right out of the vault this time all is good!!!
